25-1010A_THE STATURE OF A PERFECT MAN PT-21 (IT'S GOD IN YOU THAT MAKES IT PERFECT)

25-1010A_THE STATURE OF A PERFECT MAN PT-21 (IT'S GOD IN YOU THAT MAKES IT PERFECT)

2Pe 1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2Pe 1:2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

2Pe 1:3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2Pe 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2Pe 1:5  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

2Pe 1:6  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

2Pe 1:7  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

2Pe 1:8  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:9  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

2Pe 1:10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

1Ti 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Col 1:26  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
2Ti 2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
2Ti 2:20  But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
2Ti 2:21  If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
2Ti 2:22  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Heb 11:39  And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Heb 11:40  God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Rom 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

*HE ABSOLUTELY, WITH HIS OWN BLOOD, PURCHASED OUR SINS AND PERFECTED FOREVER HIS BELIEVERS.

THE.PERFECTION_  JEFF.IN  ER 35-54  FRIDAY_  57-0419

49    There you are. That's the answer to the death of Christ. That's the answer to Calvary. He absolutely, with His own Blood, purchased our sins and perfected forever His believers. Therefore, in Christ we stand blameless, perfected in the Presence of God Almighty. We are underprivileged people with our own doctrines; we are--been taught that we have to get up to a certain place, we have to do a certain thing. No, my brother, it's nothing you've done; it's what God did for you. We are now, if we are justified by faith, we are perfected forever in the Presence of God.

50    Then Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect." Then it was perfected forever. God through the death of Christ nineteen hundred years ago today, perfected the believer that He foresaw before the foundation of the world forever. And those who He has called, He has justified. Those who He foreknew, He has called; those who He has called, He has justified; those who He has justified, He has already glorified. He has perfected His believers.

*GOD HIMSELF CAME, THAT HIS OWN SPIRIT, WHICH IS THE HIGHEST LINE OF SPIRIT THERE IS, CAN COME BACK BY THE FORM OF THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO THE WORSHIPPER …

THE.PERFECTION_  JEFF.IN  ER 35-54  FRIDAY_  57-0419

46    Again, how do we get into that Body? I Corinthians 12:13 says that by one Spirit... How does the Spirit come? Through the Sacrifice. Where did the Spirit lay? Within the Blood. Why couldn't the animal come back? It was an animal. The animal spirit could not come to the human spirit and do anything to it, because the human spirit was a higher line of life than the animal. But no other man's spirit could come back. If you've got the spirit of some ancestor, it's spiritualism. But God Himself came, that His Own Spirit, which is the highest line of Spirit there is, can come back by the form of the baptism of the Holy Spirit to the worshipper, through the Blood of Christ, and take him into the Body. He's safe.

*…CHRIST HAD TO DIE TO MAKE US PERFECT. BUT IF WE ONLY LOOKED AT THE PICTURE, IT'S ONLY GOD'S GRACE THAT WE ARE WHAT WE ARE.

Watch. Perfect's what we're talking about.

For then they should not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshipper once purged would have no more conscience of sin.

What do you mean? The word "conscience" there, and right interpretation, is "desire." And if a man comes, the worshipper correctly, before Christ, seeing His suffering, and he offers himself to Christ, and says, "O Lord God, there's nothing in me that can atone, but I'm wholly depending on You," then that Holy Spirit comes into the human heart, the very sin question's settled forever, for every desire of sin has been taken from you. For if the law could've done that, them sacrifices would not have had to cease; but being that it could not do it, Christ had to die to make us perfect.

THE.PERFECTION_  JEFF.IN  ER 35-54  FRIDAY_  57-0419

54    Friends, there is so many things that we could say tonight about the perfection. We are always trying to gouge the eyes out of somebody else to make ourself just a little holier than the are--they are. But if we only looked at the picture, it's only God's grace that we are what we are.

*THERE IS THE PERFECT MAN OF GOD WHEN HE POSSESSES THESE VIRTUES.

THE.STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-18  SUNDAY_  62-1014M

50-2    If you die, you take the blood out of a man. You embalm him. Trouble of it is, a lot of them never got embalmed. See? You take the blood out of a man, he's gone. Then the only thing you can do is put another blood back in him if he's going to live again; you took his blood out. And now we put the Blood of Jesus Christ in. See? And that brings the faith of Jesus Christ, the virtue of Jesus Christ, the knowledge of Jesus Christ, the temperance of Jesus Christ, the patience of Jesus Christ, the godliness of Jesus Christ, the brotherly kindness of Jesus Christ, and the love of God which is Jesus Christ. He's the Head that controls you. And your feet is the foundation, faith. Amen. Controlled by the Head, takes the people...?... There you are. There is the perfect man of God when he possesses these virtues.

*THEN THE WHOLE STATUE OF YOUR BEING IS GOVERNED AND CONTROLLED BY THESE THINGS.

THE.STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-18  SUNDAY_  62-1014M

51-1    Here come a man, Paul, laying the foundation. Irenaeus begin to pour this on to it; the next one poured this; the next one poured this; next one that, and that, and that, and on down till it comes to the last age. But what is it? The same Spirit. The same spirit that dwells in me says, "Hands, reach after that case." The same spirit says, "Feet, make a step." See what I mean?

Then the whole statue of your being is governed and controlled by these things. But it cannot be completely controlled till it completely possesses these qualities.

*WHAT CHRIST WAS, THESE PEOPLE ARE, BECAUSE HIS LIFE IS IN HERE; THEY ARE IN CHRIST, AND THEIR LIFE IS DEAD AND HID IN CHRIST THROUGH GOD, AND SEALED IN THERE BY THE HOLY GHOST.

THE.STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-18  SUNDAY_  62-1014M

51-5    You're sealed. A seal shows on both sides. Whether you're going or coming, they see the seal just the same. There you are. See? When a man or woman possess this, then the Capstone comes down and seals them into the Kingdom of God which is the Holy Ghost.

Then the Word, coming from here, manifests Itself through each one of these beings (See?), and makes its complete being a tabernacle of the living God, a walking, living example of Christianity.

What Christ was, these people are, because His Life is in here; they are in Christ, and their life is dead and hid in Christ through God, and sealed in there by the Holy Ghost: I Corinthians 12. That's right. See? You reckon yourself dead. Then you're born of faith, then virtue, and these other things that's added to you till you're a perfect living image of God.
