  E-4    Now, Peter was just not an ordinary fellow had fished one or two nights. He knowed all the signs of fishing; just how the moon's supposed to be, just how the waters are. And they'd fished all night long, and had taken nothing. Now, just think, here it is, I want you to get it. See, they had fished all night, and had taken nothing; and yet Jesus told them to go right straight back to where they'd been fishing and drop down the net, they'd get a whole draught of fish.

Now, if they'd just fished through that water, a hour before, hour after hour, all night long, and had taken not even one fish, how in the world are you going to drop the net down and get a whole bunch of fishes? They're just not running. It just doesn't even look reasonable, sensible.

But Peter said, listen at him, here's what it is, "Lord, we have seined all night and taken nothing. Nevertheless, at Thy Word, I'm going to let down the net." There you are. It's taking God at His Word, not what you feel or taste or--or what this says or that says. It's taking God at His Word. "At Thy Word, Lord, I'm going to let down the net. I don't know how they're going to be there, but If You..." If there wasn't any there and Peter let down the net with faith, believing that God would fulfill His Word, faith will put some there. And it did do it. It did do it. Fish was there.

  70    ...So many people are listening to enticing spirits and instead of taking the Word of God. Spirits, they're in the world. They're demons, and they go out into places, and they get amongst men: ministers. They get amongst church members; they get amongst good people; and they cause them to come into a illusion; and they say things, and do things, and teach things, and practice things that's contrary to the Word of God. Today ministers, other congregations are allowing their people to play cards in the churches, many of them. Now, that's not altogether Catholics; there's a lot of Protestants does that.

What they try to do is substitutionary something. They try to adopt some new plan. They try to adopt education to take the place of the Holy Ghost. You'll never be able to do it. No matter how well your man is educated... I think it's a good thing for him to be educated, but if he hasn't got the Holy Spirit with that, his education will do him no good. Education will never take the place of the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

10 You got to get the man right in his heart first, before he can believe. He ain’t got nothing to believe on. He ain’t got nothing to believe with. I’m sure the little, infant brain of a man knows nothing about belief. He’s got to have something in there stimulates his faith and makes him look yonder to his Creator, and believes the very God that “Phew!” blowed the moon and stars off of His hand can do all things. This world was made by faith. God spoke the world into existence. This very world that we’re setting on right tonight, is nothing else but the Word of God materialized. If it didn’t, where did He get the material to make it out of?

That’s what these sons and daughters do, which are kings and priests, yet not in full possession, but they’re making sacrifices, offering to God spiritual sacrifices, “The fruits of our lips giving praise to Him.” Amen. “Fruits of our lips.”

No you can't get in on any of them. God calls you as an individual. And it's you that's got to clean up, because He's taking a people from the Gentiles for His Name's sake, His bride, the Gentiles.

Esther cleaned herself. She cleaned her heart. That's what she cleaned. That's what the church needs: a heart cleaning." How do you clean your heart, Brother Branham?" Washed by the water of the Word, through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

A man that'll let his woman get out in the street with naked--with clothes on like that, I've got little respects for him being even a man. He's a puppet. That's right. She uses him as a dishrag. Shame on you. You ought to be men.

And a pastor will let his church get by with such things as that without blasting the tar out of it from the pulpit, he's a sissy. What we need is men. The Gospel--not with rubber gloves, but with the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost with the Word... The Bible says these things are wrong. It's wrong for people to do that way, to act that way. It ought to be preached, and lived, and everywhere. Ought to... The church needs a purging, a cleaning out.

  E-85    Esther purged her heart before God, walked up with a meek and humble spirit; the church that's going to be the bride of Christ... Now, remember, Esther refused the worldly adornment. She took the Spirit in her heart to go before the king.

And the woman today, the church that thinks she's going to get in because she's got more numbers, she's the best dressed crowd, she's got the biggest organization, the biggest church in the city, and things like that... You'll miss it a million miles if you're depending on that.

It's a sweet, kind, reverent spirit to the Word of God, washed by the water of the Word. And the Word in you, it's a washing. Amen. The church needs a washing, a full Gospel washing (That's right.), not just a part washing, but a full Gospel washing, cleaned up, made new creatures in Christ Jesus.

  E-86    Jesus' bride is not a dirty bride. He wouldn't have His dirty bride. A woman come up to get married, and she looked like she come out of the pig pen out there, a man that's got any dignity about him wouldn't marry her. He'd make her clean herself up. And when the church of Christ comes up to get married, thinks she's going in the bride with all the world tagging onto her... Christ's bride won't be like that. No, sir. (I must hurry.)

Neither is the church of Christ, of the Lord Jesus Christ, that church is not a ragged church either, with worn out rags of denominations. She don't have to be a--a member of some great denomination. She has to be Blood-washed, Blood-bought. Not saying we belong to the biggest church, the biggest organization, or this, that, or the other; she's got to be pure, sanctified, holy, without spot or wrinkle, by the Blood of her--her Saviour, Jesus Christ.

  E-64    There's a revival going on. What is it? A sowing. You don't hear very much of Billy Graham no more, do you? What about Oral? What about the rest of them? You know the great revival fire's not burning. What is it? It's the end time seed sign. The words has been sown. What is it? Denomination will reap denomination. That makes them confederate themselves together.

But the Word of God has been sowed also. And when the Spirit of God begins to fall, the Word of God will live in the people. And that false bride that's committed adultery out there, and brought herself into creeds, and sold out her birthrights will reap what? A confederation of church, that's to be bound and burned like the thorns and thistles. But where the Word of God's been sowed into the people's heart, it will reap a Bride for Christ as certain as I'm standing here: End time signs.

They've been talking so much about latter rain. Not discarding you latter rain brethren, but that's not latter rain. If the latter rain would've been here, the power of God would've struck that thing, and she'd have swept the world. The latter rain's fixing to come. What's the matter? The church is manufacturing herself something just like Eve tried to do. She tried to have more light to manufacture something.

We've done the same thing, trying to make something in ourselves. Keep your hand off of it. Let God do it. Take His Word and believe It. Hold It in your heart. And when the rain begins to fall life will take hold, and the Word will manifest itself.

  E-39    Brother, you take one another's spirits. That's exactly right, you take one another's spirits instead of the Holy Spirit. Just like a good man takes a bad woman's spirit or vice versa. You take each other's spirit. And I have done this one thing, brother, if God, if I know my heart with my Bible here tonight. If there's one thing I've tried to stay clean of, I've never tried any sensations, or any thing to get people to look at me. I've tried not to even to lay my hands on a person, but preach the Gospel, and let God do it. And if there's one thing, when I stand at the judgment bar, I don't want to have to give an account for a bunch of illegitimate born children. I'm going to preach to them the Word, the Word of God; and they have the Spirit of the Word, or they don't have it at all. It's God's Spirit comes by the Seed of God, is a Word of God that's planted in your heart that brings Christ Jesus, not some emotion, not some fantastic. What a time we're living in.

Psa 27:13  I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 

Psa 27:14  Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

68   The Bible said, “The Gospel came to us not in word only, but through the power, manifestations of the Holy Ghost.” In other words, “It’s the Holy Ghost taking the Word of God and making It manifest.” See? And, otherwise, the only way that the signs of Mark 16 can follow the believer is that the Holy Spirit Himself takes the Word of God and demonstrates it to the people. That’s it. Now, faith makes that Word live. See?

69   The Word is God. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” And then Jesus said, “If ye abide in Me, and My Word in you, ask what you will, it’ll be done for you.” See? That’s staying with Christ in the Word. Don’t go right or left, stay right with It. See? And then It’s actually not your word then, It’s His Word, and His Word has the power and authority behind It. Now, and if the Holy Spirit, which is God’s Word, or the power of God’s Word, comes in with God’s Word, It’ll make God’s Word display Itself.

*... BUT REAL, UNADULTERATED FAITH IS TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD, THAT’S THE MAIN THING...

    19    Now, I’ve noticed it many times, people think they must be prayed for, that’s all right, we should pray for each other, or that their hands might be, or, some evangelist’s hands, must be ministered, that’s all right, that’ll bring contacts, and so forth, of faith, but real, unadulterated faith is taking God at His Word, that’s the main thing.

6   ..... What the Father was, He was. For He was God, the Son, here on earth. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. You believe that? But when He met Satan, He never used any of those powers. He taken the Father’s Word. Satan said, “Now if?” That question mark over the Word of God again. “If Thou be the Son of God, command these stones to be made bread.”

7   .....And He said, “And it’s also written…” (See?) right back with the Word of God, tying Satan. And then he taken Him upon the mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world: United States and all. Said, “These are all mine; I’ll give them to You if You will fall down and worship me.”

Jesus said, “It is written…” back to the Father’s Word again, none of His power, just using the Word, showing that the weakest of Christian can defeat Satan on THUS SAITH THE LORD, taking God at His Word. Is that right?

31 And the very valuable things that we thought was insignificant, places like the Dead Sea, and we find out that the Dead Sea has got more treasure in it than all the rest of the world put together, and all the uranium mines and everything else. Just a little thing that England was willing to submit back to the Arabs. And said, “There wasn’t nothing to it.” Why would they want them ol’ rock lands? But they failed to know, the Bible said, that, “She would blossom like a rose and would bring forth her abundance.”

32 How little…How man in days past, and in even in this day, how they misjudged things by not taking it from the Word of God. What a vital mistake England made then. What a vital mistake they give, by giving back India her rights. But they don’t realize those things, because they do not read the Bible. And if that be true amongst nations, how much more is it amongst mankind, tonight, who do not value their life, day by day, to read the Bible and see what God has laid in His Word for every man; and your attitude towards God and towards His Word.

149    Jesus alone can lead you to that Eternal Life. There’s no church, no denomination, no preacher, no priest, no nothing else can lead you to It, you must be led by Him, the only One that can lead you.

150    Could you imagine Him leading you out of His Word, which that’s Him? And if He is the Word, and you’re a part of Him, won’t you be a part of the Word? The Word that God wants to pour the waters of salvation upon today, to identify Him today; like the apostles identified Him, like Luther, like Wesley, like in the people in them days identified Him. This is another age. It’s the Word! The Word said these things that we’re seeing taking place now, is predicted to take place in this hour. So accept Jesus Christ and let Him lead you to Eternal Life.
 

*GOD IS TAKING THE ELECT OUT OF THAT PENTECOSTAL CHURCH, THAT HYBRID, PULLING IT OUT, AND FINISHING UP THE WORD... AND IT’S GOT TO BE SO CLOSE UNTIL THE WORD ITSELF WILL BLEND WITH THIS WORD.

711   God is taking the Elect out of that Pentecostal church, that hybrid, pulling It out, and finishing up the Word. And it’s got to be so close until the Word Itself will blend with this Word. There comes the Headstone, crying, “Grace, grace, amazing grace.” The Headstone!

712   Here you are, like this, see, on there. See how it way wide down here? And it keeps getting closer, closer, closer, the ministry. After while, here come…Here is Luther; justification, justified. Here come Wesley; sanctified bunch. Here come Pentecostal; restoration of the gifts. Now God is taking from there, honing out a bunch, to make a ministry just exactly like that Word there, because it’s got to fit with the Word. There’s the Bride; take Her up.
