*THESE FIVE SENSES CONTROL THIS BODY, BUT THE SIXTH SENSE IS FAITH.

1   The five senses wasn’t given to man to contact God with however. Five senses was given to man to contact his earthly home. We contact God by faith, the sixth sense. These five senses control this body, but the sixth sense is faith.

3   Now, what is faith? “Faith is the substance (not just a mythical thought), it’s the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things you do not see,” taste, feel, smell or hear. There’s none of the senses declare it, yet the sixth sense, which is faith…

The outside man is governed by five senses: see, taste, feel, smell and hear. The inside man is governed by two senses: either faith or unbelief. If you believe it, it’s just as real to you as if any of the natural senses of the body declare it. And truly, these senses of the body can be fooled, but faith is absolutely infallible.

Then if you can accomplish, or enough faith, get enough faith, not here but here, get enough faith here to believe that you’re going to be healed by God. Reason it out and tell Him you’re going to serve Him, and all you’re going to do, and make your promises to God, and there can be enough faith drop down in your heart, that you believe it with all your heart, soul, and mind that you’re going to get well; there isn’t enough demons in hell to keep you sick.

Doctors are God’s servants, and they try to do everything they can. They can only do what they have knowledge to do. All that God has give them knowledge to do. But if they’ve done all they can do and can do nothing else, and looks like your time is set and yet you can pray and tell God that you’re going serve Him, you’re going to do something for Him, you’re going to help His Kingdom, you’re going to make the world a better place, you’re going to help His church, you’re going to help win souls for Him, and give Him a reason, and then say, “God if You’ll heal me upon those—tho-…upon that, I’ll serve You all the days of my life.” And God drops a little faith down there that heart and tells you it’s so. No matter what the doctor said, God’s Word’s so. “At Thy Word, Lord, it’s finished.” Yes sir, I know that to be the truth.

See, you and I, as we grow along, we become educated and smarter and everything. We advance, the human race advance; everything advances but God. He was perfect to begin with; He will be perfect when it’s all over; He’s still perfect.

7   But I believe every Word of It is true, and every Divine promise is a seed that will produce just exactly what it said it would do, if you’ll take the right mental attitude towards it. Remember this, the right mental attitude towards any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass.

Try it. No “try it”, just go do it. If you got enough behind you to push you and say that, “I can do it, and by God’s grace, I will do it,” then God’s with you. But if you just a wishy-washy, “Well, I’ll go up and see if they can do anything for me,” no.

God in His great, marvelous promises, they’re just as unfailing, as more—more to be so than heavens and earth is itself. For heavens and earth will pass away, but God’s Word will never fail. It has to be.

6 The main thing is, if we can find where God’s Word belongs in our life. God sets times, and time limits, and then it works all to that time. Many of them before the coming of the Lord Jesus, they was many false things raised up and said, “This is the Messiah, and this is…” Many false things taken place according to the Scriptures, just before the coming of the Lord Jesus.

And people try to do it within themselves; they try to make God’s Word fit in their program. But that you got it vice versa. You’ve got to fit in God’s program. That…We find that that’s true.

64   Now, if I come with the message of Pentecost, I would be in the Laodicean Church Age, and it wouldn't be right.

65   That's the reason that Wesley could not take Luther's message. Luther was in one age, church age, and Wesley was in another church age. If Jesus would have come in the... with the message of Moses, it would not have worked. If Moses would have come with the message of Noah, it would not have worked.

66    But God has lotted to His--His--His people, of every age, a Scripture. And before the age can come into existence, into time, then the churches has got it so mixed up that they--they don't know where they're at.

70   And now sin caused all this to happen. And God, through this age, is gathering up His material.

71   Satan is still here. That's the reason all these things happen. He is still here, and all of his evil forces are still here. Notice, that's why the earth now is so filthy. That's why the scum and ridiculous things that goes on; bloodshed, war, politics, sin, adultery, all kinds of filthiness goes on, is because that Satan is the ruler of this earth and this atmosphere.

72   Both the heavens and earth now is contaminated with devils that can accuse us before God. Jesus is There to intercede for us. See? While the accusers keep pointing a finger, "they did this, they did this, they did this," but the Blood still covers. He came to redeem that Elected that He foresaw. That's why it's so filthy today.

87   Now, the first step is "repentance towards God." And then follows after that, is water baptism, "water baptism," "Repent, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ." See, water baptism follows, showing that repentance was genuine. Or, to "remit" our past sins, that has nothing to do with future sin. It only remits. "Repent, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ." What for? "Remission." Taking away of past sin has nothing to do with the future. Just, your sin has been chopped off, what you did.

88   You can't repent for what Adam done. You never done it; Adam did. You just get forgiveness for what you done. The old nature is still there.

97   But then when he gets sanctified, that cleanses that desire out of him. See? It takes the want of it away. He can still be tempted, but He takes the want of it away. Still, he's not right yet.

98   Then, he is baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire. Cleansed, burnt out, cleaned up; and then put into the service of God.

Sanctification only sets them aside for service.

The messages, that's where there can't be no more ages of it, see. We're at the end time. Three stages. Baptism cleanses the heart with the Holy Ghost.

E-23    Now, faith is a conqueror; faith is an overcomer. It just isn't a--a peace maker, it overcomes. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. What does it do? What is faith? What is the conqueror? Conquer and victory is the same. To conquer, it means to beat down, to override, to handcuff, to throw into prisons. It means that the sin, that once ruled you, you rule it now. It means that you have overcome it, you are--you've whipped it. You're greater than it is. Oh, I feel religious, right now.

And I want to take my subject, this morning, of this: How Can I Overcome? Now, I chose this because that I think that it's a time that we should never let the Spirit of revival die. We've got to keep in revival, constantly revived, every day. Paul said he had to "die daily, that Christ could live." And we must never let that revival die, within us.

Now, Revelations, the 3rd chapter, and beginning with the 21st verse, we read this.

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I... overcome, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

34    Did you notice the--the 'rangements of that? See? "Set with Me in My throne," not "on My throne." "In My throne," that's in His domain. See? And now, as--as Christ is the Ruler, throne Ruler at this time, of the complete domain of God, so will the Church be with Him, the Bride be with Him, in His throne, in the entire domain. See? Not "on My throne," but "in My throne," see, where His domain reaches. A throne is over a domain, and--and a domain reaches just as far as its boundaries does. And this is from Eternity to Eternity. Just think of it!

And we are products of His, because we're genes of His Spirit. Then we should conduct ourself, women and men, like the Bible said for us to do. Not Jezebels of the street, and Rickies of the organization; but Christian gentlemen, sons and daughters of God, borned of the Spirit of God, manifesting the Light in our days and scattering It. That's exactly right.

112      "I got the baptism, the Holy Spirit." That still has nothing to do with it. That's just only a temporal gift for you.

The real gift is your soul down in there, see, that was born of God, and that controls the whole thing to the Word of God and the will of God. And there you grow up, see, then you're a son and daughter of God. You're a child of God. And these things, as you come up... Like the mother, now you're in the bowels of the earth, trying to come forth. You're a son of God, coming forth, and you see the Word says, "I should do this. I should be born-again."

"Well, I belong to church." That don't mean one thing. See?

113    "Well, my, I'm Pentecostal. I belong." That, if you don't line with that Word, there is something wrong. See? Then, you see, your real father ain't God. See? Because, that real start in your soul, before there even was a spirit, it was your soul. That soul didn't come from God, then it wasn't a germ of God, to begin. You're deceived. You're in a patch of weeds and bearing the world's record of the weeds coming forth. Acting like the world, loving the world, is because the love of God is not in you.

You have to be reunited, again, with another Nature.

214      Your name of your first nature, was born, and put in a book of life. All your deeds was wrote in it, too. Everything you done under that nature was put in a book, called the book of life.

215    You notice, in Daniel, when he come to "the Ancient of Days, Whose hair was as white as wool. Ten thousand times ten thousands came with Him, to minister to Him; the--the Bride. And then the books were opened." "And another Book was opened, which was the Book of Life." See? There is saints already there, the Church, the Bride. "Another Book was opened, which was the Book of Life."

216      Now, you, but when you were separated from that union, by spiritual death. Your natural desire is to cut your hair. Your natural desire is to wear shorts, paint your face. Your natural desire is to be intellectual, smart man, know something better than the other. That's what Eve wanted. That's the very thing she wanted.

217    "Well, say! You little two bit, two-by-four preacher, stand up there and tell me? I've got a Ph.D., LL." That just makes you farther away from God, every time you add one thing. See? See? That's right. It's true. See?

The first Book of life coming up, was when you were born, that was your natural birth. See? See, there's a little grain of Life laying there, that you wonder, "Where did It come from? What--what these strange things?"

You can have the baptism of the Holy Ghost every hour in your life, and still be lost and go to hell. The Bible says so. Uh-huh, that's exactly right.

163      Look here, you are a outside person. You have five senses that contacts that outside body. God gave you five senses; not to contact Him, your earthly home: see, taste, feel, smell, and hear.

164    Then you have a spirit on the inside of that, and it has five outlets: conscience, and love, and so forth. Five outlets that you contact the spirit world with that, but with your spirit.

165    Your physical contacts the physical. Your spiritual contacts the spiritual. But inside of that you've got a soul, and that soul is that gene that come from God.

70      Then I've got to tell God the same way. And tell both her and God, with the sincerity, that I'll never do it again, by the grace of God. See? Don't just really... Now, I might be able to put it over her, and she (see?) won't see. Maybe my speech to her would--would convince her, but my speech won't convince God. He looks in my heart and He knows. And after all, just a few more years with her, if God permits, and we'll be taken out of this world. But with God, it's Eternity, so I must be deeply sincere with God. And then if I am sincere, He'll hear me. But if I'm not sincere, there's no need of me wasting God's time listening to me.

71    And that's where it's come to today, amongst people, there doesn't seem to be the depths of sincerity that--that they ought to have.

72    And I believe that a man or woman corning to be prayed for, should first confess everything that they have did, and make everything right. Because, you see, you notice lots of times on the platform, you notice, watch how far away that THUS SAITH THE LORD is. See? See? The people, the vision will materialize, of course, with their faith, God promised that by a gift. But the healing is something different, see; God recognizes it then, see.

107      Our confessions today has begin to come just like a--a I-don't- know-what, some riddle or something. We go down and pray a prayer about two minutes long, and get back up; do something wrong, say, "O Lord, You know I didn't mean to do that, but, hallelujah, I'm alright," go along. 108    You've got to be godly sorry. You've got to confess that thing. You've got to make it right. You cannot do it... Jesus said, "When you go to the altar, remember the brother has ought against you, go to him first before you offer your gift here, be reconciled with the brother." See? It's becoming us, to us, that we fulfill all righteousness.

That was Abraham and his group. There was a lukewarm bunch, Lot, half backslid, yet a believer; down in Sodom. Three classes of people.

189    There is always them three classes. Ham, Shem, Japheth's people. Also, believers, make-believers, and unbelievers. They're everywhere, and we--we find them in every group. And, everywhere, you find them. And that groups is still here.

44    The first is believers, make-believers, and unbelievers. Now, that is quite a--a--a subject. But, as sure as we sit here tonight, that group is always gathered together. Wherever the people gather, we find this group, and always have found them, and we probably always will have them until the Coming of the Lord. And I want us, tonight, to picture ourselves, as I speak of these three groups, and see what group that we are in.

193    Remember, now, there was three groups. The Sodomites; sinful, wicked world like today. There was the church member, lukewarm, cold; Lot, his group. There was Abraham, the called out of it, and was setting out here in the desert, taking the hard things. Right. And the Lord came down in a form of a Man, the Speaker of these three Angels that stood.

86    Now we find the people much the same. The people doesn't change. These people were divided in three groups. And we'll look at that for a few minutes now.

87  They were divided, there, in three different groups, with three different opinions. Some of them believed Him (Abraham). Some of them hated Him (Pervert Homosexual). And some of them didn't know what to do (Lot).

88   See? That's--that's just the way we got it. I preached, I believe in this church, once: Believers, Make-believers, and Unbelievers. Them three in the group, you--you have that everywhere. This is three in the group, too; seeing this state of the people has always been. We can go way back and prove, that's the state of the people always. They've always been in that kind of a condition.

202    Abraham and Lot was looking for a promised, miraculous son. Is that right? Is that what the Church is looking for today? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] A return of this Son, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we're looking for Him to come.

203    Now look at the position. Everybody will admit she's in a Sodom condition. I passed over California, here the other day, and got a hold of a magazine, or a paper, read where, "Homosexuals had increased sixty percent, in the last year." See? Oh, my! It's pitiful. See? It's just because women has throwed themselves away. That's right. And just on the street, naked. And it's just--it's just a shame. But the Bible said they'd be that way. And even to men, it's just they're--they're--they're changed. See? And it's going to get worse. In another, another, if the world would stand another fifty years, the whole world would be totally insane. Look at the sanity from forty, from twenty years ago, till this time. See?

But you got to find out where your loose screws is. Sometimes you got (Excuse me.)--got plenty of them. Some of them even gets too tight. You have to loosen it up a little (That's right.) to make the vibration. Like a musician with his--with his guitar, training his strings, he has to know the ting of it. A Spirit-filled man could tell the ting of it, whether it's way beyond the Bible, or way behind the Bible. It has to be right in the Bible, exactly with THUS SAITH THE LORD, must be trained in right. Then it'll zero. Then it'll hit the spot.
