26-0703A_TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD PT-11 (TRUSTING & EXPECTING FROM THE LORD)

26-0703A_TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD PT-11 (TRUSTING & EXPECTING FROM THE LORD)

Mat 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Mat 4:24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

2Th 3:2  And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
2Th 3:3  But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
2Th 3:4  And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
2Th 3:5  And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

Psa 112:1  Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
Psa 112:2  His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Psa 112:3  Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Psa 112:4  Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
Psa 112:5  A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
Psa 112:6  Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
Psa 112:7  He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Psa 5:11  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
Psa 5:12  For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

*WE WALK BY THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT WHO IS OUR TRUE SEAL, OUR TRUE ADVOCATE, OUR TRUE COMFORTER...TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD, CALLING EVERYTHING ELSE WRONG. GOD'S WORD'S RIGHT.

WHAT.IS.THE.HOLY.GHOST_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-2  WEDNESDAY_  59-1216

65    Now, we're going to ask now... Promised to us in the last days... This Advocate, Seal, Promise, everything that we have talked about Him tonight, with ten thousand times more, It was made a promise to us in the last days. They didn't have It in that day; they just had a seal in their flesh as a token and a sign, believing It was coming. And they walked by the shadow of the law, which they were circumcised by flesh.

Today we don't walk by the shadow of the law; we walk by the power of the resurrection. We walk by the power of the Spirit Who is our true Seal, our true Advocate, our true Comforter, our true Sign that we have been born from above, peculiar, odd people, acting funny, taking God at His Word, calling everything else wrong. God's Word's right. That's... Oh, my. That's what the Holy Ghost is.

*... IF WE HAVE ASKED WE SHALL RECEIVE. GOD SAID SO. AND THAT SETTLES IT FOREVER, IF GOD SAYS SO. NOW, WHEN YOU GET TO TAKING GOD LIKE THAT AND BELIEVING IT...

THE.UNCHANGEABLE.GOD_  TULSA.OK  SATURDAY_  60-0326

E-9    We'll take, for instance, Moses. Moses was eighty years old. He was almost, you might think, too old for God to deal with. He was an old man, unexpected in his age to be dealt with with God. Another thing, he was under the Mount Horeb, a unexpected place. God met him at a unexpected age, at a unexpected place, in a unexpected way. God didn't meet Moses the way He usually met men. He met Moses in an unusual way, in the way that He chose to meet Moses in.

That's the way he answers our prayer, in the way that He thinks is best. And His way is always right. If we ask for anything, and it doesn't happen just the way God--or the way we think that God ought to let it happen, then that makes us lose and fall back. Let's ask God, stand firm on the Word, and say It's true, and it--just receive it the way He sends it. That's the way you got to believe God.

It may come disguised; it may come in another way, around about way. But no matter what way it comes, if we have asked we shall receive. God said so. And that settles it forever, if God says so. Now, when you get to taking God like that and believing it...

*AND IT'S THE LIVING WORD IN YOU, AND GOD'S IN YOU, MANIFESTING HISSELF JUST LIKE HE WAS IN CHRIST.

THE.FUNDAMENTAL.FOUNDATION.FOR.FAITH_  CHICAGO.IL  THURSDAY_  55-0113

E-39    Then unconsciously your faith is there. You don't have to worry about whether you got faith enough to do this, or faith enough to do that. It's just there anyhow. You just do it because the Father said so. And it's the living Word in you, and God's in you, manifesting Hisself just like He was in Christ. You say, "As He was in Christ?" Yes, sir.

He said, "The works that I do shall you also; even more than this for I go to My Father." Now, that's His Word, Saint John 14:12. He gave that promise. Everyone will believe that was inspired. And...

"So a little while and the world will see Me no more, yet you shall see Me, for I will be with you until the end of the age of the apostles?" No. "I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." Hebrews 13:8 said, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

*THERE'S WHERE EVERY MAN AND WOMAN FAITH TO BE ANCHORED... IS UPON THE LIVING WORD OF GOD.

FAITH.IN.ACTION_  CHICAGO.IL  MONDAY_  55-1003

E-53    There's where his faith was anchored. There's where every man and woman faith to be anchored tonight is upon the living Word of God. You believe that, you can put it in action.

Jesus when he was here on earth. He said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, I can do nothing in myself; I'm the Son, I can do nothing; but what the Father shows Me, that I do. I come to do the will of God." And when He went away he said this ministry shall not cease now. "For the very things that I do, you will do also. For I will be with you, even in you to the end of the world." And this will be a sign," Hallelujah. "The very things that I do, shall you do till the end of the world."

FAITH.IN.ACTION_  CHICAGO.IL  MONDAY_  55-1003

E-54    He that... "There--there'll be people that will not see Me no more, but you shall see Me. For I'll be with you even in you to the end of the time." Jesus Christ is raised from the dead tonight. His supernatural powers is still with us. His great signs and wonders are taking place. Things that's never took place since the Apostle's days are taking place tonight; I say it humbly. But here's a direct evidence of scientific that Jesus Christ raised from the dead.

*...THE WEAKEST OF CHRISTIAN CAN DEFEAT SATAN ON THUS SAITH THE LORD, TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD.

FAITH.WITHOUT.WORKS.IS.DEAD_  CHICAGO.IL  SATURDAY_  53-0905

E-7    He said, "It is written: man shall not live by bread alone." Right with the Word... Taking Him up, and then he tried to whitewash the Word, make it some other way.

He said, "It is written the angels give Thee charge over Thee, lest any time dash foot against a stone, they bear Thee up."

And He said, "And it's also written..." (See?) right back with the Word of God, tying Satan. And then he taken Him upon the mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world: United States and all. Said, "These are all mine; I'll give them to You if You will fall down and worship me."

Jesus said, "It is written..." back to the Father's Word again, none of His power, just using the Word, showing that the weakest of Christian can defeat Satan on THUS SAITH THE LORD, taking God at His Word. Is that right?

*... BECAUSE WE WANT TO TAKE SIDES WITH JESUS, AND THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN TAKE SIDES WITH JESUS IS TAKING SIDES ON WHAT HE SAID, BELIEVING HIS WORD.

TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_  JEFF.IN  COD  FRIDAY_  62-0601

779-171    I know this one thing, brethren. They might call this fanaticism and whatever they want to, but wherein I was once a sinner, I--I've come into grace now. Something has happened to me. See? This one thing I--I now know by trusting His Word, by believing Him. I've been kicked out of every organization under the face of heavens. There's none of them that will receive me any more. You know that. Some of their men will out here, good men will accept, but every organization, it's thumbs down on me. That's right. But He's found me; He'll find me somewhere or another. That's right. Come along like that.

And so it'll be all right, because we want to take sides with Jesus, and the only way you can take sides with Jesus is taking sides on what He said, believing His Word. So let's take sides with Him. The blind man gave them a real testimony. All right.

*AFTER ALL, IT'S YOUR ANTICIPATIONS. IF YOU FALL ASLEEP IN THAT WATCH THAT YOU WAKE WITH THEM SAME ANTICIPATIONS, 'CAUSE IT AIN'T GOING TO HINDER ONE THING; YOU'RE GOING TO BE RIGHT THERE ON TIME ANYHOW.

TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_  JEFF.IN  COD  FRIDAY_  62-0601

750-30    What if God would've told John the Revelator, "Now, it's going to be two thousand years before My coming?" John would've come back and told the church, "Well, I guess we might as well eat, drink, be merry, 'cause there going to be many generations. (See?) Jesus ain't coming for two thousand years." See? So... See, the church had been loose, there'd have been no "on the mark", there'd be no waiting. After all, it's your anticipations. If you fall asleep in that watch that you wake with them same anticipations, 'cause it ain't going to hinder one thing; you're going to be right there on time anyhow. See? See what I mean?

Now, when--when St. Martin awakes in the resurrection, St. Paul, all the rest of them, it'll be just as fresh as if they was right in the battle, battling right away, 'cause they went right down under those same anticipations, looking for His coming. And there'll be a scream come, and up will come the whole church. You see? That'll be it. So it doesn't matter.

*UNTIL HE COMES, WE WANT TO LIVE EACH DAY LIKE HE MIGHT COME THE NEXT MINUTE, BECAUSE IT MIGHT BE THE END OF YOUR LIFE AT THAT MINUTE.

TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_  JEFF.IN  COD  FRIDAY_  62-0601

750-32    See, we've got to be looking for Him right now. Even... We don't know. It--it could be possibly... It could be a hundred years from now, it could be five hundred years, a thousand years, ten thousand years. I don't know; nobody knows. But say, for instance, that we live each day that He was coming that day. See? If we live like He was coming this day, when we awake (if we sleep and we awake in the resurrection), it will be just as fresh as if we'd just fallen asleep, just woke up. The trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ shall rise first; we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air. See? So it will be just as fresh.

TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_  JEFF.IN  COD  FRIDAY_  62-0601

750-33    But now, until that time, until He comes, we want to live each day like He might come the next minute, because it might be the end of your life at that minute. You don't know when you're going. This may be some of our last breath; we have it in us now, so you want to live like it is.

*THAT'S THE ONLY WAY GOD WILL EVER RECEIVE ANYBODY, IS BY TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD BY REVELATION THAT GOD WILL KEEP HIS WORD.

FATHER.THE.HOUR.HAS.COME_  CHICAGO.IL  TUESDAY_  56-1002A

E-37    He's watching for someone to come the way of the Blood, revelation. And Abel, by faith, he heard the Word of God, and took God at His Word; and by faith in the Word of God, God received him. That's the only way God will ever receive anybody, is by taking God at His Word by revelation that God will keep His Word.

*...JUST LAY RIGHT ONTO GOD'S GOODNESS, DRAWING HIS PROMISE, PULLING IT FROM THE BIBLE, EVERY DAY, READING IT, BELIEVING IT, TAKING GOD, PRAISING HIM, SATISFIED THAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE PERFECTLY WELL...

EL.SHADDAI_  LA.CA  THURSDAY_  59-0416

E-44    When a man hears (faith cometh by hearing)--hears that Christ died for his sins, and he's accepted, because God's knocked at his heart. He's got an invitation to the wedding supper. Then he just takes a hold with all that's in him and nurses, and nurses, until his spirit begins to grow. He's filled with the Holy Spirit. He becomes a real borned again Christian.

A man that's sick hears that he... Faith cometh by hearing; God is the Healer. You just take right to the other breast and just lay right onto God's goodness, drawing His promise, pulling it from the Bible, every day, reading It, believing It, taking God, praising Him, satisfied that you're going to be perfectly well...

26-0629P_PERSEVERANCE PT-3 (THE LONG-SUFFERING OF OUR LORD IS SALVATION)

26-0629P_PERSEVERANCE PT-3 (THE LONG-SUFFERING OF OUR LORD IS SALVATION)

Mat 15:21  Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

Mat 15:22  And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Mat 15:23  But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

Mat 15:24  But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Mat 15:25  Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

Mat 15:26  But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

Mat 15:27  And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

Mat 15:28  Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

2Pe 3:15  And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

Eph 4:1  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Eph 4:2  With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Eph 4:3  Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Col 1:10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Col 1:11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
Col 1:13  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Col 3:12  Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Col 3:13  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Col 3:14  And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Col 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Col 3:16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Col 3:17  And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

1Ti 1:14  And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
1Ti 1:15  This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1Ti 1:16  Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

2Ti 4:2  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
2Ti 4:3  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

*GOD RECOMMENDS THIS FOR HIS BELIEVING CHILDREN...UNTIL YOU DO THAT, SCREAM OUT TILL YOU GET IT. I LIKE THAT, PERSISTENT, HOLDING ON.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY.FOR.THIS.DAY_  BAKF.CA  V-22 N-6  THURSDAY_  64-0206E

51      God recommends this for His children. God recommends this for His believing children. He did. Not intellectual speeches, not some great theology, theology to teach. He wants you to cry for your needs. And that's right, cry out for it! You're too stiff and starchy, you'll never get it. If you are ready to limber yourself up a little, and cry, God will give it to you. He likes to hear His children cry. Cry your needs to God! God wants it. That's His provided way. Cry out for it! That's the way the baby cries; that's the way He wants you to cry.

"Cry how long?"

52    How long does a baby cry? Until he gets satisfied. And that's the way the believing Christian should do, God's child. If you see that God made the promise, don't give it up, cry till it's answered. Cry till you see God vindicates His Word. When God vindicates His Word, and proves it's here, then you don't have to cry no more; you got it, walk away and thank Him for it. Until you do that, scream out till you get it. I like that, persistent, holding on.

53    Not a hybrid plant, not one that has to be babied and petted, and packed around. Christians are real, genuine, born, articles of God. They fight for their position, and fight till they're finished on this earth. Every move of it is a fight.

*COME WITH A DETERMINATION. COME THAT YOU'RE GOING TO STAY THERE TILL IT'S OVER.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY.FOR.THIS.DAY_  BAKF.CA  V-22 N-6  THURSDAY_  64-0206E

54      God told Moses He give him the land. He told Joshua, "Every place the foot, or sole of your foot, treads, that I have given you." They had to fight for every inch of it. So do we fight for every inch of it. It isn't something to be babied and petted, and around like that, and say, "Well, I'll take you over there, see what you think about it. You pass your opinion." That's no way to come.

55    Come with a determination. Come that you're going to stay there till it's over. Stay there till God answers and vindicates. A man that believes in God, can see the Presence of God, feel the Presence of God, sense the Presence of God, and know He's here. He is here to answer everything that He made promise for in this day. Then, cry till you get it! Hold onto Him. Don't leave, if you have to stay day and night. God don't want His children to listen to intellectual speeches. He wants them to cry out to It, till the promise is vindicated.

*YOU MIGHT NOT FEEL LIKE DOING ANYTHING. BUT YOUR FAITH DON'T HAVE NO HINDRANCE. IT MOVES ON ANYHOW.

PERSEVERANCE_  CHICAGO.IL  SUNDAY_  62-0520

E-43    .....You might have some. I have plenty of them, lot of hindrances. But about your faith, that's the thing. If you can't be persistent, if you're going to let everything hinder you. Now, physically, you might feel bad. Physically you might not feel well. And otherwise, you might not feel like do--going to church. You might not feel like doing anything. But your faith don't have no hindrance. It moves on anyhow.

Maybe your pastor prayed for you, anointed you with oil. That's what he's supposed to do. And you go back and say, "Pastor, I don't feel any better." Oh, my. You're not... You oughtn't to have come up in the first place. See? See, you're going by your feelings. But your faith, if you've got faith.....

If you've got faith in God and faith in the prayer, then go on anyhow. There's nothing going to stop it. See? Why? You got faith. You believe it. Faith don't have any hindrances.

*A LITTLE LADY--THIS WAS ONE THAT HAD THE HANDKERCHIEF...AND THIS LADY WAS CLEANING A LAMP CHIMNEY, AND SHE BROKE THE CHIMNEY OVER HER ARM; IT CUT THE VEINS OR ARTERIES, WHAT IT WAS IN HER WRIST.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY_.  CONNERSVILLE.IN  SATURDAY_  53-0613

E-1a    .....After I got started in the evangelistic work out this way for the--our Lord, was at Corning, Arkansas. And I used to tell the folks, well just bring your handkerchiefs up now, and I'll pray over them. Now, many people anoint them. That's all right. That's fine. Anything God will bless, I'm right for it. And--but now, if you'll watch the Scripture, they didn't anoint the handkerchiefs, they just took off the body of Paul, handkerchiefs or aprons. So they was... I told the people; I said, "Now, if you got a handkerchief, why let us pray over it, and sometime, maybe, the baby might get the colic or something--and way back out in these thickets and swamps out here."

So one night, a little lady had come in and got a handkerchief. I said, "Now, if you don't--if you're not going to use it right at the present time," I said, "put it in the Bible on Acts the 19th chapter where there's--the Scripture for it's at." For an...?...

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY_.  CONNERSVILLE.IN  SATURDAY_  53-0613

E-1c    So I remember one night, a little lady--this was one that had the handkerchief. She lived way back in the rural district, her husband a farmer. And she was cleaning an old lamp chimney...

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY_.  CONNERSVILLE.IN  SATURDAY_  53-0613

E-1d    And this lady was cleaning a lamp chimney, and she broke the chimney over her arm; it cut the veins or arteries, what it was in her wrist. Well, as the old superstition (you know), cobwebs, they usually get them, and that's just a superstition, like tearing a chicken open for a snakebite. And so they put the cobweb on it, and 'course, the blood spurting up, it just washed the cobweb away. Well, she wrapped something around it, and a--a bed sheet and it bled it wet. So she was getting weak, and her first closest neighbor is two miles or more. And her husband had gone to city to get a stuff for their own--for their table, and for the animals on the farm. And she was bleeding to death, and she knew she was going to die in a little while, if something didn't help her. She runs out, happens to think about that handkerchief.

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY_.  CONNERSVILLE.IN  SATURDAY_  53-0613

E-1e    Now, this is her story. I can't say this. See? I'm only--I'm only taking her word. But she run in there, and she grabbed this handkerchief, and she said, "Dear God, my life lays within Your hand. If You don't help me, I--I'm going to die. And this is--was give to me for this purpose. And now I--I lay it on my arm in the Name of--of Jesus, Your Son. And the blood stopped.

She walked about two mile after her husband got home, wearing big old boots through the muddy rice fields, and so forth. And she hung her lantern up in a tree, and flagged a Greyhound bus, and rode about hundred and something miles to Little Rock where the service was held that night. Come in holding that handkerchief up, not even stained, and showing the place where the cut was. "Faith cometh by hearing, hearing of the Word."

26-0626A_TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD PT-10 (THE LIVING WORD IN YOU)

26-0626A_TAKING GOD AT HIS WORD PT-10 (THE LIVING WORD IN YOU)

Mat 4:23  And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Mat 4:24  And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

2Co 3:3  Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

2Co 3:4  And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

2Co 3:5  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

Rom 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Rom 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Rom 8:29  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

*... LET THE LIVING WORD DWELL IN US AND ABIDE IN US, THAT WE MIGHT BE SHAPED AND FORMED, NOT TO THE WORLD

A.DECEIVED.CHURCH.BY.THE.WORLD_  JEFF.IN  CH 67  SUNDAY_  59-0628M

2    Now, let us lay aside, Lord, every toil of the day, every care of this life, all the way from the janitor to the pastor, that there would be nothing in our minds now, but be waiting, listening reverently for the Holy Spirit to speak to us, that we might accomplish something good, to know more of Thee, by our gathering together. For, Lord, truly that's why we come on this hot day. Speak to us through Thy living Word, and let the living Word dwell in us and abide in us, that we might be shaped and formed, not to the world, but be transformed by the renewing of our spirit into the form of the Son of God.

Oh, our hearts tremble when we think, and the joy floods our souls to know that we can be called sons and daughters of God. And we stand on the very brim of His second coming, and all nations and kingdoms quivering under our feet, all things of the world is vanishing, but knowing that someday He shall come and shall take us to a Kingdom where there shall never be an end, or, it'll never be moved. And to think that we are now the--the subjects of that Kingdom O God, circumcise our heart and ears today by--by the Holy Spirit, through the washing of the water of the Word. For we ask it in His Name and for His glory. Amen.

*AND LIFE IS IN THE WORD, BECAUSE IT'S THE WORD OF GOD. LIFE LAYS IN ITS WORD.

THE.INVASION.OF.THE.UNITED.STATES_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-1  SUNDAY_  54-0509

23    I wish now to call our attention to the Word. And I just love the Word, the living Word of God. It's... Inside the Word is the Life. Now, the Word, letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth Life. And Life is in the Word, because it's the Word of God. Life lays in Its Word.

Like if I told you, "I give you..."

You say, "I'm hungry, this morning, Brother Branham. Would you give me five dollars?"

I'd say, "I will." Now, there's just as much life in that as there is in my promise.

That's the same way it is by God. When God promises anything, then what God is, His... He's got to be in His Word. See? This Word is worth no... This Word is just the same as God. It is God.

Your word is what you are. It's your bond; we used to call it. Your bond is your word. If we can't take your word, then I--I can't have confidence. But if I can take your word for anything, then it's a man of honor.

And the Bible said, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." See? See? "And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us."

THE.INVASION.OF.THE.UNITED.STATES_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-1  SUNDAY_  54-0509

29    If we would think, this is the very earth that we're living on, this morning, is the Word of God. That tree is the Word of God. And you, your body, is the Word of God. God spoke it into existence like that, made it from nothing, which had nothing...

Did you ever notice the human life, where it come from? One little cell so small that a human eye couldn't see it, only through a great, powerful glass. And out of there come a hundred-and-fifty, two-hundred-pound man. Where did it come from? See? God just spoke it, and it just started by nature, growing, and there it produced just exactly. He spoke every tree, everything into existence. And it's such a wonderful, wonderful thing this morning to view the Word of God.

*YOU'VE GOT TO GET THE LIVING WORD IN YOU TO HAVE THE LIVING GOD IN YOU, BECAUSE THE WORD HERE IS GOD WHEN IT'S MADE FLESH IN YOU, MADE SPIRIT AND LIFE IN YOU.

PERSEVERANCE_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0218

171    You--you've got to get the living Word in you to have the living God in you, because the Word here is God when It's made flesh in you, made Spirit and Life in you. When It goes into your flesh and your faith, and becomes Life, then you are a living example. You're an epistle of God, read of all men. You won't have It like Christ, not the Fullness, because It's divided up on the day of Pentecost.

*HE WAS EXPRESSING, IN WORD THE THOUGHT OF ALMIGHTY GOD. AND WHEN WE BY FAITH CAN ACCEPT THAT WORD, IT'S GOT TO BECOME MATERIAL. THE.WORD.BECAME.FLESH.INDIA.TRIP.REPORT_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-5  SUNDAY_  54-1003M

232    There you are. Hallelujah. O God. "Upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against It." Oh, my. When the world is no more, "Heavens and earth will pass away, but My Word shall never pass away." Why? He was expressing, in Word the thought of Almighty God. And when we by faith can accept that Word, it's got to become material. Oh, how it thrills my heart to think, "Thy Word, forever, in heaven, Lord, is confirmed." What God's thoughts is, He expresses them in Words, and here is the living Word of God.

Jesus said, "He that heareth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but has passed from death unto Life." Hallelujah!

*...LET THAT FAITH ANCHOR ONE TIME IN THAT HEART, TILL THEM WORDS WILL BE TRUE BEFORE GOD.

THE.WORD.BECAME.FLESH.INDIA.TRIP.REPORT_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-5  SUNDAY_  54-1003M

234    Not "he that goes to church." Not "he that puts his name on the book." Not "he that professes." Not "he that shouts." Not "he that heals the sick." Not "he that opens the blinded eyes." Not "he that speaketh with tongues." Not "he that prophesies." "But he that heareth My Words, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath Everlasting Life, and shall never come into condemnation, but has already passed from death unto Life." Oh, brother, let that faith anchor one time in that heart, till them Words will be true before God. Then heavens and earth will shake and go away, but that eternal Word, that thought within your heart, that's expressed by God, can no more fail than Isaiah's words could fail.

There has been thousands looking at them miracles was done, and yet could not believe, because Isaiah had expressed it and said, "They will not believe It."

Col 1:26  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Col 1:28  Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Col 1:29  Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

2Sa 22:29  For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

2Sa 22:30  For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

2Sa 22:31  As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.

2Sa 22:32  For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?

2Sa 22:33  God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

26-0622P_PERSEVERANCE PT-2

*THEN IF GOD KEEPS HIS WORD, ONE WORD, YOU CAN BE PERSEVERANT THEN. YOU CAN HOLD ONTO YOUR PROMISE AND KEEP IT.

PERSEVERANCE_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0218

253    Listen friends, I want to ask you this question before I say this. What do we go to church for? What's it all about? If there is no resurrection of the dead, if--if there is no resurrection, then let's eat, drink, and be merry, for we're nothing but logs, dogs, and so forth anyhow. We don't believe that. We know that there's a living God. Certainly. Well, if He's a living God, I want to ask you something. Then these Words that I said... You might agree with me; you might not agree with me. But if you do agree with me, then yet, you--you could question that until you see it manifested. That's right. If it's God's Word, God has to keep His Word. If He doesn't keep It, well, then it isn't God, then I--I've been a false, I been a... I made a false manifestation; I--I've been a false prophet. But if God said so, God keeps His Word. Then if God keeps His Word, one Word, you can be perseverant then. You can hold onto your promise and keep it. Is that right?

*THAT'S WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH CHRISTIANS TODAY. WE SO SOFT-SOAPED THEM...

GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY.FOR.THIS.DAY_  BAKF.CA  V-22 N-6  THURSDAY_  64-0206E

28    That's what's the matter with Christians today. We so soft-soaped them, and we shook their hands and brought them in by secret, and joined them into the church. What they need is an old-fashion prayer altar where they pray through, until using themselves, come in God's provided way, till they free themselves from the world. The trouble of it, today, they put their name on the book and join church, and that's all there is to it. But God's way, provided way, is to stay there and work your way through, until God gives you the new Birth. That's exactly right. Pick him out, it'll kill him.

*FOR TRULY, WE PROFESS THAT WE ARE PILGRIMS AND STRANGERS. THIS IS NOT OUR HOME.

CONVINCED.THEN.CONCERNED_  TEMPE.AZ  THURSDAY_  62-0118

E-5    I see some of my friends from up around Jeffersonville, or visit us. We got people sitting out here before us tonight, I notice, that drive all the way from Macon, Georgia, every Sunday to have... That's about 714... That's about 1500 miles a round trip to come to church on Sunday. And they don't do that just one time. Every day in the year that we have service up at the Tabernacle, they drive from way down in Macon, Georgia.

I see Brother and Sister Dauch here from Ohio. Brother Dauch is well-stricken in age, but just he and his wife together, and the Lord has been good to them. And they--they drive every Sunday, this aged couple, from way up in Ohio, down from the--over icy roads. And she, a woman, drove all the way from Ohio here to get to be in the meetings. (1890MI.)

CONVINCED.THEN.CONCERNED_  TEMPE.AZ  THURSDAY_  62-0118

E-6    And here the people are from Macon, and different places, that's gathered in here for the service. We're glad to have friends like that. So happy to share our privileges together, our fellowship together. For truly, we profess that we are pilgrims and strangers. This is not our home.

* THE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL RUN YOU RIGHT STRAIGHT TO THE CHURCH EVERY TIME THE DOOR OPENS FOR FELLOWSHIP.

CONVINCED.THEN.CONCERNED_  TEMPE.AZ  THURSDAY_  62-0118

E-36    Now, there's so many people say if you quiver, hold your eyes shut, and do all kinds of things and get sensations. You get spirits, friends, but if your life don't tally up to what you're professing, then there's something wrong with the spirit you got. See? It's--it's true. See? You--you must be sure. The Holy Spirit will bring forth a holy life. That is right. And if the desire's in your heart... If you have to force yourself constantly to try to press, and do what's right, and the world's still hungering in you, then there's something wrong. See, the Holy Spirit in you will not hunger for the world; It'll hunger for God. If it's hard for you to go to church, and press yourself to come when the church is open, there's something wrong with that spirit. It's trying to keep you away from God. The Spirit of God will run you right straight to the church every time the door opens for fellowship. Yes, sir. See? So you've got to be sure of this now. The time is at hand.

*YOU'VE GOT TO SURRENDER YOURSELF, GOT TO GIVE YOURSELF COMPLETELY TO GOD.

PERSEVERANCE_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0218

33    You've got to have faith in what you're doing. "And if your heart condemns us not..." If we know the Bible teaches us something and we fail to do that, then there's something we can't have faith in. See, you--you can't get yourself together, because you know there's certain things there that God teaches, that you will not cope with. And when you do that, then where you at? You see, you--you can't have faith on what you're coming to. You can't come up here and say, "I--I--I, last night I was out drunk, and, Lord, I want You to heal me this morning. I--I--I'll--I'll won't drink too much more." You've got to surrender yourself, got to give yourself completely to God. You've got to obey every bit of the Word, sell out completely and then take the Word. That Word is in the church. It's a living Word.

*YOUNG MEN'S HEARTS BURNING WITH ZEAL TO TAKE THE GOSPEL IS WHAT WE NEED.

THE.UNCHANGEABLE.GOD.WORKING.IN.AN.UNEXPECTABLE.WAY_  PHOENIX.AZ  SATURDAY_  62-0120

E-16    You notice most of the women today has wash machines, and electric ironers, and push button dishwashers, and everything like that; and yet they got less time to pray than they ever had. You know, Susanna Wesley had seventeen children. And she--with them seventeen children, packing the water from a spring, and washing on her hands, and yet she could find two or three hours a day to pray with her children, with seventeen little fellows. And out of there come a John and a Charles.

That's what's the matter today, reason our schools are letting down, no ministers coming in, young men interested. We have... need some more praying fathers and mothers is what we need to make our schools fill up. Young men's hearts burning with zeal to take the Gospel is what we need. But things are changing.

*THAT'S IT, PERSISTENCE, PERSEVERANCE, STAY RIGHT WITH THE WORD OF GOD.

PERSEVERANCE_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0218

142    Oh, brother, fight till every symptom's gone. Hallelujah. Fight till every--every doubt is gone.

Say, "Well, my case is different." Take that jawbone and knock it out of there.

This one said, "But, you know, I'm just a little different; I'm getting too old." Knock it out. Abraham was a hundred. Go on.

"Well, but my case is very bad." Jonah was in the belly of the whale, hands tied behind him, laying down in the whale's vomit. Everywhere he looked was whale's belly. He had plenty of symptoms, but he turned over and said, "Once more will I look to Your holy temple, Lord." Can't hide Him. That's it, persistence, perseverance, stay right with the Word of God.

*THEN BE PERSEVERANCE WHEN YOU--PERSEVERANT WHEN YOU GET THE WORD. HOLD ONTO IT, THE PROMISE; IT'S YOURS.

PERSEVERANCE_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0218

107    A man or a woman that takes God's Word, you got ahold of something. Your anchor holds within the veil. The storms and gales may press and shake in every way, but you're anchored. She's coming right on up to the place. You're persevering. You're going to believe it.

Noah believed it, sure, and he achieved God's purpose for his life. Do you want to achieve God's purpose in your life? Then be perseverance when you--perseverant when you get the Word. Hold onto It, the promise; it's yours.

*ASK HIM. STAY RIGHT WITH IT. YES, SIR, HOLD ON TO IT IF YOU KNOW IT'S REAL.

THE.UNCHANGEABLE.GOD.WORKING.IN.AN.UNEXPECTABLE.WAY_  PHOENIX.AZ  SATURDAY_  62-0120

E-38    He knows your needs. He knows how to bring it to you. But the trouble of it is, because it don't come the way you think it ought to come, then you're all discouraged, and you hand it back to Him. Let's ask Him, and believe that He will send it just the way He wants to send it, and accept it upon the basis. That's right. See?

If you ask Him, don't make Him a liar. He can't lie. He promised, "Ask the Father anything in My Name, I'll do it." Now, God can't lie. Ask Him and it shall be done. "Seek, ye shall find; knock, it'll be opened." We believe that. Certainly we do.

E-39    They got a manger. So what did they do? Had this little Babe in a manger, was that the mighty King? They refused Him. Yes, sir. Why? He didn't come the way they expected Him to come. And friends, you might think that was a horrible thing. It was. But you know, we're guilty of the same thing. We are guilty of the same thing. We ask God for things, and then we walk around and... And if He don't just pour something on us and give us something that we think we ought to have, then we just hand it back. See? Don't do that. Ask Him. Stay right with it. Yes, sir, hold on to it if you know it's real.

* AND NOW CHRIST SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND HE IS GOD IN SPIRIT. SO THEN, HOLD ON TO IT.

THE.UNCHANGEABLE.GOD.WORKING.IN.AN.UNEXPECTABLE.WAY_  PHOENIX.AZ  SATURDAY_  62-0120

E-40    And what's more real than the Word of God? And the Word of God is made flesh, and dwelt among us: Christ. And now Christ sent the Holy Spirit, and He is God in Spirit. So then, hold on to it. If the Holy Spirit's here and give us that promise, stay with it. What's the matter with us Pentecostal people who profess to have the Holy Ghost and afraid to trust God anywhere nearly? What's the matter? We're expecting it in a--some other way.

*BUT IF IT'S GOD'S WORD, IT'S GOT TO COME TO PASS. BE PERSEVERANT, SEE GOD MAKE IT COME TO PASS.

PERSEVERANCE_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0218

110    Oh, he run like a coward with all of his education. All of his theology, he failed. All of his great things, he failed. But one day in a burning bush God met him. When God come to him in this burning bush, watch him, with a stick in his hand, his wife on a mule, with little Gershom setting on her hip, on his road to Egypt. What was he? Going down to take over. He was--had perseverance; he was very persistent.

"Moses, do you think you at eighty years old, and with a crooked stick in your hand, dry as it can be..." A crooked stick, a one man invasion, going down to Egypt like one man going over to Russia to take over... We only need... God only needs one man. That's only... He only needs one man completely in His hand. One man, that's all He needs. He can shake Russia to pieces with that one man.

PERSEVERANCE_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-3  SUNDAY_  62-0218

112    He took Noah, or Moses, pardon me... He took Moses while he was running this a-way, settled down to a nice life, lovely young girl, married her, had a baby, falling heir to his father-in-law's sheep, Jethro, the priest of Midian. He had everything made, had a nice home, place, comfortable living out there, and hunt every once in a while with his crossbow, maybe, and kill a deer, and plenty of berries, and plenty of sheep, and wool and trade, the caravans come through. Why, he had it made, nothing he had to worry about. But one day, one day the burden of the people of... His people that was burdened was done left his mind. They were down in Egypt. He had failed, so God can do something else about it. But one day when God met him in a burning bush, you talk about perseverance, here he goes.

"Where's your army?"

"I don't need any. My army is an unseen army." Like it was at Dothan one morning with the prophet... "My army is an unseen army." Here he goes; the only thing you can see is an old crooked stick, leading this mule behind, and the whiskers a-blowing. "Praise God." His eyes set towards heaven, going down to take over.

Sometimes faith makes you act ridiculous to the carnal mind. But if it's God's Word, it's got to come to pass. Be perseverant, see God make it come to pass.

Psa 119:57  CHETH. Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
Psa 119:58  I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
Psa 119:59  I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
Psa 119:60  I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
Psa 119:61  The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
Psa 119:62  At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments.
Psa 119:63  I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
Psa 119:64  The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
Psa 119:65  TETH. Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according unto thy word.
Psa 119:66  Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
Psa 119:67  Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
Psa 119:68  Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
Psa 119:69  The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
Psa 119:70  Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.
Psa 119:71  It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Psa 119:72  The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.
Psa 119:73  JOD. Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
Psa 119:74  They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
Psa 119:75  I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
Psa 119:76  Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word unto thy servant.
Psa 119:77  Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
Psa 119:78  Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
Psa 119:79  Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
Psa 119:80  Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.
Psa 119:81  CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
