26-0302P_THE OVERCOMERS OF THIS AGE

26-0302P_THE OVERCOMERS OF THIS AGE

Joh 16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Rev 3:21  To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Rev 3:22  He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

 FAITH_  PRINCE.ALBERT.SK  WEDNESDAY_  56-0815

And here I am standing here just yielding myself, and the Holy Spirit's a moving, and this is what you call heavenly places in Christ Jesus. But remember, Satan's always skeptic at the sons of God. You know, he always does that. Someone with a skeptic idea, when they do that, just he's trying to interfere. But Christians always overcome.

HOW.CAN.I.OVERCOME_  JEFF.IN  V-4 N-12  SUNDAY_  63-0825M

51      Now, we see these hours that we're in, this stage, and we see what it was. And the Holy Ghost is rebuking the age that put Him out. But, in all that, did you notice, "To him that overcometh"? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Even in that worldly, wicked church age, "Him that overcometh."

52    We find here that God has always had overcomers. He's had overcomers in every age. There's always, every time, in every age that there's been on the earth, God has always had somebody He could put His hands on, as a witness in the earth. He's never been without a witness, though sometimes just one. But somebody overcome, now, like the saints of old.

FORMER.AND.LATTER.RAIN_  PHOENIX.AZ  THURSDAY_  60-0303

him a morning star." And I pray, Father, that You'll let every one of us be overcomers tonight, overcomers of unbelief, overcomers of anything within ourself, that we might overcome ourselves that Christ might live in us.

FAITH.IS.OUR.VICTORY_  JEFF.IN  SATURDAY_  58-1004

E-23    Now, faith is a conqueror; faith is an overcomer. It just isn't a--a peace maker, it overcomes. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. What does it do? What is faith? What is the conqueror? Conquer and victory is the same. To conquer, it means to beat down, to override, to handcuff, to throw into prisons. It means that the sin, that once ruled you, you rule it now. It means that you have overcome it, you are--you've whipped it. You're greater than it is. Oh, I feel religious, right now.

Which was first, a sinner or a Saviour? A Saviour, for a Saviour is more powerful than a sin. Which was first, the Healer or a sickness? It couldn't be a Healer, 'less it was over the sickness. It is a Healer; it could conquer the sickness. And faith is the victory that overcomes every curse of the devil. Faith is the victory.

Num 13:30  And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.

1Jn 2:13  I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
1Jn 2:14  I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1Jn 5:4  For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
1Jn 5:5  Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

26-0227A_FOOLS FOR CHRIST

26-0227A_FOOLS FOR CHRIST

1Co 1:21  For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Pro 1:7  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Pro 14:8  The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit.
Pro 14:9  Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.

Job 19:25  For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
Job 19:26  And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Gen 3:1  Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Gen 3:2  And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
Gen 3:3  But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Gen 3:4  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Gen 3:5  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

TESTIMONY_  CLEVELAND.OH  WEDNESDAY_  50-0823

For, brother, sister, God makes the enemy crazy. Why, Judas Iscariot throwed down the silver and said, "I've betrayed innocent blood." See? Is that right?

The Roman said, "Truly, that's the Son of God."

Pilate's wife... Look at Pilate, said, "I wash my hands. I find no fault in Him." Is that true? That's His enemy.

Look at his pagan wife. Said, "Have nothing to do with this just Man, for I've suffered many things in a dream today, because of Him." Is that right? A heathen... God makes His enemies to testify. The demons that were in those people screamed out and said, "Why, You're the Son of God, the Holy One of Israel." Is that right?

TESTIMONY_  CLEVELAND.OH  WEDNESDAY_  50-0823

E-19    Demons, fortunetellers spoke out to the apostles. When others said they were impostors, these fortunetellers said, "Why, they're men of God that tell us the way of Life." See? Makes the demons testify of Him. Everything has to testify.

TESTIMONY_  CLEVELAND.OH  WEDNESDAY_  50-0823

77    A few years ago, the people around here said, "You people up there at that Tabernacle is holy-rollers. You're all this, that, and the other. You're crazy!"

But, oh, my, we've stood on that Rock that's True, with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and now the power of Almighty God is pouring on and the church, coming forth. Hallelujah...?... I just want to shake the whole thing everywhere. Brother, it's already in session right now. It's going on. That's right.

THE.DEITY.OF.JESUS.CHRIST_  JEFF.IN  V-20 N-12  SUNDAY_  49-1225

79    The Deity of Him, Who is He? Some of them thinks Him a little baby back there. He's the One that stood on the invisible (oh, my) platform, reached out His hands, and spoke, and said, "Let there be light," and there was light. That was Jesus Christ. "For He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world recognized Him not." He was, and He's the Deity of God. Look what He did back there. Talk about the miraculous back there, you talk about shouting? When He performed the miraculous things, to make things which are now, out of things which was not, He spoke and it was so.

THE.DEITY.OF.JESUS.CHRIST_  JEFF.IN  V-20 N-12  SUNDAY_  49-1225

80    And that same power, that same Christ... Hallelujah. Let the fundamentalists, let them people who deny the power of God say it's wrong; but that same power that spoke the world into existence is in those people that's got the Holy Ghost. That's right. Men and women, it's time that we found out who you are. The devil's trying to hide you back, tell you that you're some little trod-down something. You're not. You're sons and daughters of God. The Deity is not in heaven; it's in you. Hallelujah.

I know you think I'm crazy, but let me tell you something, brother. When you realize that Almighty God lives in you, Immortal Life. "My Life, I give Zoe," the Life of God is in the human being.

1Co 3:18  Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
1Co 3:19  For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
1Co 3:20  And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
1Co 3:21  Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;
1Co 3:22  Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
1Co 3:23  And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.

26-0223P_HIS I HAVE RECEIVED HIS CHALLENGE IN OBEDIENCE TO WORD

26-0223P_HIS I HAVE RECEIVED HIS CHALLENGE IN OBEDIENCE TO WORD

Rev 1:5  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Rev 1:6  And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

WHO.IS.THIS.MELCHISEDEC_  JEFF.IN  V-5 N-10  SUNDAY_  65-0221E

68    Now, the different between Him and you, as a son. See, He was, at the beginning, the Word, an en morphe body. He came in and lived in that, in the Person of Melchisedec. Then, later, we never heard no more of Melchisedec, because He became Jesus Christ. Melchisedec was the Priest, but He became Jesus Christ. Now, you by-passed that. Because, in that form, He knowed all things, and you have never been able to know that yet.

You come like Adam, like me, you became from the attribute to the flesh, to be tempted. But when this life is finished here, "If this earthly tabernacle be dissolved, we have one already waiting." That's where we go; that is the Word. Then we can look back and see what we done. Now we don't understand it. We have never become the Word; we've just become the flesh-man, not the Word.

69    But, and look, clearly makes it clear, you will never be the Word unless you was a thought at the beginning. That proves the predestination of God. See? You can't be the Word unless you're a thought. You had to be in the thinking, first.

But, you see, in order to stand temptation, you had to by-pass the theophany. You had to come down here in flesh, to be tempted by sin. And then, if you stand, "All the Father hath given Me will come to Me, and I'll raise him up at the last days." See, you had to be first.

THE SEED IS NOT HEIR WITH THE SHUCK_JEFFERSONVILLE IN_ 65-0218_93_V-6 N-4

153    God vindicates It to be true. Sure, It is fulfilling this age, when the Seven Seals. Or, just proving the denominations has just been carriers, that's another one of Father's business, to prove. And the Father's business now is to show you that them denominations is not His. They're a man-made systems that deny the Word. Right.

CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED_JEFFERSONVILLE IN_63-0728_239_V-3 N-7

448      Now notice, God making Hisself known. Not, we're not suppose to make converts to Christianity by a government; but by the revelation, the Christ in you, as God was in Christ. As God was in Christ, Christ in you! When, what God did in Christ, Christ does in you! What signs did God in Christ, Christ does in you! Oh, isn't that beautiful? Uh! Oh, my! I like that.
449    Jesus said, "At that day," that's this day. "At that day," when this revelation is made known, "you will know that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me; I in you, and you in Me." When the revelation is made manifest, "At that day ye shall know that I and the Father are One; I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me." Then when the revelation comes forth, then it's, "I in you, and you in Me." There you are. See the manifold, threefold mani-... What for? To bring it back. We've got to be.
As Jesus was the Word of God. He vindicated the same, if He--if He wasn't Word.

CHRIST IS THE MYSTERY OF GOD REVEALED_JEFFERSONVILLE IN_63-0728_239_V-3 N-7
218    It's not expressions of some church that we should express something. It's a life that you don't live yourself, but He comes in you and lives by Hisself, and you become a prisoner; to any human intellectual being at all. You're led by the Spirit. And how do you know?

219      Now, you say, "I might know I was losing my mind. Maybe a man that loses his mind does that."

220    But if you have the mind of Christ, Christ expresses Himself through you, shows that it's Him and not... you've not lost your mind.

221    Some people, under illusions of things, goes out and becomes insane. Well, that, we know that's wrong. That's the devil trying to impersonate the real thing before it gets here. See? They're always a bogus. See?

222    But a real man, and to lose his own thoughts and his own thinking! Not come up blindly like that. No, sir. You come up with your right senses, and Christ takes you over and expresses Hisself. And now, to the world, you're an insane person.

223    Now, if you're insane, you're actually insane, then there's nothing, the devil can't take you in complete control. He'll make you do everything contrary to this Word.

THE FUTURE HOME OF THE HEAVENLY BRIDEGROOM AND THE EARTHLY BRIDE JEFFERSONVILLE   64-0802   216_JEFFERSONVILLE IN_V-3 N-5

138    Now watch, He came to be a Redeemer. Is that right? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] What does redeem mean? "Bring back." Why didn't He get the priest? He never was up there. See? See, he had no representation.
139    He came to redeem that which had fallen. In the fall, this got messed up, with that girl; but God had her in His thinking before the foundation of the world, and He come to cleanse her. See? Then He... She had Eternal Life. See?

THE RAPTURE_    YUMA AZ     65-1204   103    V-5 N-14

161      And notice, not only is the Bride washed, forgiven, but She is justified. See? Did you ever try the word justified, to see what it means?
Now, for instance, if Brother Green heard that I had been drinking, I been doing bad things, then he found out that I didn't do it. Then he come, say, "I forgive you, Brother Branham."

162    "You forgive me? I never done it. What you forgiving me about?" See? But if I'm guilty, then I can be forgiven; but I'm still not just, because I did it.
But the word justified is "though you never done it, at all." Justified! And then the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us so from sin, till it's put in the Book of God's forgetfulness. He's the only One can do it.

163    We can't. We can forgive but not forget. I could forgive you, but I always remember you done these evil things. Then, you're not just; you're forgiven.
But, in the sight of God, the Bride is justified. She never done it, in the first place. Amen. Standing there, married to the virtuous Son of God; never sinned, in the first place. Why? She was foreordained. She was trapped into this. And now when She heard the Truth and come forth, the Blood cleansed Her. And She stands there, virtuous. See? She, no sin on Her, at all.

IT BECOMETH US TO FULFIL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS     JEFFERSONVILLE IN   61-1001M  114    STAND FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS    V-15 N-4

It's becoming to every Christian to stand by the Word. Exactly right. Stand by God's Word. Heavens and earth will pass away. You'll pass away. I'll pass away. Churches will pass away. Organizations will pass away. But God's Word shall never pass away. Be faithful, faithful pilgrim.

THE GOD OF THIS EVIL AGE    JEFFERSONVILLE IN_65-0801M  163_V-4 N-9

167      But, in obedience, this little faith Woman, that lives by faith, the Bride; the person here, there; here, off somewhere else, some other church, some other denomination, whatever it is, in some not... Believes the Word of God, obedient, waiting in love, for the promise of the age to be confirmed. She is watching for it. She is part of that Word, and She is watching for Her life to manifest that Word.
Brethren, can't you see that? I hope that didn't go over you.

The Body is waiting for (which is the Word), waiting for the Life (which is the Spirit) to confirm or make It alive. That's what She is waiting for. No other life will work in Her. She can't come to life any other way. Yet, She feels it out there, and She knows it's going to happen; then here it happens, then She wakes up. God said, "Let there be," and She came forth like the first one come forth.

26-0220A_WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A CHRISTIAN LIFE

26-0220A_WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A CHRISTIAN LIFE

Eze 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Eze 36:27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

THE IMPERSONATION OF CHRISTIANITY        LIMA OH_57-0127A_94

E-19    Notice, now Ezekiel is speaking; he said how that He would put a new heart (same chapter), take away the old stony heart, and He'd give you a new spirit. And then He'd put His Spirit in you.

Now, the new heart does not mean work up the old one. It doesn't mean that the church needs a face-lifting. It means the church needs a birth. God's church don't need a polishing; it needs a conversion. That's right. Then just to take the old church and set, say, "Well, I tell you, we'll change the deacon board. We'll swap pastors."

That isn't what the church needs. It needs the baptism of the Holy Ghost. It needs the power of the living God.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A CHRISTIAN LIFE?        CHICAGO IL_57-0113_70    NEW WINE

E-37    When you get this Spirit in you, then the--the burdens of life becomes light. You don't notice them any more. The yoke is lined with feathers. They become so easy. And then the people pile things on you... You know what? You're like Samson at the gates of Gaza, who picked up the big brass gate and packed it up on the hill.

And when you get to a place that the Holy Spirit has you, not you the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit has you... You say, "I got the Holy Ghost." I don't think that should be said. You must say, "The Holy Ghost got me." And then when the Holy Ghost gets you, the burdens, the yoke is easy. Then you pick up the big gates of Gaza and pack them straight to Calvary. And there on Mount Calvary you lay them at the feet of Jesus and pray for your enemies, not with a grudge, "Lord if You'd bust him open." No, but with something within your heart that, "Dear God, that man is a man like I am." You see what's lacking in the church, friend? Now, what we need is a... We need to be--start all over.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A CHRISTIAN LIFE?        CHICAGO IL_57-0113_70    NEW WINE

E-52    Today there is so much based upon intellectual. There's so much based in Pentecostal, upon fantastics, upon emotions. Now, don't take a substitute when Pentecostal skies are loaded with the real thing. Don't take some little emotions, some little work up, some little oil falling from your hands, or a bloody face, don't take these little emotions when the whole skies of God is full of real genuine Pentecostal blessings. He will give you a new heart, a new spirit, and put His Spirit in you.

AN EXPOSITION OF THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES - THE MESSENGER

 I Timothy 4:1,
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils."

Now in every case you will notice that a false prophet is one who is outside the Word. Just as we showed you that 'antichrist' means 'anti-Word' so these false prophets come perverting the Word, giving it a meaning that fits their own devilish ends. Have you ever noticed how the people who lead others astray bind them closely to themselves by fear? They say that if the people don't do what they say, or if they leave, then destruction will follow. They are false prophets, for a true prophet will always lead one to the Word and bind the people to Jesus Christ and he won't tell the people to fear him or what he says, but to fear what the Word says. Notice how these people like Judas are out for money. They get you to sell all you have and give it to them and their schemes. They spend more time on offerings than the Word. Those who attempt to operate gifts will make use of a gift which has a margin of error in it and then ask for money, and neglect the Word and call it of God. And people will go to them, and bear with them, and support them, and believe them, not knowing it is the way of death.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO MAKE A CHRISTIAN LIFE?        CHICAGO IL_57-0113_70    NEW WINE

E-34    Now, when you receive the Holy Spirit It goes right in the middle of that new dispensa--disposition of yours. "Oh," you say, "I quit drinking; I quit smoking. You know, I--I--I just feel like a different person." Oops. Wait a minute. See, you just got a new spirit, but the Holy Spirit comes into the middle of that spirit and then He makes you every--every main motion, every intellectual, everything agreeing right into this middle of the wheel. What God says, that's... [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] If the days of miracles,... If Jesus is the same yesterday and forever, the Holy Spirit would bear record with that, and every intellectual move of yours will say the same thing.

And when you have these little temper fits and you fly out, and you tell lies, and you proselyte, and you jump the fences, and you so selfish with your organization that you're so narrow minded you couldn't hear another minister, just remember, the Holy Spirit isn't ticking in the inside of you. Whew. I didn't know I was going to say that, but--but that's right. See?

E-35    The Holy Spirit will make every movement like Christ. It'll make you Christ-like. The fruits of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, meekness, gentleness, patience, faith. Those things are what the Holy Spirit controls, our emotions.

Our emotions is not so much as jumping up-and-down. You could do that. A shindig will bring that to you. But the Holy Spirit brings you into operation, or in control of God, that you walk in peace and in love and in joy with longsuffering, goodness, meekness, gentleness, patience. You see? It isn't something that you do. It's something the Holy Spirit does in you. You see, it's no longer an intellectual thought of your own; it's a subconscious moving of the Holy Spirit. Oh, I wish I could shout the praises of God around the world to that.

Church of the living God, there's where our Pentecostal move failed. We have some man-made musical, clap hands, jump up-and-down emotion. When if we go back out on the street and the Holy Spirit doesn't govern our lives to cooperate with that, we have not got the Holy Spirit. That's not skim milk. But, brother, that's what the church needs. Only life can come by the Holy Spirit.

WHY IS IT THAT SO MANY CHRISTIANS FIND IT SO HARD TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE?        PHX 57-0303A  100    A NEW HEART  PHOENIX AZ

E-27    Now, many people's thought that to be the Holy Spirit. And they made a mistake. The Methodist thought surely they had it when they shouted. Said, "Brother, we got it." Anybody that shouts, but they found out, there was a lot shouted didn't have it. That's right.

Along come the Pentecostal and said, "When we speak with tongues we've got it." But they found out a lot spoke with tongues that didn't have it. That's right. You admit that.

Well, now we got all kinds of everything for coming, and you haven't got It, till you get it. But brother, you haven't got it until there is the Spirit of God comes from heaven and changes your life, that makes the fruits of your life a different person. "By their fruit you shall know them." That's the reason you have so much ups-and-downs.

26-0216P_CHARACTERISTICS BEYOND THE SURFACE

26-0216P_CHARACTERISTICS BEYOND THE SURFACE

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.

Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Joh 1:6  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

Joh 1:7  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

Joh 1:8  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Joh 1:9  That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

Joh 1:10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Joh 1:11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

Joh 1:12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Joh 1:13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Joh 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Mar 16:14  Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Mar 16:15  And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mar 16:16  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Mar 16:17  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

GOD IS IDENTIFIED BY HIS CHARACTERISTICS     BEAUMONT TX         64-0311    76

6    And now bring your Bible, bring a pencil, set down the text. Go, seek them out, check them with the Word and see if they're right or not. See? And then don't take your own theology, just take it the way the Bible is written. See, many times we can say, "It mean this, this is what It means." God don't need any interpreter, He interprets His Own Word. See?

7    God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. That didn't need--need any interpretation. He... It happened just the way He said. He said, "A virgin shall conceive," and she did. That don't need any interpretation.

8    God has promised certain things for this age that's got to come to pass! He said it, it don't need interpretation then. God said so, and He interprets, Himself, so therefore the Bible said It's not without any private interpretation. God interprets His Own Word by vindicating It.

GOD IS IDENTIFIED BY HIS CHARACTERISTICS     BEAUMONT TX         64-0311    76
IDENTIFIED CHRIST OF ALL AGES V-13 N-1

17    Because, remember, one little misquoting of the Word, one (not all it, just not all of one verse), just one little iota of misbelieving the Word, caused every death, every sickness, every sorrow. That was Eve, in the garden of Eden. Now if all this cost that, for just one lady misunderstanding the Word... She, she didn't do it willfully, she was "deceived," the Bible said. "Deceived," by the Word, caused all this, then you and I are not going back with anything less than the entire Word.

18    Now, I believe, the Bible says that He won't, I don't believe God will judge the world by the Pentecostal church, by Methodist, Baptist, or Catholic. He'll judge it by Jesus Christ, He said so. And Christ is the Word, "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. The same yesterday, today, and forever."

19      The whole thing is the great Eternal. Eternity never did begin and never can end. Therefore, in this great Eternal One was attributes, to be Father, to be Son, to be Saviour, to be Healer, and all these things was in Him. And only thing that's happening now, is displaying His attributes. That's all.

20    Now, our names were put on the Lamb's Book of Life before the foundation of the world. And when the Word strikes that, if it's any light there that's been ordained to Life, Jesus said, "No man can come to Me except My Father draws, and all that My Father has given Me will come to Me." So, you see, it's the Word, constantly, the Word, the Word.

Now, He is the Word. He is this Bible made living. And when you die to yourself with Christ like a corn of wheat, then the Word lives in you, brings forth the same results as It did in that living Corn of Wheat that had to drop into the earth. Amen. You're partakers in His resurrection. You're partakers with Him in all of His blessings, in all of His manifestations. You're partakers with Him in all that He did.

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-23  SUNDAY_  61-1224

18-2    Now, He is the Word with It's true interpretation. Now, you say, "Oh, we believe the Bible, sir; we believe the Bible."

But now, if you believe the Bible, Jesus said this in the Bible, St. John 14:12: "He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also." That's the true interpretation of the Bible, for God Himself is in you speaking back His own interpretation. Glory. That's the true interpretation: God in you interpreting His own words. Amen.

Didn't Jesus say, "These signs shall follow them that believe"? God in you giving His own interpretation. You don't have to look to somebody else. Say, "The Word says this." Believe It, and It'll interpret Itself, because it's God using you to interpret His own Word. Amen. Christ is the living interpretation of His own Word.

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-23  SUNDAY_  61-1224

28      I might drop a little something here. Jesus said, in Matthew, 24th chapter, that "In the last days, the two spirits would be so close together till it would deceive the very elected if it was possible."

29    Now, that's just like looking at a right hand and a left hand. They both got thumbs, fingers, nails, small fingers, middle fingers, so forth, index, all are different fingers. They, both the thumbprints, only one's just turned one way and one the other, both the same print, made the same way, the thumbprints. Everything is identically alike, the only difference is the characteristic of it. One is a left hand and one is a right hand, that's the only difference.

30    And that's just the way the spirits will be in the last day, they will, just the characteristic of it will detect whether it is of God or not. One of them will be right and the other one will be wrong, you'll only know it by the characteristic of God. Just perfectly, it'll have to be that way. But right hand, we'd say is "right," and the left hand was "wrong," see, or vice versa, one of them. They're determined by their characteristics. Only can you know it by its characteristic.

IDENTIFIED CHRIST OF ALL AGES V-13 N-1

The Bible said He was the Word. We all agree with that, that He was the Word. Notice when He was twelve years of age. Now, we have no record of Him going to school. But a little twelve-year-old boy about so high, they, His parent, Mary and Joseph went up to the temple to... up to the... to worship at the passover. And while they were up there, they started back home after the passover, they had three-day's journey, and they could not find Jesus anywhere. And finally they found Him, after three days of looking for Him, in the temple, disputing the Word of God with those elders.

273    You say, "I'm a scholar. I do this, that, or the other." He don't care how much scholar you are. The devil is, too, see.

274    He only recognizes the--the Token. That's the Message of the hour! That's the Message of this day! That's the Message of this time! In the Name of Jesus Christ, receive It!

276    God is your joy. God is your strength. Knowing the Message, knowing the Truth, that's our sufficency now. He is my all-sufficiency. In Him, all things I have need of is in Him. That's our strength. "My help cometh from the Lord." You Christians, look to Him for your joy, look to Him for your strength, look for Him for your happiness. He is my peace. He is my joy. He is my love. He is my Life. That's a Covenant, the Token upon the door!

26-0213A_LIVING UNDER AUTHORITY

26-0213A_LIVING UNDER AUTHORITY

Luk 7:3  And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.
Luk 7:4  And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:
Luk 7:5  For he loveth our nation, and he hath built us a synagogue.
Luk 7:6  Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not thyself: for I am not worthy that thou shouldest enter under my roof:
Luk 7:7  Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto thee: but say in a word, and my servant shall be healed.
Luk 7:8  For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
Luk 7:9  When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

Mat 8:5  And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
Mat 8:6  And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
Mat 8:7  And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
Mat 8:8  The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
Mat 8:9  For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
Mat 8:10  When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

GOD REVEALING HIMSELF TO HIS PEOPLE         CLEVELAND OH_50-0813E   82

E-27    I knew that was the same Voice that spoke to me all along. That was the first time I'd ever seen It like that, but I knowed that Voice. He said, "Fear not. I am sent from the Presence of the Almighty God to tell you that your peculiar birth and peculiar life, been always misunderstood with men." Said, "Your peculiar life and peculiar birth has been to indicate that you're take a gift of Divine healing to the peoples of the world."

And I said, "Sir, I am uneducated. I could not go."

He said, "I'll be with you."

And I said, "Sir, I--I'm--I--I'm uneducated." I said, "I--I could not go. The people wouldn't believe me."

He said, "As the prophet Moses was given two signs, so will you be given two signs." Said, "First will be that you'll be able to detect diseases by your hand, taking the patient by the right hand to--in--in your left. And if you'll be sincere when you pray, get them to believe you and be sincere when you pray, nothing shall stand before your prayer, not even cancer." See, He spoke cancer. That's the only disease He said. And He said, "Then if you'll be sincere with that, it will come to pass that you will tell them the secrets of their heart." Said, "Them will be the two signs." And He said, "I'll..."

And I said, "I will go."

He said, "I will be with you."

WHO IS GOD?           CLEVELAND OH        50-0815_64_ATTITUDE AND WHO IS GOD?

Dealing with one at a time, I--I with those prayer cards, I--I just have to take one at a time. And here It comes through the different diseases. That only tells what's wrong with the person. But it's the faith in God that heals us. Believe the authority. Believe God. Look and live.

Mat 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Joh 10:18  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Mar 13:34  For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Mar 13:35  Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Mar 13:36  Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
Mar 13:37  And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Mar 16:17  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Mar 16:19  So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
Mar 16:20  And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

26-0209P_PURPOSE OF OUR BEING HERE IS TO EXPRESS CHRIST

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_  VICTORIA.BC  FRIDAY_  62-0727

E-32    Now, when Jesus was here on earth, He said to them that did not believe Him... He was an ordinary man, and He called Himself God. They said, "When You make Yourself equal with God we know you're mad (And the word 'mad' there, of course, we understand means 'crazy.') and you're crazy. You are a Samaritan. You've got a devil," and so forth.

But Jesus said, "Search the Scriptures, for in Them you think you have Eternal Life, and They are They that testify of Me. They are They that bear witness of Me." "Testify" is "to bear witness."

When you go to a trial to be a witness, you're testifying for somebody. See? And Jesus said, "The Scriptures are They that bear record of Me." Then He was God's Word expressed in human flesh. You see it? God's promise made flesh to express Itself, that's what Christ was, the Word of God expressed in human form. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

Again He said to them, "If I do not the works of My Father, then believe Me not. But though you don't believe Me, believe the works." See, that's God expressing Himself through the flesh. He was God made flesh, the Word, living Word.

HUMBLE.THYSELF_  JEFF.IN  V-21 N-1  SUNDAY_  63-0714E

103      Look at Jesus, nothing but one bundle of love. See? He was God manifested. He, God, expressed Himself through Him, no wonder miracles and things happened. His humble life, and consecrated life; to come from being God, to be a man here on earth, to express God through Himself. That's what made Him what He was. I've always said, "What made Jesus God, to me, was the way He humbled Himself. He was so great, and yet could be so small." See? That's right.

WE WOULD SEE JESUSVICTORIA BC         62-0727   113

E-35    It's too bad that the things of the world has so captured the church in these days. And Satan had a rude way of doing it, to bring in the televisions right into the homes, and things, and corrupting the minds of the people, and till today that--that a great percent of the church that call themselves Christians will stay home from prayer meeting on a Wednesday night to get to see some favorite program of somebody from Hollywood, or somewhere, that oughtn't to even be put out on the screen, maybe living with three or four husbands, or wives, and carrying on, and living all kinds of lives, go out on drunk parties, and smoking, and lying, and everything that can be done that's wrong.

THINGS THAT ARE TO BERIALTO CA         65-1205   123V-4 N-6

33      Now, if we are those attributes of God, we cannot live by creeds. We cannot live by denominationalism. We must live by the Word, because the Bride is a part of the Bridegroom, like any wife is a part of her husband. Therefore, we must be that Word Bride. And what is that Word Bride? The manifestation of this hour, the Bride, not a creed or a denomination; but a living oracle of God, a living attribute of God, displaying to the world the attributes of God, in the formation of the Bride that's to be expressed in this hour that we're now living.

A TESTIMONY UPON THE SEA_PORT ALBERNI BC     62-0726   111_IT IS I, BE NOT AFRAID

E-18    Now, character... Always you... All you people of the church of God, live good, live right. People's watching the way you're living. And if there's anything that's a hindrance to Christianity today, is the way that professed Christians live: dishonest, dishonorable, and living any way. Don't do that. We are Christians.

Somebody's watching your life, correctly. Be honest. Let everybody know. Let your dealings be fair and square, and--and--and don't take nothing doesn't belong to you. Don't say nothing but what's the truth. And you can always tell the truth every time, and God will honor the truth. And always do what's right. Treat everybody right. If they don't treat you right, you treat them right anyhow. See? Jesus treated us right when we didn't treat Him right. And His Spirit in us...
