Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

E-19 Notice, now Ezekiel is speaking; he said how that He would put a new heart (same chapter), take away the old stony heart, and He'd give you a new spirit. And then He'd put His Spirit in you.
Now, the new heart does not mean work up the old one. It doesn't mean that the church needs a face-lifting. It means the church needs a birth. God's church don't need a polishing; it needs a conversion. That's right. Then just to take the old church and set, say, "Well, I tell you, we'll change the deacon board. We'll swap pastors."
That isn't what the church needs. It needs the baptism of the Holy Ghost. It needs the power of the living God.

E-37 When you get this Spirit in you, then the--the burdens of life becomes light. You don't notice them any more. The yoke is lined with feathers. They become so easy. And then the people pile things on you... You know what? You're like Samson at the gates of Gaza, who picked up the big brass gate and packed it up on the hill.
And when you get to a place that the Holy Spirit has you, not you the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit has you... You say, "I got the Holy Ghost." I don't think that should be said. You must say, "The Holy Ghost got me." And then when the Holy Ghost gets you, the burdens, the yoke is easy. Then you pick up the big gates of Gaza and pack them straight to Calvary. And there on Mount Calvary you lay them at the feet of Jesus and pray for your enemies, not with a grudge, "Lord if You'd bust him open." No, but with something within your heart that, "Dear God, that man is a man like I am." You see what's lacking in the church, friend? Now, what we need is a... We need to be--start all over.

E-52 Today there is so much based upon intellectual. There's so much based in Pentecostal, upon fantastics, upon emotions. Now, don't take a substitute when Pentecostal skies are loaded with the real thing. Don't take some little emotions, some little work up, some little oil falling from your hands, or a bloody face, don't take these little emotions when the whole skies of God is full of real genuine Pentecostal blessings. He will give you a new heart, a new spirit, and put His Spirit in you.
AN EXPOSITION OF THE SEVEN CHURCH AGES - THE MESSENGER
I Timothy 4:1,
"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils."
Now in every case you will notice that a false prophet is one who is outside the Word. Just as we showed you that 'antichrist' means 'anti-Word' so these false prophets come perverting the Word, giving it a meaning that fits their own devilish ends. Have you ever noticed how the people who lead others astray bind them closely to themselves by fear? They say that if the people don't do what they say, or if they leave, then destruction will follow. They are false prophets, for a true prophet will always lead one to the Word and bind the people to Jesus Christ and he won't tell the people to fear him or what he says, but to fear what the Word says. Notice how these people like Judas are out for money. They get you to sell all you have and give it to them and their schemes. They spend more time on offerings than the Word. Those who attempt to operate gifts will make use of a gift which has a margin of error in it and then ask for money, and neglect the Word and call it of God. And people will go to them, and bear with them, and support them, and believe them, not knowing it is the way of death.

E-34 Now, when you receive the Holy Spirit It goes right in the middle of that new dispensa--disposition of yours. "Oh," you say, "I quit drinking; I quit smoking. You know, I--I--I just feel like a different person." Oops. Wait a minute. See, you just got a new spirit, but the Holy Spirit comes into the middle of that spirit and then He makes you every--every main motion, every intellectual, everything agreeing right into this middle of the wheel. What God says, that's... [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] If the days of miracles,... If Jesus is the same yesterday and forever, the Holy Spirit would bear record with that, and every intellectual move of yours will say the same thing.
And when you have these little temper fits and you fly out, and you tell lies, and you proselyte, and you jump the fences, and you so selfish with your organization that you're so narrow minded you couldn't hear another minister, just remember, the Holy Spirit isn't ticking in the inside of you. Whew. I didn't know I was going to say that, but--but that's right. See?
E-35 The Holy Spirit will make every movement like Christ. It'll make you Christ-like. The fruits of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, goodness, meekness, gentleness, patience, faith. Those things are what the Holy Spirit controls, our emotions.
Our emotions is not so much as jumping up-and-down. You could do that. A shindig will bring that to you. But the Holy Spirit brings you into operation, or in control of God, that you walk in peace and in love and in joy with longsuffering, goodness, meekness, gentleness, patience. You see? It isn't something that you do. It's something the Holy Spirit does in you. You see, it's no longer an intellectual thought of your own; it's a subconscious moving of the Holy Spirit. Oh, I wish I could shout the praises of God around the world to that.
Church of the living God, there's where our Pentecostal move failed. We have some man-made musical, clap hands, jump up-and-down emotion. When if we go back out on the street and the Holy Spirit doesn't govern our lives to cooperate with that, we have not got the Holy Spirit. That's not skim milk. But, brother, that's what the church needs. Only life can come by the Holy Spirit.
WHY IS IT THAT SO MANY CHRISTIANS FIND IT SO HARD TO LIVE THE CHRISTIAN LIFE?PHX 57-0303A 100A NEW HEART PHOENIX AZ
E-27 Now, many people's thought that to be the Holy Spirit. And they made a mistake. The Methodist thought surely they had it when they shouted. Said, "Brother, we got it." Anybody that shouts, but they found out, there was a lot shouted didn't have it. That's right.
Along come the Pentecostal and said, "When we speak with tongues we've got it." But they found out a lot spoke with tongues that didn't have it. That's right. You admit that.
Well, now we got all kinds of everything for coming, and you haven't got It, till you get it. But brother, you haven't got it until there is the Spirit of God comes from heaven and changes your life, that makes the fruits of your life a different person. "By their fruit you shall know them." That's the reason you have so much ups-and-downs.
Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Joh 1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
Joh 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
Joh 1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
Joh 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Joh 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Mar 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Mar 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

6And now bring your Bible, bring a pencil,
set down the text. Go, seek them out, check them with the Word and see if
they're right or not. See? And then don't take your own theology, just take it
the way the Bible is written. See, many times we can say, "It mean this,
this is what It means." God don't need any interpreter, He interprets His
Own Word. See?
7God said, "Let there be light,"
and there was light. That didn't need--need any interpretation. He... It
happened just the way He said. He said, "A virgin shall conceive,"
and she did. That don't need any interpretation.
8God has promised certain things for this
age that's got to come to pass! He said it, it don't need interpretation then.
God said so, and He interprets, Himself, so therefore the Bible said It's not
without any private interpretation. God interprets His Own Word by vindicating
It.
GOD IS IDENTIFIED BY HIS CHARACTERISTICS BEAUMONT TX 64-0311 76 IDENTIFIED CHRIST OF ALL AGES V-13 N-1
17Because, remember, one little misquoting of
the Word, one (not all it, just not all of one verse), just one little iota of
misbelieving the Word, caused every death, every sickness, every sorrow. That
was Eve, in the garden of Eden. Now if all this cost that, for just one lady
misunderstanding the Word... She, she didn't do it willfully, she was
"deceived," the Bible said. "Deceived," by the Word, caused
all this, then you and I are not going back with anything less than the entire
Word.
18Now, I believe, the Bible says that He
won't, I don't believe God will judge the world by the Pentecostal church, by
Methodist, Baptist, or Catholic. He'll judge it by Jesus Christ, He said so.
And Christ is the Word, "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. The
same yesterday, today, and forever."
19The whole thing is the great Eternal.
Eternity never did begin and never can end. Therefore, in this great Eternal
One was attributes, to be Father, to be Son, to be Saviour, to be Healer, and
all these things was in Him. And only thing that's happening now, is displaying
His attributes. That's all.
20Now, our names were put on the Lamb's Book
of Life before the foundation of the world. And when the Word strikes that, if
it's any light there that's been ordained to Life, Jesus said, "No man can
come to Me except My Father draws, and all that My Father has given Me will
come to Me." So, you see, it's the Word, constantly, the Word, the Word.
Now, He is the Word. He is this
Bible made living. And when you die to yourself with Christ like a corn of
wheat, then the Word lives in you, brings forth the same results as It did in
that living Corn of Wheat that had to drop into the earth. Amen. You're
partakers in His resurrection. You're partakers with Him in all of His
blessings, in all of His manifestations. You're partakers with Him in all that
He did.
18-2Now, He is the Word with
It's true interpretation. Now, you say, "Oh, we believe the Bible, sir; we
believe the Bible."
But now, if you believe the
Bible, Jesus said this in the Bible, St. John 14:12: "He that believeth on
Me, the works that I do shall he do also." That's the true interpretation
of the Bible, for God Himself is in you speaking back His own interpretation.
Glory. That's the true interpretation: God in you interpreting His own words.
Amen.
Didn't Jesus say, "These
signs shall follow them that believe"? God in you giving His own
interpretation. You don't have to look to somebody else. Say, "The Word
says this." Believe It, and It'll interpret Itself, because it's God using
you to interpret His own Word. Amen. Christ is the living interpretation of His
own Word.
28I might drop a little
something here. Jesus said, in Matthew, 24th chapter, that "In the last
days, the two spirits would be so close together till it would deceive the very
elected if it was possible."
29Now, that's just like looking at a right
hand and a left hand. They both got thumbs, fingers, nails, small fingers,
middle fingers, so forth, index, all are different fingers. They, both the
thumbprints, only one's just turned one way and one the other, both the same
print, made the same way, the thumbprints. Everything is identically alike, the
only difference is the characteristic of it. One is a left hand and one is a
right hand, that's the only difference.
30And that's just the way the spirits will be
in the last day, they will, just the characteristic of it will detect whether
it is of God or not. One of them will be right and the other one will be wrong,
you'll only know it by the characteristic of God. Just perfectly, it'll have to
be that way. But right hand, we'd say is "right," and the left hand
was "wrong," see, or vice versa, one of them. They're determined by
their characteristics. Only can you know it by its characteristic.

The Bible said He was the Word.
We all agree with that, that He was the Word. Notice when He was twelve years
of age. Now, we have no record of Him going to school. But a little
twelve-year-old boy about so high, they, His parent, Mary and Joseph went up to
the temple to... up to the... to worship at the passover. And while they were
up there, they started back home after the passover, they had three-day's
journey, and they could not find Jesus anywhere. And finally they found Him,
after three days of looking for Him, in the temple, disputing the Word of God
with those elders.

and you're crazy. You are a Samaritan. You've got a devil," and so forth.
But Jesus said, "Search the

is "to bear witness."
When you go to a trial to be a
witness, you're testifying for somebody. See? And Jesus said, "The
Scriptures are They that bear record of Me." Then He was God's Word
expressed in human flesh. You see it? God's promise made flesh to express

was made flesh and dwelt among us.
Again He said to them, "If I

GHOST IS FOR...IT’S TO UNITE US TOGETHER WITH POWER. IT’S TO UNITE US TOGETHER
WITH LOVE, BROTHERLY LOVE.
WHAT.WAS.THE.HOLY.GHOST.GIVEN.FOR?_59-1217
111 ....The Holy Ghost will
follow God’s Word to the letter.
And a
preacher behind the pulpit, that ain’t got grace enough to preach It, I doubt
he’s got It. That’s just exactly! Well, that’s what
the Holy Ghost is for.
112It’s to give
unction to the preacher. It’s to give holiness to the group. It’s to set the
Church in order. It’s to bring a unity of Spirit. It’s to unite us together
with Power. It’s to unite us together with love, brotherly love.
*...BEING JOINED TOGETHER
WITH GODLY LOVE, FEAR OF GOD, REVERENCE IN OUR HEART TO ONE ANOTHER, DEEP
RESPECT TO ONE ANOTHER, BROTHERLY AND SISTERLY KINDNESS...
61-1Let's study it. Let's add to our faith these things then,
that we might come in the full statue of Christ, being
joined together with godly love, fear of God, reverence in our heart to one
another, deep respect to one another, brotherly and sisterly kindness, never
vulgarity, nothing but just the purity of Holy Ghost living. See? Live together, be a Christian; walk with faith; let the
virtue of God flow through you. Let the knowledge of God when it comes
to right and wrong... When the devil presents
something that's not exactly Scripture, walk away from it. That's right.
*THEN THEY'RE WAITING FOR THE HEADSTONE
WHICH IS LOVE; FOR GOD IS LOVE, AND HE CONTROLS, AND HE IS THE STRENGTH OF
EVERY ONE OF THESE THINGS.
47-1Now, in building the virtue,
building this monument, building this statue (See?), it starts off and the
foundation that's on faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, godliness,
brotherly kindness. Now, what's it do? Then they're
waiting for the Headstone which is love; for God is love, and He controls, and
He is the Strength of every one of these things. Yes, sir. Right in
here. Right in here. See, I got in between all these works in here, and here
there's little waves coming. What is that? The Holy
Ghost coming down through Christ (See?), Holy
Spirit. The Holy Spirit is above all this,
welding this together, building a what? A perfect
church for the capstone to cap it off. What's it been done again? It's manifested through seven church ages and seven church
messengers.
*“FAITH WORKETH BY LOVE.” AND
THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU CAN HAVE FAITH, IS HAVE LOVE FIRST.
DESPERATIONS_63-0901E
68Now the Word plainly states, if
you want to put this down, in Galatians 5:6, that, “Faith
worketh by love.” See? “Faith worketh by love.” And the only way that you can
have faith, is have love first. Because, after all, faith is love’s incentive. Incentive, that’s
exactly what—what faith is. It’s an incentive to love. Now, you, if you don’t have love, you can’t have faith. See?
69 How
can you have faith in your wife if you don’t love her? That’s in phileo. Now
how about in agapao, to God? How can it be if you don’t love God?
If you said you loved
your wife, and never tell her about it, and never set down and make love to
her, expressed it to her, kiss her, hug her, and tell her she’s the best cook
in the country, all the things that you know, and how pretty she is, and how
much you love her; if you don’t do that, she’ll never know it. That’s the way.
If you do love her, you express it.
70 That’s
the way we do to God. When we love Him, we tell Him
about it. We set down and we adore Him, and worship Him. And, see, love drives
us to that.
*...BUT IF THOSE GIFTS ARE
NOT GOVERNED BY LOVE, THEN THEY ARE NOT EFFECTIVE.
16 And I
think if one thing is needed in the great, universal Church of God tonight is
love. We do not need other things as much as we think we do. And all these other things, our
emotions and our gifts, they are wonderful, and to God we give praise, but if those gifts are not governed by love, then they
are not effective.
*IF GOD IS IN YOU, THE TOKEN
INSIDE OF YOU, AND YOU SEE THE CONDITIONS OF TIMES, AND PEOPLE WADING IN SIN
THE WAY THEY ARE, IT’LL THROW YOU INTO DESPERATION.
DESPERATIONS_63-0901E
67 I believe that the reason we
don’t have desperation is because it’s a lack of love, God, the love of God. I think that the
love of God causes desperation. If God is in you, the Token inside of you, and
you see the conditions of times, and people wading in sin the way they are,
it’ll throw you into desperation. I believe it will.
E-14Love is a powerful force. It'll run a woman, a mother,
right into the flames of fire after her baby, if she knows she's plunging
herself to death. There's nothing more strong than
love. Love
will make you trust. You might go and know that you belong to the greatest
church in all the provinces of Canada. You might know that you're the charter
member of the greatest church in the nation. And then you would do things that
you would not do if you belonged to a little mission somewhere in some corner
and had the love of God in your heart.
Love has
no fear. Love casts out fear. And I notice in my
meetings, so much that when I come into the people... One
of the great things I find among them is fear. And what makes fear is lack of
confidence. If you lack confidence it'll make you fear. But if you love, it casts away that fear. And
that's the way God wants His Church, not so many as charter members; He wants members that's loyal, and loves, and believes,
and has confidence in Him.
*GODLY LOVE DOESN'T QUESTION. HUMAN LOVE REASONS, BUT GODLY
LOVE DOESN'T. IT'S PERFECT IN ITS TRUST.
E-6.....There's two different types of love. And I'm almost sure
that many of us has been deceived with having phileo love and thinking it's
Agapao love. Phileo love is intellectual; Agapao
love comes from the heart. That's human love, affectionately love, and
godly love. Godly love doesn't question. Human love
reasons, but godly love doesn't. It's perfect in its trust. It's
perfect... It just produces faith when you really
love.
*WHEN THE LOVE OF CHRIST
COMES INTO YOUR HEART, YOU WOULDN'T DO NOTHING TO HURT HIM.
E-17And I tell you, brother, when
the love of God comes into the human heart, it'll drive all these things; you
don't have to worry about smoking, drinking, and running to bioscopes. When the
love of Christ comes into your heart, you wouldn't do nothing to hurt Him. Not
walking around, saying, "They're narrow-minded, and they're this way and
that way." Just let the love of God strike you
once, those things die. Your whole affections is placed on Christ. You
got Eternal Life then, when you believe Him, when
you really believe Him, and get married to Him, and die out to the things of
the world.
*CHRIST IN THE PERSON OF THE HOLY GHOST
COMES UPON YOU IN THE TRUE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST, AND YOU GOT ALL THESE
VIRTUES SEALED IN YOU…
48-1See, these fellows wasn't
required, what these fellows was. This wasn't required what this was. See, but
He brought His church up the same way. He brought
His--His church up the same way he's bringing His people up. Then Peter
here says first (seven things) faith, virtue (See, coming up), knowledge,
temperance, patience, godliness, brotherly love, and brotherly kindness and
then the love of God, the Holy Ghost. Christ in the
Person of the Holy Ghost comes upon you in the true baptism of the Holy Ghost,
and you got all these virtues sealed in you, then God lives in a tabernacle
called the building, the living Tabernacle of the living God's dwelling place.
2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
Jdg 6:15 And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.
1Co 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
1Co 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Rom 12:10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
But did you ever... Let me just
give you... If I have found grace in your sight through God, you take my word
for this, brethren. If you want to be a blessing, and get a blessing, when a
man has done you wrong, and he has absolutely justly, he... I mean he has done
you wrong and you know that he's done you wrong; he's done you evil. Don't
mention that; you take him to prayer before God. And don't take it in a way of
just a selfish and say, "Well, I'm supposed to do this." But stand
with your shoulder to his shoulder, and stand in the Presence of God our
Father, way a prayer should be made in the Presence of God, say, "Father,
here's my brother, and he--he is justly; he deserves punishment because he
has--he's done me evil. And I don't see why he did it."
45-3All right. Coming in to perfection now...
All right. Then sixthly, let's add, the Bible said here, adding brotherly
love--brotherly kindness. Now, that's a good one. Right here, the sixth
one--seventh. All right, adding brotherly kindness. All right. When we get to
that, brotherly kindness, put yourself in his place on the matter. Now, you
say, "My brother sinned against me," said Peter, "Shall I
forgive him?" He said, "Seven times a day?"
He said, "Seventy times
seven." See, brotherly kindness. Now, you see, if a brother's all out of
tune, don't be impatient with him. See? No. See? Be kind to him. Go anyhow.
SHALOM_SIERRA.VISTA.AZV-13 N-5SUNDAY_64-0112
Maybe sometime man get up real
sharp; but if I got one thought that I didn't like that person, then--then I
know one thing, the Spirit of Christ has departed from me. If I--if I can feel
that I don't like that person, there's something wrong with me.
A.SUPER.SENSE_JEFF.INV-20 N-7SUNDAY_59-1227E
And don't love only those who
love you, but love those who do not love you. For it's easy for me to love
anybody that loves me, but try to love somebody who doesn't love you. That's
where you can test whether you're a Christian or not; somebody that don't love
you, and yet in your heart you love them... Now, if you don't do that, then
just keep holding onto God. It's there, 'cause I know it to be the truth. Amen.
I know that it's the truth.
A.SUPER.SENSE_JEFF.INV-20 N-7SUNDAY_59-1227E
Now, don't you listen to one foul thing the devil's got to say. See? If
the devil shows you some, or tells you something evil about one of the members
of the body of Christ, don't you believe it. For as soon as you believe it, you
mar your experience.
A.SUPER.SENSE_JEFF.INV-20 N-7SUNDAY_59-1227E
36And if you see one of the
members of the Body of Christ doing something evil, don't tell nobody else; but
go to that member, and with love, and see if you can't bring them back to
Christ again. And if you can't do it, then tell one person, or let them go with
you. Do it the way the Scripture said. See? But don't...
If somebody said, "Sister
So-and-so, or Brother So-and-so," don't you believe one word of it. You
just leave it go. Because, remember, it's the devil trying to tear you to pieces.
Now, just look for him to come in, 'cause he'll do it. Now, you let the good
man of the house, faith, stand right there, and don't you receive one thing.
These people have been set in heavenly places with you, fellowship together
around the blessings of God, taking the communion at the table, and the Holy
Spirit has witnessed that they are the children of God. So let's just be real
sweet, kindhearted, forgiving, loving. And if the other person talks evil
against you, you talk sweet against them. Watch how sweeter it comes to you
then. See? That's right. Just always return good for evil, love for hate. And
just...
TAKING.SIDES.WITH.JESUS_ JEFF.INCODFRIDAY_62-0601
There's many times that a
minister will make a mistake. And if he comes into a neighborhood, a precious
brother who's trying to do what's right and to lead the people right,
everything that the devil can point to the unbeliever or the so-called
Christian in that neighborhood to throw off on that man, he'll do it. You know,
the real Christian way is to hide everything you can from a brother. Don't tell
his bad things; just tell his good things. Just tell what you know about him
that's good. If anything's bad, let it alone. The poor fellow's got enough
against him anyhow. Don't try to take a pole and shove a man further into the
ditch. The Christian attitude is to pick him up and take him out of the ditch.
See? Don't never try to shove him down; he's down already. Try to help him up.
And... But too many of us today, too many people today, I might say, try to do
that. If they could just get something another that they could say that was
real bad.
TOKEN_JEFF.INV-2 N-19SUNDAY_63-0901M
When we see these things upon the
earth today, oh, people, this is the last hour. Get that Token over you,
quickly as you can; or, you get in the Token, get in the Token. As we see the
great end sign, and the time at hand, warning us, "Time is at hand."
TOKEN_JEFF.INV-2 N-19SUNDAY_63-0901M
243Oh, take this solemnly!
We should love one another. Oh, my! We should be so in love! Don't never speak
evil against one another. If somebody makes a mistake, pray for him right
quick. We are together in this, with God. We are brothers and sisters. Oh, live
godly. Live, live like daughters of God, live like sons of God. Live sweet,
kind, humble.
244Let no evil come in your mind, in your
thinking. Just, just dismiss it. If it knocks on the door, take it away. Just
say, just show your Token, just keep walking, "I am under the Blood!"
If it ever gets to a place that I
couldn't put my arm around any brother that's working for the Kingdom of God,
and recognize him as my brother, I feel I'm backslid. Amen. Sure.
And when you separate from Divine
love, then you can't overlook your brother's mistakes no more. You got to bawl
him out for it. That's right. You can't overlook sister's mistakes no more.
Because you've got away from that Divine part, that love part. But if you
really love the Lord Jesus, if sister or brother, does something to you,
"Oh, well, that's all right, they didn't mean to do it." That's the
kind of love that Christ had, "Father, forgive them; they don't know what
they're doing."
BLASPHEMOUS.NAMES_JEFF.INV-3 N-21SUNDAY_62-1104M
Now, you might say, "Look,
I--I--I sure don't like Brother Neville," or, "I sure don't like
Brother Jones; I don't like Brother So-and-so," and something like that.
But just let something happen to him; brother, your heart's broke. It just
nearly kills you. See? We can obtain brotherly kindness and feeling for one
another. See? But to maintain in a group of people...
Why do you care for that brother?
Because you broke bread with him here at the altar, as you will tonight; you
fellowship with him; you shook his hands; you worship with him. He's your
brother. And he might do something in the flesh that you would disagree with,
cause you just kind of stay (which you oughtn't to do but)--shun him a little.
But in the bottom of your heart, if something happened to that brother, it would
just nearly kill you, or that sister.
again." See? See, it's
brotherly love. It looks like it won't stick, but it does stick. The honey, it
sticks.
Mat 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Rom 12:11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Rom 12:12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
Rom 12:13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
1Jn 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 1Jn 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
Gal 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Gal 5:14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Gal 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
