25-1017A_THE STATURE OF A PERFECT MAN PT-22 (IT'S GOD IN YOU THAT MAKES IT PERFECT)

25-1017A_THE STATURE OF A PERFECT MAN PT-22 (IT'S GOD IN YOU THAT MAKES IT PERFECT)

2Pe 1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Pe 1:2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
2Pe 1:3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2Pe 1:5  And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;
2Pe 1:6  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;
2Pe 1:7  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.
2Pe 1:8  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2Pe 1:9  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
2Pe 1:10  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Col 1:26  Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
Col 1:27  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Rom 6:6  Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
Rom 6:7  For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Rom 6:8  Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Rom 6:9  Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

2Co 4:1  Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
2Co 4:2  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
2Co 4:3  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
2Co 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
2Co 4:5  For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.
2Co 4:6  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2Co 4:7  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
2Co 4:8  We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
2Co 4:9  Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
2Co 4:10  Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
2Co 4:11  For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
2Co 4:12  So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

Rom 8:8  So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Rom 8:9  But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Rom 8:10  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
Rom 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Rom 8:12  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
Rom 8:13  For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

*AND IF GOD REQUIRED A CHURCH WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE, HE HAD TO HAVE SOMETHING TO MAKE IT THAT WAY.

THE.PERFECTION_  JEFF.IN  ER 35-54  FRIDAY_  57-0419

   37    …..No man can come to this Lamb, except God draws him first. You see God's sovereignty? Oh, I hope this soaks way down deep now. Look. God knowed He had sheep in this world. He knowed He was going to have people to be saved, and His love looked down and seen those who would be saved; therefore, by foreknowledge He predestinated a Church to meet Him yonder without spot or wrinkle. And if God required a Church without spot or wrinkle, He had to have something to make it that way. He could not require His justice... His judgments could not let Him ask such a thing if there wasn't a way to make it.

THE.PERFECTION_  JEFF.IN  ER 35-54  FRIDAY_  57-0419

  39    And man cannot do it in himself. He's a total failure. God let him see that through the law, through the judges, and through all the Old Testament. He sent the prophet; He sent the righteous man, and they found out that every one failed. So God by His sovereign grace sent from the portals of glory His only begotten Son to take our place.

*IT'S A CONFESSION OF YOUR WRONG, AND GOD'S GRACE TO YOU. THAT BRINGS YOU TO PERFECTION, AND THEN YOU ARE PERFECTED IN JESUS CHRIST.

THE.PERFECTION_  JEFF.IN  ER 35-54  FRIDAY_  57-0419

  77    What is it? Oh, God requires perfection. He requires your repentance. He requires your loyalty to Him. But He's looking tonight. No matter how much you've sinned, how little or how much, you are still a sinner, and cannot get in no other way but by Jesus Christ, God's all-sufficient Sacrifice. And in Him you are perfected forever. Think of it.

It's not nothing you do. It's not new pages you turn. It's not a new life you start. It's a confession of your wrong, and God's grace to you. That brings you to perfection, and then you are perfected in Jesus Christ.

*… HE WENT AWAY, AND THE SPIRIT COME IN THAT, THAT THROUGH HIS DEATH HE MIGHT PERFECT THE CHURCH AND BRING THE CHURCH SUBMISSIVE.

HEBREWS.CHAPTER.FIVE.AND.SIX.1_  JEFF.IN  HEB  SUNDAY_  57-0908M

  91      Now, but, God then became in another type of a tabernacle. And that tabernacle was who? Jesus. And God was inside of Jesus, and He was hid, but He was reconciling the world to Himself, by His expressions. Christ revealed God. He said, "It's not Me that doeth the works. It's My Father that dwelleth in Me. I do nothing in Myself but what I see the Father doing. The Father in Me, showing Me these visions, and then I go do just what the Father told Me to do." You get it? God was inside of a human body, not behind goatskins dyed, but was living, moving. God had hands; God had feet; God had tongue; God had eyes; and it was Christ. There He was.

92    Now, He went away, and the Spirit come in that, that through His death He might perfect the Church and bring the Church submissive. And then the same Spirit that was in Christ is in the Church, doing the same things Christ did. "A little while and the world won't see Me no more; yet ye shall see Me, for I'll be with you, even in you, to the end of the world."

*…HE'D PUT SOME IN THE CHURCH, PROPHETS, SOME WITH GIFTS AND SO FORTH, TO--TO BRING THE CHURCH TOGETHER, TO PERFECT THE CHURCH, AND TO KEEP YOU IN HARMONY AND LOVING ONE ANOTHER

SIRS.WE.WOULD.SEE.JESUS_  PHOENIX.AZ  TUESDAY_  57-0226

  E-59    Everything of God... Now, just think of this. Everything of God is a finished work. It's finished, everything. Healing, salvation, everything's a finished work, done finished. Now, the only thing it is, is our personal faith in that finished work. If that ain't the Scripture, I don't know it. That's our personal faith in a finished work. Now, we draw the remunerations of our--of His--of His death at Calvary by our personal faith in what He died for. He was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes we're healed.

Now, God, first He told that in the Bible. That should settle it forever, but not with God. He said He'd put some in the church, prophets, some with gifts and so forth, to--to bring the church together, to perfect the church, and to keep you in harmony and loving one another, and moving on with faith knowing that He's raised from the dead. He'd do the same thing through His Church that He did then. Then He's obligated to that Word. Is that right?

*HE'S BUILT A COMPLETE CHURCH IN HIS IMAGE.

THE.STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-18  SUNDAY_  62-1014M

  52-2    Isn't that wonderful? And then God, through that, has brought also seven church ages to show the seven steps that He brought building His individual into His image. He's built a complete church in His image. And at the resurrection this complete Body will be raised up to live with Him forever, because it is a Bride. See? So that cuts in every age, every age that comes.

*HE WENT AWAY, AND THE SPIRIT COME IN THAT, THAT THROUGH HIS DEATH HE MIGHT PERFECT THE CHURCH AND BRING THE CHURCH SUBMISSIVE.

*… NOW YOU'RE BUILT UP IN TO A LIVELY HOUSE.

THE.STATURE.OF.A.PERFECT.MAN_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-18  SUNDAY_  62-1014M

  58-7    Peter said, "And because you have escaped the corruption of the world through the lust of money, and lust of big times, and pleasure, and the eating, and drinking, and lust that we have, you've escaped that; and now you're built up in to a lively house. I'm addressing that to the church," he said. There you are. Did you read it? Did you get it? Did you hear it when we read it back here? In II Peter, just listen what he says here; how beautiful that's wrote in here, how he--he addresses it. All right listen to him now as he speaks. All right.

Peter--Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

... peace be--be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and through Jesus Christ our Lord,

According as--as His Divine power has given unto us all things... (Who's going to inherit the earth and all things? Sure pertaineth... Yeah, all right.)... that pertaineth unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory unto glory:

Whereby are we given to the exceeding great precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the Divine nature, having escaped the corruption... (Listen to that.)... that is in the world through lust.
