E-6 Now, let's look what they had back there, what
that Church contended for, what they had lost. Now, just thirty-three
years after the beginning of the Church...
Now,
you know Jude wouldn't be talking about back in the Old Testament under the
Levitical laws. See? 'Cause they were... this... He's a Christian. He was talking about when the first Church was set in order,
was inaugurated on the day of Pentecost.
And
now, we'll notice what kind of a faith that they had. They
had a faith in a resurrected living Christ, someone who'd rose from the dead
and was living among them, just the same as He was before He ever died.
Now, that... See, they wasn't contending for some historical affair, but they were contending for a--a living Christ, a
resurrected One Who was in their midst.

these last days these signs would take place. The things that He did would be
done again before the coming of the Lord.

ever failed. You got a bunch of fantastics. So was
those priests. Do you understand what I'm meaning? Those preachers, prophets
with them horns butting around, "Oh, THUS SAITH THE LORD, THUS SAITH THE
LORD." But it didn't cope with the Scripture. See? But when it's
absolutely coping with the Scripture, it has to come to pass.

power, but He never took it away from the church. I can show you where He give
it to the church, you show me where He took it away. You've got the power,
but you don't know how to use it. You're not reverent enough. That's the reason
you all speaking with tongues, you just use it any way.
Ever--every... Some be speaking in tongues; others doing this, and... just like
a Babylon. Don't to that. Put those things in their places. Put
all your gifts in there, you're teachers, you're apostles. Put everything in it's
place, and then operate in decency and in order. You'll find God is a God of
order, and He will bring the thing right up then.

81 That's what the church,
if it's in order (set in order), it only... it's got the mechanics ready, it
only needs then the dynamics. Tonight, if we'll get the
mechanics ready, get our hearts right, the things that we can do, follow every
Word, follow Him in baptism, follow Him in every order that
He told us to do, get every mechanic ready, and stand there; then we're ready for the
dynamics to be lit off, and only God can do that; and that's to drop into your
heart that faith that says, "I am now healed." Then don't make any
difference what circumstances is, you're healed anyhow; 'cause
it's faith, by faith you're healed.
*A TRUE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL MOVE RIGHT
WITH THE WORD, FOR HE'S THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER.

this con... How can they believe when the Bible has done said they can't
believe? How can we stop all that nonsense that's going on around in the land? How can we do it when
God said it would be? Well, then you say, "Which is
right and wrong?" Like Micaiah was, with the Bible. A true Spirit of God
will move right with the Word, for He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.
*AND THAT'S WHAT I'M TRYING TO GIVE YOU:
HIS WORD, HIS PROMISE. AND YOU'RE GETTING IT IN YOUR HEART, AND THE HOLY GHOST
IS BROODING OVER IT.

E-37 Oh, God, He sent His Word. And that's what I'm trying to give you: His Word,
His promise. He prepared it at Calvary. He prepared
the Sacrifice for your healing this morning. He's got it here and He watches
over it. And you're getting it in your heart, and the Holy Ghost
is brooding over it. It'll take Life and produce just exactly what God
said it would produce. Every word will produce just exactly
what it promised, 'cause God has provided it.
And God is so set in order, that one day, through all the
types, back through Adam, through Eve, on down through the prophets, down
through Abraham He set in order; He put it all in the Old Testament, showing
what He was going to do. And He finished it at Calvary when He
sent Jesus, Who was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquity,
the chastisement of our peace upon Him, with His stripes we were healed. He finished it at
Calvary.
Psa 119:133 Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Psa 119:134 Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
