42And while we are enjoying these blessings, each one feeling His
Presence, and saying, "Amen. Praise God! Hallelujah!" so forth, in that we can remember the One that brought it to us and

Him. I think that's what, many times, that maybe we enjoy so many blessings,
that we forget just where they come from.
43One time I was amazed. Went with a bunch of Christians of a certain
church, and they set down to eat, and never returned thanks to God, for their
food. Well, I thought it was kind of strange. And I went to another house, and
they, still, they just went ahead and eat. And I--I questioned it. And they
said, "Oh, well. That's just... God just provides that, anyhow. See?"
44I said, "It reminds me of a hog under a apple tree, you know. The
apples will fall off, and beat him on the head all day long; he'll never look
up, see where they're coming from."
45And that, you know, we, I think it pays us to stop and look up, see where
these things are coming from. Oh, how glorious it is to
remember our Lord, remember what all He did for us, and remember that there was
no one else could make this possible.There is
nothing could make it possible but our Lord. And He so freely did it, when
there was no worthy person; there was no prophet, there was no sage, no
potentate, no monarch, no king. No one could do it but
the Lord Jesus, Himself, and He so willingly did it for us. Let's just
remember. He's done it for His children down through the age.

automobile to give you transportation, or an airplane, it's just the goodness
of God. But God is the Giver of every good thing, and
only healing can come through Almighty God. Yes, sir.
I'd like to see the man that if I'd break my arm, I'd lay
out to him and say, "Doctor, heal my arm right quick. I got to continue on
my message." Why, he'd think I was crazy. Certainly. He can't do it. He'd
say, "I'll set your arm."
"Well, I thought you could heal. If you can heal me,
heal me. I want to be healed." He can't.
The only thing he can do is say, "Sir, I can set
your arm and get it in place. Almighty God has to do the rest." That's
right.
He might take appendix out, or pull a tooth out, but he'd
never heal the place it come from. That's right. It takes God. God builds
tissue. God is the only Healer.
79Share in His meekness, you'll share also in His power. Share in His
obedience, and you'll share in His resurrection. Do as God says do. In my heart the greatest thing that I could think of is to be
like Jesus Christ, to be identified with Him. There's why I baptize the
people in the Name of Jesus Christ, because He is our Identification. We pack
the identification. "Whatsoever you do in word or in deed do it in the
Name of Jesus Christ, giving praise to God for it." And we are identified
with Him in baptism.
*THE PROOF OF HIS LOVE IS ELECTION--THAT
NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED, HIS LOVE WAS PROVEN TRULY BY THE FACT THEY WERE CHOSEN
UNTO SALVATION…
You see, they could not figure
out God's love. They thought that love meant no suffering. They thought that
love meant a baby with parental care. But God said that His love was
"elective" love. The proof of His love is ELECTION--that no matter what
happened, His love was proven truly by the fact they were chosen unto salvation
(because God hath chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit
and belief of the truth). He may commit you to death as He did
Paul. He may commit you to suffering as He did Job. That is His prerogative. He
is sovereign. But it is all with a purpose. If He did not have a purpose, then He would be the
author of frustration and not of peace. His purpose is that after we have
suffered awhile we would be made perfect, be established, strengthened and
settled. As Job said, "He puts strength in
us." (Job 23:6b) You see He, Himself, suffered. He learned obedience by
the things that He suffered. He was actually made perfect by the things that He
suffered.
*THE GOODNESS OF GOD WILL COME INTO YOUR
HEART. THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION WILL MAKE YOU A NEW PERSON.
80…..And if there's any desire in
your heart that you want--have any great worldly ambitions, repent of them
right now. Tell God you're sorry that you wanted to be some great worldly

put your hands upon His head and by faith confess your sins, say, "Lord,

His glory. The goodness of God will come into your

absolutely coping with the Scripture, it has to come to pass.

E-64 …..The gifts that's in the church, God give the church, the
power, but He never took it away from the church. I can show you where He give
it to the church, you show me where He took it away. You've got the power,
but you don't know how to use it. You're not reverent enough. That's the reason
you all speaking with tongues, you just use it any way.
Ever--every... Some be speaking in tongues; others doing this, and... just like
a Babylon. Don't to that. Put those things in their places. Put
all your gifts in there, you're teachers, you're apostles. Put everything in it's
place, and then operate in decency and in order. You'll find God is a God of
order, and He will bring the thing right up then.

81 That's what the church,
if it's in order (set in order), it only... it's got the mechanics ready, it
only needs then the dynamics. Tonight, if we'll get the
mechanics ready, get our hearts right, the things that we can do, follow every
Word, follow Him in baptism, follow Him in every order that
He told us to do, get every mechanic ready, and stand there; then we're ready for the
dynamics to be lit off, and only God can do that; and that's to drop into your
heart that faith that says, "I am now healed." Then don't make any

is brooding over it.It'll take Life and produce just exactly what God
said it would produce. Every word will produce just exactly
what it promised, 'cause God has provided it.
And God is so set in order, that one day, through all the
types, back through Adam, through Eve, on down through the prophets, down

43 Way into the East, and many
hundreds of miles away from there, the Magi was already on their road. They'd
seen His Star, and was coming to worship God's little
Gift Package that He was sending to the world.
Just a little while from then, and the world was going to
receive its greatest Gift that it ever received, a little Package wrapped up, a
little, first little Christmas Package that was ever wrapped in all the world,
God wrapped It up. I
want to break in on my thought, and say this. The
greatest thing was ever wrapped in human flesh was wrapped in It, God Himself
wrapped His Ownself in a Christmas Package and sent it to the world.
WHY DID THEY REFUSE IT? WHY COULDN'T
THEY SEE IT? WHY DID THEY TURN IT DOWN? Why
did they refuse It? Why couldn't they see It? Why did they turn It down? Why is
it they didn't want It? The same reason they don't want
It tonight. It wasn't handed to them in the custom that they were used to gifts
being handed. That's the reason It's rejected yet tonight, is because
It's not handed to the people in the custom that they have been used to
receiving gifts. But God wrapped His Own Package. He's got a right to do
it; He's the One that's a-giving It. He has a right to wrap It any way He wants
to wrap It.
Doesn't make any difference how it is, He's got a right to do it, because He's the One that's giving the--the Gift.
ANOTHER THING, THE REASON OF IT WAS,
AS IT WAS THEN, SO AS IT WASN'T CUSTOMARY FOR THEM TO RECEIVE IT THE WAY IT WAS
WRAPPED.
47 Another thing, the reason of it was, as it was then, so as it wasn't
customary for them to receive It the way It was wrapped. They was expecting
something, a gift coming, that would come down on chariots, with a Angel escort
driving fiery horses. But when It come as a little Baby
being born in a manger, little did they ever know the Scripture said,
"I'll give this world a super sign." They
asked for a sign one day. He said, "I'll give it to you. It will be the
super sign. It'll be a sign that'll last through all ages. A virgin shall conceive and shall bear a Child, a Son, and
they shall call His Name Emmanuel. That's the super sign. That's the Gift that
I'm going to give." But It didn't come the way they was expecting
It, and they turned It down.

THAT. HE SENDS IT IN THE POWER, THE WAY HE WANTS TO SEND IT.

something that's glittering, something that's classic. But
God don't send It all the time like that. He sends It in the power, the way He
wants to send It.

Holy Spirit, falls upon the poor and humble, the rich don't want It. They
don't want to humble themselves. They want It with class, but they don't want
It the way God sends It. Many people wants to receive the Holy Ghost, but--but
they want to get It the way they want It. But, oh, I'm so glad that you can't
do it that way. You have to do it the way God sends It

52 It wasn't wrapped in fine linens. It was wrapped in swaddling cloth.
Which I'm taught that the very thing that Jesus was wrapped in, the Christ, was
the stuff off the back of a yoke of an ox, that was hanging in the stable. He
was wrapped in... The swaddling cloth was the--the--where they put the--a rag around
the ox's yoke to keep it from rubbing a blister on him when he was pulling.
They--they had no clothes for Him. And they... Oh, when

Jehovah crying like a baby, God made flesh in a Package. God, Who covers all

Himself in a little Package and was laid in a manger in a stable, where the manures of the cattle
and sheep, and things up over that stable, and in this little manger, on straw

their own thoughts, anything so humble. And would be brought by a girl, a

by a carpenter who probably knowed his abc's. And how could they ever bring
forth anything that could tantalize or appease the eyes of the celebrity? How
could they ever produce something that would please or satisfy the rich and high-minded
people, or the denominations of their days? They were turned down flat. *THEY REFUSED THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL OF
THE POWER AND THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST JESUS.

V-14 N-8 SUNDAY_ 60-1225 55 Not only in that day, but in this day also, they turn It down flat. It
don't come wrapped the way they want It. They want to--to discard It, say,
"There's nothing to It." So the rich and the denominations refuse
that Gift. They had nothing to do with It. Why? Why would they do a thing like
that? It wasn't wrapped in the custom of their creeds. That's the reason why
today that they don't want the Gift of God. This United States don't want God.
These churches don't want God. They want Santa Claus. They want something with tinsel
and red colors, and--and--and--and bright, shiny things. They refused the Truth of the Gospel of the power and the
resurrection of Christ Jesus. It won't wrap with their creeds. You can't wrap Christ in a creed. 56 I was listening this morning, as I was
going down to mama's early, turned on the radio, and a--a church was quoting or
saying the--what is called the Apostles' Creed. There is no such a thing. The
only creed the apostles ever knowed to had is found in Acts 2:38, "Repent,
every one of you, and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, for the
remission of your sin, you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
That's the only creed I ever seen in the Bible they ever used. This other
one is a man-made creed. And you cannot wrap Christ in a Presbyterian creed, or
in a Baptist creed, or a Catholic creed, or a Pentecostal creed. The only one
thing that Christ will be wrapped in, and that's your heart, not your creed. He
wants your heart. He's got a control tower there that He likes to work with
you, bring you to Eternal Life. He just won't accept; and you cannot wrap Him
in creeds. You can't then, you can't now, you never will be able to do it.
THAT'S
THE WAY THE CHURCH IS, AND PEOPLE DO TODAY, THEY FORGET THAT THE GIFT OF GOD IS
ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.

V-14 N-8 SUNDAY_ 60-1225 59 So they could not receive It because they thought more of their creeds
than they did of the Gift. That's the way it is today. People
can't accept speaking with tongues in their church; it would ruin their creed.
They can't accept Divine healing, the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and such great
evangelical doctrines of the Bible, apostolic truths. Why? Because their
creed condemns It. Oh, how foolish to take the paper
the Package is wrapped in, and throw the Gift away. Like the moron, he
took the box and accepted it, and throwed the gift away. That's the way the church is, and people do today, they
forget that the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ. He's
rejected as much today as He was then. This Christmas night, He's just as much
rejected as He was the first Christmas night. They cannot do it, because it
disagrees with their creeds. All down through the ages we've had the same

right; It wasn't wrapped, the classical paper around It. It was wrapped as a
Gift, as a Gift from God, sent from God, a God that they didn't know nothing
about. They claimed they did. And they claimed they was looking for Him. But He
did not come in the way that they thought He was coming, according to their
creeds, and they could not receive God's Gift. He was wrapped different. He was
wrapped up like a baby. He was borned in a manger. He come from poor people. He
come from a bunch of fanatics, so how could they receive something like that?
No wonder there was no room for Him in the inn. *BUT THE REAL GIFT THAT'S ON THE INSIDE
OF IT, THEY DON'T WANT IT.

the paper than the Gift. They want the paper, sure, something that's all tinsel,
and a lot of fuss they can do about it. But the real
Gift that's on the inside of it, they don't want It. See,
He was wrapped then in a dirty cloth, a swaddling cloth. And He's wrapped today
in the same thing, which they call holy-roller, fanaticism, a bunch of
heretics. It's wrapped up in swaddling cloth, and the world don't want It. Oh,
I'm so glad to raise that cloth off and look what's laying underneath it:

wrapped up in the form today of Holy Ghost. He was wrapped up then, He called the Son of God. God's Gift Package was just taken up and rewrapped again and
sent back. Amen. He was wrapped up in the Son of
God then; It's wrapped up in sons of God today, called the Church. That's
right. God's Gift Package wrapped to the people, and they refuse It today just
as they refused then. "If they called the Master of the house Beelzebub, a
fortuneteller, because He could discern the thoughts, how much more will they
do you?" Yeah, "They called the Master of the house..." Oh, my.
Let's find out. Yeah,
the Magi, they received It. They were poor and humble, and they had seen a
strange Light.

118Now, these things are controlled
by laws. All of God's system is put up by laws. Now,
we'll take... Let's stop for a minute.
Let's take the world. It turns; every
twenty-four hours it makes a complete revolution, so perfect, that we have
never been able, with all of our science, to make a watch to keep perfect time.
Every once in a while, the best watches they ever make, in the run of a
year, will gain or lose many minutes. But the world never fails but what she's
right there on the second. It's so perfect till the scientists today, the
astronomers can tell you in twenty years from now,
or fifty years from now, just exactly the sun and the moon will pass one
another. When it turns its twenty-four hour circle, and it turns
its time around the orbit for a season, it does not miss a tick.
Hallelujah. It's perfectly, because it's running according to the law
of God.
120They know just exactly when that tide will go out just to the minute,
because they know what time the moon drops. And God's got everything
set in order by a law. And when that moon goes down, away goes
the tide with it. When that moon comes up, here comes the tide with it. And
they know exactly, by timing, when that moon will go down. They can put it on a
almanac calendar for years ahead, and tell you to the minute when that tide
will start dropping. Sure, because that's the way the moon is going out, because
it is set in the order of God's law.
*NO MATTER WHAT THE CONDITION IS, THE LAW
OF GOD'S WORD FORCES THE CONDITION TO COPE WITH HIS WORD.
21-1Job said, "Though the skin
worms destroys my body, yet in my flesh I'll see God."
Regardless of how little we are, how low we are,
how impure we are, how unholy we are, how sick we are, how afflicted we are,
the law of God's Spirit by His Word, makes it obey Him, forces the issue, and
says, "Give it back." Amen.
Oh, if we could just think of
that for a minute. Forces it, regardless of conditions? No matter what the
condition is, the law of God's Word forces the condition to cope with His Word.
See? It's got to.
Now, if a flower is laying there,
and it's dead; the seeds are rotten, gone; the pulp's gone out; that doesn't
have one thing to do with it. It raises again, 'cause God set a law for it to rise
again.

E-12Jesus never come to the earth
and died just in vain. Jesus never taken a chance to come to earth. Jesus
wouldn't have did that. God don't run His office business in heaven like that,
loosely.Jesus came to the earth to die for a purpose, and
not just to see if it'd be somebody. God, before the foundation of the
world, set the--foresaw the whole thing. You believe it? Foresaw it, by
foreknowledge He foreknew it.
Therefore, He knew that there was
going to be a Church called out without spot or wrinkle. And
there had to be preparations made to save that Church, so He sent Jesus, not
just perhaps somebody might be saved, but He knew who was going to do it…..God made a preparation
for those who would believe. And you're part of that preparation.
God foreknew before the world ever was formed, that these days would be here.
That's the reason He could foretell it; He foreknew it. And He made a
preparation for those who would accept it.

ORDER, AND TAUGHT BY THE MINISTER, GOD'S SOLEMNLY UNDER OBLIGATION TO HIS SON
TO ANSWER THAT WORD AND FULFILL IT.
E-7…..And the Urim Thummim from that priesthood was taken away,
but here is the Urim Thummim of the priesthood today, the Word of God. If a
dreamer, or a prophet, or a preacher, or anything teaches contrary to this
Bible, it's wrong. Let him be accursed. But it must be built solidly upon this
Word, as THUS SAITH THE LORD. And if this Word is
correctly set in order, and taught by the minister, God's solemnly under
obligation to His Son to answer that Word and fulfill it. Now, that's
the way I believe the Bible. I believe every word of It.
Now, there may be times that I
may not be able to set it together. I don't believe there's any mortal in the
world can correctly set every word together, but we only can as the Holy Spirit
inspires us to do. Many times, it's contrary to our teaching.

PERFECT IN OPERATION TO MAKE THE MAN TO LIVE.
E-11Now, the thing of it is, since He has restored
man back to this place, man in the fall has lost his conscious of what Father
put him here on earth to do. In other words, all of the plumbing, as
it was, in our brain, and the outlets, the faith, has been clogged up with
business affair, with home life, domestic things. It's all become so clogged--clogged
up with that until God can't operate through those channels that He made a man
for.
Now, when God made the human
body, every little part had it's place to play: the teeth, the tongue, the
eyes, the nose. God does everything in there to make it perfect in
operation to make the man to live. And if God so patterned the man, the body of
a man, how much more has He patterned and set in order the Body of Christ, the
Church?

heaven. That's the way the Church was set in order.
Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit was to run the Church, not bishops, and
archbishops, and popes, and fathers, and grandfathers; but it was to be run by
the Holy Ghost. That's the way it's to be; that's what God's conference... That's
what the returns was. That's the way it was supposed to be. Anything else
outside of that is a bunch of fig leaves and no good. Come out from behind
them! And then tear it off of you; strip yourself before God. Have a... Come and be
reconciled.

morning, God foreknew it and set in order, that you could receive

that we have to do is to receive it now. God's already sent it. It's here.

only thing we have to do is raise up and receive it.
Now, you have to be showed
how to receive it, how to reach up and get a hold of it. And
then when you get it, then you know it's there; nothing's going to rub it out;
it's indelible. It can't never be changed.

time. Some people were really spirited, but had not the Truth. To you that was

never accept anything, 'less it comes out of the Bible. See?
This is the
Blueprint. Let it be set in order and in the Bible. And
God's the omnipotent One, the omnipresent, the infinite God Who knows all
things, and has predicted that in these last days these signs would take place.
The things that He did would be done again before the coming of the Lord.
…..But tell me one time
that the true Word of God ever failed. You got a bunch of fantastics. So
was those priests. Do you understand what I'm meaning? Those preachers,
prophets with them horns butting around, "Oh, THUS SAITH THE LORD, THUS
SAITH THE LORD." But it didn't cope with the Scripture. See? But when it's
absolutely coping with the Scripture, it has to come to pass.
*YOU'LL FIND GOD IS A GOD OF ORDER, AND
HE WILL BRING THE THING RIGHT UP THEN.
E-64…..The gifts that's in the church,
God give the church, the power, but He never took it away from the church. I
can show you where He give it to the church, you show me where He took it away.
You've got the power, but you don't know how to use it.
You're not reverent enough. That's the reason you all speaking with tongues,
you just use it any way. Ever--every... Some be speaking in
tongues; others doing this, and... just like a Babylon. Don't to that. Put those things in
their places. Put all your gifts in there, you're
teachers, you're apostles. Put everything in it's place, and then operate in decency
and in order. You'll find God is a God of order, and He will bring the thing
right up then.
Isa 28:8 For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
Isa 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
