24-0920A_THE MESSAGE OF GRACE PT-10 (PLANT OF GOD)

Psa 80:1  To the chief Musician upon Shoshannimeduth, A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Psa 80:2  Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.

Psa 80:3  Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Psa 80:4  O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

Psa 80:5  Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.

Psa 80:6  Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.

Psa 80:7  Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Psa 80:8  Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.

Psa 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psa 1:2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa 1:3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Joh 15:1  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Joh 15:2  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Joh 15:3  Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Joh 15:4  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
Joh 15:5  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Joh 15:15  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Luk 8:5  A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
Luk 8:6  And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
Luk 8:7  And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
Luk 8:11  Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Luk 8:12  Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
Luk 8:13  They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
Luk 8:14  And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
Luk 8:15  But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

*SOW THE SEED IS THE MAIN THING.

THE.RESTORATION.OF.THE.BRIDE.TREE_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-15  SUNDAY_  62-0422

13-3    Now, remember, pray for me. And just be loyal to the church now; stay right here to the church that--with Brother Neville. And you people that's visiting, well now, come right on back and...
Now, I'm on these meetings, going on them without any definitely calling; but I just can't lay around; the world's a-dying. You see? And Paul had that experience once, and he was going down to another country; and then, he had a Macedonian call on the road. Now, God could give a Macedonian call any time. I cancel anything when God gives a call.

I'm just doing the best I can, going to this corner sowing seeds, and over here sow a few seeds, and over here sow--sow a few seeds. I know the fowls of the air gather a many of them up, and some of them chokes, and so forth; but there might be a few in there come up too, you know, on good ground. So let's just... Sow the seed is the main thing.

*HE SEEN THIS VINE TORN DOWN, DESTROYED.
WHY.I.AM.A.HOLY.ROLLER_  CHICAGO.IL  SUNDAY_  53-0830A
E-57    Oh, my, I will tell you why I'm a holy-roller. Yes, sir. I see the sign coming up. Look at him there when they was going, the Church moving on.
Joel, saw through a... God put a binocular on his eyes one day and he looked down through that stream of time yonder, and he seen the Church. He seen this vine torn down, destroyed. He said, "What the palmerworm left, the caterpillar eaten. What the caterpillar left, the locust eaten. What the locust eat, the--left another worm eaten." He said, "Could this Church to ever grow again."
But God said, "I will restore, saith the Lord."

*OH, MY, IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO KILL THE BRANCHES, BUT THE LIFE IS IN THE CHURCH, WHICH IS JESUS CHRIST…

Joel, that prophet, looking down through eyes of faith, he saw this vine coming up out of Genesis. He saw it all as far when they... There after Jerusalem, the Holy Ghost had fell, he seen the dark ages coming on. He seen that vine destroyed and pushed down to a stump.
But God said, "I will restore, saith the Lord."

Oh, my, if it wasn't for that, you might be able to kill the branches, but the Life is in the Church, which is Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain from the foundation of the earth. That spoken...?... forth. God will restore...?... the last...?... for the earth? He will get somebody who's going to believe Him. Amen. I feel like a holy-roller.
Look. Notice, "I will restore, saith the Lord."

*WE ARE GOD'S FRUIT BEARERS… AND HE WAS THE VINE… THE VINE PUTS FORTH THE FRUIT, BUT THE BRANCHES HAS TO BEAR THE FRUIT.

THE.INSIDE.MAN_  CHICAGO.IL  SATURDAY_  53-1212

E-6    And I was just thinking. We are God's fruit bearers. And I believe in Saint John the 17th chapter, Jesus said, "Ye are the branches." And He was the Vine. Now, the Vine puts forth the fruit, but the branches has to bear the fruit. So, the... If the branch is getting its life out of the vine, well, it's the same kind of life that's in the vine. Don't you think so? It has to be.

*HE'S GONE BACK TO GOD AND SENDS FORTH HIS ENERGY OF HIS SPIRIT TO ANOINT US WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Now, our hands, and our lips, and our eyes, them's God's hands, lips, and eyes, that we have here, He has on earth. Now, He's gone back to God and sends forth His energy of His Spirit to anoint us with the Holy Spirit. And then if we are submissive to Him, and then our hands represents His hands. That's the reason He said, "They shall lay hands on the sick. They shall recover." See?

And on receiving the Holy Spirit, the apostles laid their hands on. There was something happened. Simon the sorcerer realized that there was something taking place when Peter laid his hands on the people and they received the Holy Spirit. Now, it's God's gift. Now, it's something.

*IT'S A CONTACT.

E-7    Now, anyone who ever... How many of you mothers... What mother here doesn't know what laying on of hands mean? When a little baby's fretting and crying and everything, let that mother's hand just touch that baby; that settles it. The little fellow starts--stops crying, huddles up to its mother. See? It's laying your hand. It's mother; it's a contact.

How many of you here ever had a--a horse that was real nervous and upset? Just let a man who likes horses just pat his leg, [Brother Branham pats the pulpit--Ed.] talk to him just a minute, pat him, lay his hand on him, first thing you know, the horse has quietened down. See? It's...

And so is it with laying hands on the sick. If we're anointed to do so from God, our hands represent God's hands. That's only hands He has, is ours. And we pray for the sick.

THE.INSIDE.MAN_  CHICAGO.IL  SATURDAY_  53-1212

*JUST AS THE VINE MOVES, SO DOES THE BRANCHES MOVE.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.1_  JEFF.IN  COD  SUNDAY_  54-0103M

68-61    But oh, what a picture as the true Vine there, and we are the branches in that Vine. See? Just as the Vine moves, so does the branches move. Is that right? How beautiful then of His great body, oh, His great bleeding arms and dropping tears, and His bleeding sides, and His striped back a-hanging over the earth like this between God the Father and the mortals of this earth, a-pleading and loving them just as His body comes into motion and power, it's given into the church.

Just as He said, "I'll move my hands this a-way," and His literal body moves. "Go here; preach the Gospel," you'll see that church move right straight. 'Cause, my shadow has to move with my hand. Amen. Is that right? Amen. Oh, my, when I think of that... There He is, His body moving, "Go ye into all the world, demonstrate the power." No matter if we let our theology and teachings and so forth like that, we bitterly fail. But now the hand of God is a-moving; signs and wonders are appearing. Why, my.

*OH, NO MATTER HOW GREAT A DISEASE OR HOW MUCH AFFLICTION THE DEVIL COULD PUT ON YOU, JUST TAKES HIS FINGER TO MOVE IT.

QUESTIONS.AND.ANSWERS.1_  JEFF.IN  COD  SUNDAY_  54-0103M

69-63    Jesus said, down there when He was casting out devils... Not getting off this question, now, just for a moment. But Jesus said, when He was casting out devils; He said, "Who do your sons cast them out by?" If I with the finger of God cast out devils, who does your sons cast them out by? If you got a better policy, show us." See? "If I with the finger of God..." Amen. Just think, the "finger" of God. There's God above Christ; Christ above the church. There's God, the Father, says certain-certain thing; then God the Son moves His hand and the shadow follows it. "If I with the finger of God cast out devils, who does your sons cast them out by?"

Look, I want you to notice. Oh, no matter how great a disease or how much affliction the devil could put on you, just takes His finger to move it. Oh, my. My. Look at them big strong shoulders and arms and muscles. Just His finger moves every disease and casts out devils. What a little thing the devil is. He just takes His finger and moves him away then. "If I with the finger of God..."

BUT HE GAVE US THESE REDEEMED BLESSINGS THAT WE MIGHT OPERATE THE WORK OF GOD, BY THE ENERGY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

THE.FUNDAMENTAL.FOUNDATION.FOR.FAITH_CHICAGO.IL  THURSDAY_  55-0113

E-25    What did Christ redeem us for? Did you ever thing what He redeemed us for? Why didn't He just make you the atonement and say now, "There's no need of giving them deep powers. There's no need in making this man a son of God. There's no need in doing that. I will just ask him to believe it and write his name in the Book of heaven and that'll settle it." But He gave us these redeemed blessings that we might operate the work of God, by the energy of the Holy Spirit.

*NOW, GOD IS DEPENDING ON YOU AS A MEMBER OF HIS BODY TO BEAR FRUIT OF HIS SPIRIT.

THE.FUNDAMENTAL.FOUNDATION.FOR.FAITH_CHICAGO.IL  THURSDAY_  55-0113

In Saint John 15, He said, "I am the Vine, and ye are the branches." Do you know that the vine can't bear fruit, although the fruit is in the vine? But the fruit cannot be brought forth from a vine. It has to have the branch to bear the fruit. And you are the branches. Now, the vine with all of its energy cannot produce anything unless the br--branch is willing to receive the energy.

E-26    Now, God is depending on you as a member of His Body to bear fruit of His Spirit. And now, if He's depending on you, let's open up our channels, and let the Holy Spirit come in tonight and energize us, and--and free us from all these fears and doubts. Revival's come.

…..God healed the sick in every age and will continue to do it in every age, where people and churches are willing to let loose and let the Holy Spirit take control of their being.

Joe 2:25  And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Joe 2:26  And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
