*HOW THE LORD IS PLANTING HIS WORD.
EXPECTATIONS_
JONESBORO.AR THURSDAY_ 53-0507
E-12 .....Every Word of God is a Seed. And every Seed sown
correctly in the right kind of ground will bring forth just exactly what it's
supposed to. Corn
will bring corn, wheat will bring wheat. And every
Divine promise of God will bring forth what it promised. May the Seed
fall in good fertile ground, bring forth a hundredfold for we ask it in Jesus'
Name. Amen.
E-13 How the Lord is planting His Word. That's first of all is
God's eternal Word. And
I want to say this, while you're here seeking out God for your salvation and
for your healing, that everything that God can do for you, He's already done it. All... Every
sin is forgiven. Every sickness is healed. The only thing you have to do is to
look to Calvary and accept what God has already done for you. There it
is. It's already finished. Jesus said at Calvary, "It is finished." Then if I--I was saved, I'd say, "I got saved
twenty years ago." No, I was saved nineteen hundred years ago. I just
accepted it twenty years ago. God, there when Christ died, He paid the penalty
of both sin and sickness. And sickness is an attribute of sin. And sin is
unbelief. Let that soak just a minute.
*GENESIS WAS A PLANTING OF THE SEED, AND
THESE SIX THOUSAND YEARS HAS BEEN THE MATURING OF THE HARVEST… AND IT'S THE
GATHERING TIME NOW…
A.SECONDHANDED.ROBE_
JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 56-1125M
Now, the book of Genesis produces everything that's in
the world today. There's nothing in the world but what didn't begin in Genesis,
for it is the beginning. In there started every ism. In
Genesis started everything that started. And the true Church started in
Genesis. And the false believers started in Genesis. And the indifference
started in Genesis. Genesis was the beginning.
A.SECONDHANDED.ROBE_
JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 56-1125M
E-8 ….. Genesis
was a planting of the seed, and these six thousand years has been the maturing
of the harvest; and now the seed has become a seed itself. It's went
back to the blossom and from the blossom to the--to the fruit. And it's the gathering time now, harvest time, all the great
things that started. The true Church that started in Genesis has come down to
the fruit time, the fruit of the Spirit. And the antichrist that started
in Genesis is come down to its fruit. And we're just in the closing time of
this world's entire dispensation, the--of the mortal being.
*IT'S THE GREATEST TIME THAT ANYONE, OR
THAT ANY AGE EVER LIVED, IS THIS TIME.
And we're... It's the greatest
time that anyone, or that any age ever lived, is this time. It's a
shaking time. It's a troublesome time for sinners. But
it's a marvelous time for Christians, because we know that we are--are packing
up, or gathering the last little efforts together to go home and meet the Lord.
Now, people today as you look around and see the great trouble and distress
facing the nation, where...
*THERE AIN'T NOTHING TO DO BUT GET READY
TO TAKE A FLIGHT UPSTAIRS, IS THE ONLY THING TO DO WHEN THEM TIMES COME.
A.SECONDHANDED.ROBE_
JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 56-1125M
E-9 A few nights ago I was talking
to someone, was one of these here lookout agents that watches, and they said,
"Brother Branham, we were just instructed by the government never to
advise people any more to lay down by... away from the window on the floor if
the bomb hits, or never to go into a basement, because this new bomb that they
could radio guide from Moscow to Fourth Street in Louisville and hit right on
the street; shoot it up, it's got target things in it, that explodes it, takes
it so many thousands, so many thousands, guided it by the stars and radar, and
drop it exactly on Fourth Street in Louisville from Moscow, Russia. And when it
would hit there, don't have to...?... and use the plane
nor nothing, just shoot it off here and it'll land right there. And it will
blow a hole in the ground of the area... the depth of a hundred and
seventy-five feet for fifteen square miles either way it goes: fifteen square
miles."
There ain't nothing to do but get ready to take a
flight upstairs, is the only thing to do when them times come. Just think, they can shoot fifty
of them or a hundred of them at one time if they wanted to. It'd all be over
within the space of, I believe it's a sixty or eighty minutes, or sec--seconds,
rather, from there to here, to the entire annihilation of the whole thing would
take place. There wouldn't be nothing left between Louisville and Henryville,
and between Louisville and--and Bardstown, or down in there, but one hole in the ground with a bunch of dust laying in it;
that is all would be left, besides the areas it would go out and burn for miles
and miles and miles beyond that. And while one's a dropping there,
another one's dropping over somewhere else to meet with it.
*WHAT'S LEFT IS A TIME TO PREACH THE
GOSPEL AND TO BRING IN TO THIS GREAT TOWER AS MUCH, AS MANY AS WE CAN.
A.SECONDHANDED.ROBE_
JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 56-1125M
E-10 I'm so glad that we have a
shelter. "The Name of the LORD is a mighty tower:
the righteous run into it, and are safe." No matter how many bombs, or how
many anything else, we're safe there. So the world and the sinner not
having this shelter, or this safety place, it's a shaking time. I believe if I wasn't a Christian, I'd go crazy, to thinking
of what might happen at any time. And with a house full of little
kiddies and everything, I wouldn't know what to do. But I'm so glad that I can
stand in my house and introduce to them a shelter that no bomb could ever
touch, or nothing else. Under the protecting wings of
the Lord Jesus. "Not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit, saith the
LORD." See? That is our protection.
And what a great, glorious time it is to know that
all sin and struggles and trials of life will soon be over. It'll all finish one of these
days, and we'll go home to be with the Lord. Now, what's
left is a time to preach the Gospel and to bring in to this great tower as
much, as many as we can.
*…WHERE THERE'S PLENTY OF WATER, AND THAT
STICKER WILL UNFOLD, AND WILL COME A SOFT LEAF BEARING FRUIT.
PLANTING.THE.VINE.AND.WHERE.TO.PLANT.IT_ JEFF.IN
SUNDAY_ 59-0920
E-25 Oh, go with me to Arizona. Let
me take you to the desert, which I roamed so many years. Everything in the desert has a sticker on it. Any little
plant you come to, don't get near it; it'll stick you. It's always got its
stickers right out ready to stick anything that comes near it. What's
the matter? What made it a sticker? Is because it had
no water. That's what dried it up. That sticker is a leaf rolled up. For the lack of water, it becomes a sticker.
Thus it is with the church today. That when the church gets away from the fountain of Life, when it gets
away from the joys of salvation, when it gets away from the Lord God, then that
person becomes a sticker, always finding fault, sticking. Don't
you...?... me come up. "I'm a Presbyterian, I'm a Methodist, I'm a
So-and-so. Don't talk to me about that stuff." A sticker, it has no
fruits.
You take that same plant, cactus, and put it into
a land for a few generations where there's plenty of water, and that sticker
will unfold, and will come a soft leaf bearing fruit.
*A TREE, DAVID SAID, THAT'S PLANTED BY
THE RIVERS OF WATER... WATER REPRESENTS LIFE.
PLANTING.THE.VINE.AND.WHERE.TO.PLANT.IT_ JEFF.IN
SUNDAY_ 59-0920
E-26 What's the matter with the
church today, it's been set into a denomination, that has put denominational
creeds and binds it. No joy, just a sprinkle now and then of a little revival
to hold it. What it needs to be is to come out from among scoffers and unbelievers,
and be planted by the rivers of water. For there is a
fountain filled with Blood, drawn from Immanuel's veins, where sinners,
unbelievers, plunged beneath the flood, lose all their guilty stains.
A tree, David said, that's planted by the rivers of
water... Oh,
God cannot flow Hisself through a cactus. Now, water
represents Life. We know that Moses, in the
wilderness he smote the rock and it gave forth waters of life to a perishing
people. And Jesus said, "As
Moses smote the rock in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted
up." And He was smitten.
HE PRODUCED MIRACLES AND SIGNS BY THIS PROPHET TO SHOW THAT HE WAS GOD.
PLANTING.THE.VINE.AND.WHERE.TO.PLANT.IT_ JEFF.IN
SUNDAY_ 59-0920
E-27 Life is in a blood
cell. And that life cannot come forth until the blood cell is interrupted and
broken.
When God brought Israel out, He gave them a try as a
nation. He plucked them up in Egypt amongst unbelievers
and brought them in His tender care on the wings of an eagle, that great eagle,
Moses that led them from place to place, trying to get them in condition to
cross over. For forty years He led them and fed them in the wilderness. And He nourished the ground, a good ground, a choice ground;
and He showed His miracles, signs and wonders. For forty years in the
wilderness, He produced miracles and signs by this
prophet to show that He was God. Who could dry up the sea but Him? Who
could smite Egypt but Him? Who dared to raise a hand but Him? And in the midst
of all of it, He was God, and He showed Hisself God. He surely wanted His
people to do so.
*HE GAVE HIS LIFE THAT HE MIGHT GO BACK
TO THE ROOTS AND PULSATE AGAIN TO BRING FORTH BRANCHES OUT OF THAT VINE, WHICH
IS HIS CHURCH…
PLANTING.THE.VINE.AND.WHERE.TO.PLANT.IT_ JEFF.IN
SUNDAY_ 59-0920
E-32 But God is determined
that His Vine won't die, so He plucked It up out of those creeds and fills It with the Holy
Ghost, and comes down in Jesus Christ's Name. There
that Church can pulsate, and live, and enjoy, feel the Presence of the living God,
watching Him move and do the things that He did when He was here on earth.
Why? His branches, His
connection, His roots, His beginning was God. He was the Lamb slain
before the foundation of the world. Before there was a world, He was with God.
He was the Root and the Offspring of David, the Morning Star, the Lily of the
valley.
That He was, His roots are wrapped around God,
around the throne, around the Kingdom of God. His roots are wrapped, His Life
spread forth to the earth. And
He gave His Life that He might go back to the roots and
pulsate again to bring forth branches out of that Vine, which is His Church,
showing forth the same results that He did when He was here on earth, and make
Him the same yesterday, today, and forever.
*WHEN THE TRUE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVES UPON
THE BELIEVER, WHATEVER THE SCRIPTURE SAYS, HE'LL SAY, "AMEN." IT'S
THE HOLY GHOST THAT WROTE THE BIBLE IS IN HIM PULSATING HIS LIFE.
PLANTING.THE.VINE.AND.WHERE.TO.PLANT.IT_ JEFF.IN
SUNDAY_ 59-0920
E-33 Oh, Church
of the living God, believe this; it's truth. There He is. When the true Spirit
of God moves upon the believer, whatever the Scripture says, he'll say,
"Amen." Why? It's the Holy Ghost that
wrote the Bible is in him pulsating his life. He don't care who's
setting around or what anybody else says; it'll always divvy with the Word.
There is a false. It's gourds. It's off of a wild vine.
It's a great vine, covers all the earth. But it's death.
Lot of that's been cast among the people. But remember,
Meal brings it back to Life. Pluck it up, and set it by
a goodly Place, which is Christ Jesus.
Whatever His Word is, let it be "Amen"
to you. Then
the Spirit of God... Then spiritual joy will flow like
the river. He'll be like a man, a tree that's planted by the rivers of water.
His leaves shall not wither. He will not set in the seat of the scornful or the
unbeliever, or the ungodly person that lives after the things of the world. But he will bring forth fruits in his season. What
kind of fruits? If you're planted in Christ, you'll
bring spiritual fruits, the spiritual fruits of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Ghost
lives in you.
*BUT TO THE BELIEVER, HE EMBRACES IT.
NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD… WE'RE ETERNALLY SECURED IN HIS
GRACE.
PLANTING.THE.VINE.AND.WHERE.TO.PLANT.IT_ JEFF.IN
SUNDAY_ 59-0920
E-34 It was well spoke by the woman
at the well. In closing, we'd say this. She said when she seen Him...
He looked like an ordinary man. There wasn't nothing
conspicting about it--conspicuous, rather. For the Scripture said,
"There's no beauty we should desire Him. We hid our faces from Him."
And they do the same thing today. If they're not thriving off of the spiritual
fruits of the Spirit, if they're not try--thriving upon the things that
pertains to God, Christ is a ugly thing to them, a bunch of holy-rollers, a
bunch of crazy people that hasn't got their right mind.
But to the believer, he embraces it. It's Life
Eternal. Nothing can separate us from the love of God, neither death, nor
sorrow, nor famine, or nothing can separate us. We're eternally secured in His
grace. There
we are. When he embraces that cross...
*IF YOU'LL ONLY LET ME PLUCK YOU UP THIS MORNING,"
HE SAID, "I'LL PLANT YOU BY THE RIVERS OF WATER.
PLANTING.THE.VINE.AND.WHERE.TO.PLANT.IT_ JEFF.IN
SUNDAY_ 59-0920
E-35 The
woman said... When He asked the question, "Would you bring me a
drink?"
She said, "But,
it's not customary for you, a man, a Jew, to ask a Samaritan, like myself, such
a question."
He said, "But if you knew..." Other words, like
this. "If you knew how close you were to the Fountain of Life, I'd give
you waters that you wouldn't come here to draw. I'll transplant you, you
Samaritan."
"I'll bring you, you sinner, that's a unbeliever and
doesn't believe in it. If you'll only let Me pluck you
up this morning," He said, "I'll plant
you by the rivers of water. I'll put you in a position by the baptism of the
Holy Spirit, that you'll believe every Word that I say is the truth. If you'll just let
Me pluck you up this morning, You'd be a good branch. You don't
belong in that wild vineyard. You belong over here, so let Me pluck you up and plant you in
My Name by the side of the rivers, every tributary of God's Word, where every
Word of God is true, every Divine promise is the truth. And I will plant you by
the rivers of one Water, one God. And you'll bring forth fruit in your season. Your leaves shall not wither, and
whatsoever you do will prosper. You'll stand
when there's no other place to stand; you'll stand anyhow, knowing that God
made the promise."
"Let Me pluck you up," He said, "and
plant you over here by this water that you... You don't have to run to
these creed places and denominational places to find it. You can't find it
there anyhow. Let Me pluck you up by this old dry well here, that you have to
take tin buckets, and rattle, and fuss, and drink a little, and come back,
drink a little. I'll
give you Eternal Life, joy just like a well bubbling up into Everlasting Life.
Let Me... Let Me do that for you." Christ
said to the woman, the sinner.
