24-0327A_SPIRITUAL WINE || AND THE JESUS CAME
Joh 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
Joh 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.
Joh 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.
Joh 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
Joh 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
Joh 2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.
Joh 2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
Joh 2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.
Joh 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
Joh 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.
SPIRITUAL WINE
WHAT.IS.THE.HOLY.GHOST_ JEFF.IN V-4 N-2 WEDNESDAY_ 59-1216
134 The Body of Christ is one Spirit, where every member from Pentecost to this time drinks of the same New Wine, the same Holy Ghost, bringing forth the same results. How do we do it? By one Spirit. It's God's open door, the Holy Spirit. What is It? It's God's open door; It's a Sign; It's a Seal; It's a Comforter; It's an Advocate; It's an Assurance; It's Rest; It's Peace; It's goodness; It's healing; It's Life; It's--It's God's open Door to all these things. It's God's open Door to Christ which has... God proved that He raised up Jesus from the dead. And those that are dead in Christ will God bring with Him at the resurrection. "Grieve not the Holy Spirit whereby you are sealed into Christ until the day of your redemption." How many believes it?

Now, if you want Scripture for this, just start reading Acts 2. What'd
they have? They had the promise that had been given them. When all of the
promise of the Holy Spirit was poured out on them, and was--it was Scripturally
a-vindicated...
Now, see the... What if they'd
said, "Now, wait. He told us to wait up here for our ministry." And
after eight days, they said, "Well, I tell you, boys..." Mark said to
Matthew, "I--I believe we've already got it, fellows. Don't you think
so?" See, "We already got it. Why are we waiting on our ministry?
Now, we ought to just go on out preaching. He told us to come up here and wait,
and this is eight days we been here."
"Well, let's wait another
one."
Nine days come. Then Mark comes around or--or--or maybe one of the rest of them, John, said, "I--I--I believe we oughtn't to wait any longer. I believe we've already got it, don't you?"

272-2 {312} And I can see Simon, 'cause he had the keys, you know. "Now, wait a minute, boys. The Scripture's got something to say about this. He never told us just how many days to wait. He said, 'You stay there until... You stay there until Joel's prophecy comes to pass, until Isaiah's prophecy is a-vindicated. For with stammering lips and with other tongues will I speak to this people,' and this is the refreshment. This is the wine that's poured out."
AND THE JESUS CAME
Joh 11:18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:
Joh 11:19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.
Joh 11:20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.
Joh 11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
Joh 11:22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
Joh 11:23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
Joh 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
Joh 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Joh 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
Joh 11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
Joh 11:28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
Joh 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

E-11 But Jesus knew better. Jesus knew what the
Father's will was. And, oh, what a blessed privilege it is that we can know the
Father's will. If we will seek God, God will make known His will. I'd rather
know that I was in the will of God if I never spoke to another person, then to
preach to ten thousand people every night out of the will of God; I'd rather
know the will of God.
I believe that it was David that said, "I'd rather be a doormat at the (or something), at the house of My Lord, than to dwell in tents with wickedness." What a privilege to find our place and there abide. No matter how the devil shakes, what he says, or how he scoffs, stay right straight in the will of God.
THEN.JESUS.CAME_ JEFF.IN SUNDAY_ 57-0407E
Now, that really was a dark time.
Could you imagine those two beautiful young ladies sending for Jesus to come
and He refused to do it? After they had come out of the church, and had denied
the old orthodox religion, and had separated themselves from the other
associates of the world, and were then putting their whole trust in this Man,
Christ, Who they believed to be the Messiah, Christ, and then He let them down?
He would come from glory to Shreveport for one soul that was ready to receive Him. And remember this man that was ready to receive Him was a sick man. He was mentally sick. He was a maniac. He'd lost his mind. The doctors could do nothing for him. He was out into the--out into the caves, in the graveyard. That's the place the devil will take you. He will put you in the graveyard.

E-23 The darkest of hour, then Jesus came along.
Could you imagine, legion going back down to his home, and finding where he
used to live. The little wife had to sell the place. And he wondered where she
was at, so he searched from place to place. Finally someone said, "She
lives down in the alley."
And when he goes down there in a
little old tin shack, when the children see him coming, they run to hide. The
wife grabbed up her little shawl, and put on her, and started out the gate. And
he said, "Never mind, honey. Never mind, children. Come here to daddy. I
want to take you on my arms. I want to put my arms around you, sweetheart. Your
little dresses are tore off."
Oh, she said, "What happened?"
He said, "Jesus came along. That's what made the difference. "Oh, wife, babies, come here. It was the darkest time. The devils were tormenting me, and then Jesus came along."
AND.THEN.JESUS.CAME_ PHOENIX.AZ SATURDAY_ 57-0302
Joh 11:3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.
Joh 11:4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.
Joh 11:5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
Joh 11:6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.
