Heb 13:1  Let brotherly love continue.

Heb 13:4  Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. 

Heb 13:5  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 

Heb 13:6  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. 

Heb 13:7  Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation. 

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Everything's in order; the Holy Spirit's been given; the Seed's been sowed; the evening Lights has been shining; the sign of Sodom that Jesus promised is here, and Malachi 4, a predestinated church. Oh, devil...

  66-1    Church of the Living God, here and on tape too, do you know where you stand? Do you know that you are called of God, that the Holy Ghost reigns in your heart, and every Word of God is real to you? Oh, brother, how's Satan going to stand against that? How's he going to stop that from growing? How's he going to keep them signs from following. Why, you could throw them in jail. They... If you could... I don't care what you do, they done tried it. They rotted in the jails; they was fed to lions; they were sawed asunder; they were burnt to pieces. You can't kill it (right!), a church that's predestinated. "Those who He foreknew (like He did Jesus), He has called; those who He called, He has justified; and those who He has justified, He has already glorified, predestinated." And now, in the last days with every seed sowed; everything in order (the world in its order, the time shaped up, the church in its order, the seed, the evening lights); the signs of--like He said, "As it was in the days of Sodom..." (an Angel of God, the Holy Spirit coming down, moving, performing the signs that He did then); Malachi 4 promised He'd send in the last days what He promised; and we see all of that right here where? Where?

Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen!

THE CHURCH NEEDS A PURGING, A CLEANING OUT.

E-83   …Esther cleaned herself. She cleaned her heart. That's what she cleaned. That's what the church needs: a heart cleaning." How do you clean your heart, Brother Branham?" Washed by the water of the Word, through the Blood of Jesus Christ.

E-84    The Bible said it's wrong for women to act that way, and for men to let them do it. That's both of you. A man that'll let his woman get out in the street with naked--with clothes on like that, I've got little respects for him being even a man. He's a puppet. That's right. She uses him as a dishrag. Shame on you. You ought to be men.

And a pastor will let his church get by with such things as that without blasting the tar out of it from the pulpit, he's a sissy. What we need is men. The Gospel--not with rubber gloves, but with the power and demonstration of the Holy Ghost with the Word... The Bible says these things are wrong. It's wrong for people to do that way, to act that way. It ought to be preached, and lived, and everywhere. Ought to...The church needs a purging, a cleaning out.

…WALKED UP WITH A MEEK AND HUMBLE SPIRIT; THE CHURCH THAT'S GOING TO BE THE BRIDE OF CHRIST

  E-85    Esther purged her heart before God, walked up with a meek and humble spirit; the church that's going to be the bride of Christ... Now, remember, Esther refused the worldly adornment. She took the Spirit in her heart to go before the king. And the woman today, the church that thinks she's going to get in because she's got more numbers, she's the best dressed crowd, she's got the biggest organization, the biggest church in the city, and things like that... You'll miss it a million miles if you're depending on that.

It's a sweet, kind, reverent spirit to the Word of God, washed by the water of the Word. And the Word in you, it's a washing. Amen. The church needs a washing, a full Gospel washing (That's right.), not just a part washing, but a full Gospel washing, cleaned up, made new creatures in Christ Jesus.

*JESUS' BRIDE IS NOT A DIRTY BRIDE….. SHE'S GOT TO BE PURE, SANCTIFIED, HOLY, WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE, BY THE BLOOD OF HER--HER SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST.

E-86    Jesus' bride is not a dirty bride. He wouldn't have His dirty bride. A woman come up to get married, and she looked like she come out of the pig pen out there, a man that's got any dignity about him wouldn't marry her. He'd make her clean herself up. And when the church of Christ comes up to get married, thinks she's going in the bride with all the world tagging onto her... Christ's bride won't be like that. No, sir.

Neither is the church of Christ, of the Lord Jesus Christ, that church is not a ragged church either, with worn out rags of denominations. She don't have to be a--a member of some great denomination. She has to be Blood-washed, Blood-bought. Not saying we belong to the biggest church, the biggest organization, or this, that, or the other; she's got to be pure, sanctified, holy, without spot or wrinkle, by the Blood of her--her Saviour, Jesus Christ.

  E-87    Like Esther, the hidden man in the heart, the hidden man, the meekness and gentleness of the Spirit of God in the human heart, not the glory and class of the world...

I've always said the world shines; the Gospel glows. Oh, it's a million miles apart. Hollywood shines; the church of Christ glows with loveliness, and soft, and sweet, kind. That's right. Esther didn't want to adorn herself with all the modern apparel of the world. That wouldn't look like a king's wife...

*THE CHURCH MUST BELIEVE EVERY WORD, EVERY PROMISE, EVERY IOTA, AND CLAIM IT FOR THEMSELVES, AND EXERCISE THEMSELVES IN IT.

  35    Now, keep those things in mind. The church must believe every Word, every promise, every iota, and claim It for themselves, and exercise themselves in It. If I was engaged to a girl, and I was a single man, and I'd send her something, an engagement ring, and she wouldn't wear it, then that shows she doesn't believe me. She--she--she doesn't want to be my bride. And if Christ sends His church the gifts that He promised, and they refuse them and say they're not so, they don't want to be the Bride of Christ. They are espoused to some other lover and not to Christ, the Bridegroom. So the real church keeps the promise, and keeps all, and accepts the gifts that God sends. All right.

*BUT THE REAL BRIDE OF CHRIST TAKES THE HEADSHIP OF CHRIST, THE WORD, AND ONLY BELIEVES GOD'S WORD.

156    How that Rebekah watered that camel in the cool of the evening. Eliezer didn't find her in the morning. He never found her at noontime; he found her in the evening light. "It shall be Light in the evening time." Right. That's where he found her. She veiled her face. She had no head; she was going to her head. Amen. A woman, it's her nature, of a woman, to surrender to a man. And it's the nature of the church to surrender to Christ, surrender to His will. Just surrender. She has no thinking of her own; she takes His Word, not somebody else's. If Eve would've done that, we'd have never had to die; but she listened to reasonings. But the real Bride of Christ takes the Headship of Christ, the Word, and only believes God's Word. That's the real, the restored Bride. Hallelujah. It's nearly time, friends; it's later than you think. We're at the evening time. The Holy Spirit's here tonight. I know it's a little, bitty group.
