23-0324A_PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD PT-5 (THE GREAT WORD GENERAL TRIUMPH IN US)

23-0324A_PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD PT-5 (THE GREAT WORD GENERAL TRIUMPH IN US)

Eph 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

2Ti 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2Ti 1:8  Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

2Ti 1:9  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2Ti 1:10  But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2Ti 1:11  Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

2Ti 1:12  For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

2Ti 1:13  Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

2Ti 1:14  That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

1Sa 17:14  And David was the youngest: and the three eldest followed Saul.

1Sa 17:15  But David went and returned from Saul to feed his father's sheep at Bethlehem.

1Sa 17:16  And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.

1Sa 17:17  And Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren;

1Sa 17:18  And carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their thousand, and look how thy brethren fare, and take their pledge.
1Sa 17:19  Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.

1Sa 17:20  And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.

1Sa 17:21  For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in array, army against army.

1Sa 17:22  And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren.

1Sa 17:23  And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.

1Sa 17:24  And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.

1Sa 17:25  And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father's house free in Israel.

1Sa 17:26  And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

1Sa 17:27  And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.

1Sa 17:28  And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.

1Sa 17:29  And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?

1Sa 17:30  And he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.

1Sa 17:31  And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.

1Sa 17:32  And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

1Sa 17:33  And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.

1Sa 17:34  And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:

1Sa 17:35  And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.

1Sa 17:36  Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.

1Sa 17:37  David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

Php 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Php 4:5  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Php 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Php 4:7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Php 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Php 4:9  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Php 4:10  But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

Php 4:11  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Php 4:12  I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Php 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

*THAT'S WHY THE ALL-WISE GOD EQUIPPED HIS ARMY WITH THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

  E-84    That's why the all-wise God equipped His army with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He knowed these intellectual giants would stand in this last days. Hallelujah. He knowed they'd stand, and they'd be able to explain by their great wisdom, powers of Satan. Peter said, "They're like a roaring lion, devouring what he will." Yes.

But He said, "I'm not going to leave you comfortless. I'm coming again. I'm going to be with you." He equipped His army with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Said, "Go up there, every one of you and wait. (Luke 24:49) Behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until--until you're endued with power from on high. After this, the Holy Ghost is come upon you, then you shall be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, Judaea (Acts 1:8), plumb on down to the utmost parts of the world."

***GOD DRESSED UP IN HIS CHURCH…THAT'S GOD'S DRESS-WEAR, GOD'S PRESENCE, GOD'S SPIRIT (AND IF...) WORKING THROUGH MAN.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

  E-76    Now, God fortified His army. What with? Himself, in the form of prophets, apostles, teachers, pastors. What did He do? What was God doing? Listen, did you ever think what that offices of the church is? It's God's dress, inside dress, an apostle, a prophet, a seer. Foresee, before Satan ever gets to it, done told it. What is it? God dressed up in His church. These offices is God's dress-wear. When you see those offices, pastors, teachers, evangelists, what is that? That's God's dress-wear, God's Presence, God's Spirit (And if...) working through man.

And if that office denies any of this Word, then it's not God-dressing...?... No, not that. That's that wolf in sheep's clothing. Watch that fellow. Beware of him.

But when he just takes what the Word says, remember, that's God, 'cause He's speaking His Word. See? But if He says, "Well, it isn't..." Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, my, get going, sheep; get going.

***THAT'S THE REASON HE EQUIPPED THEM WITH THE HOLY GHOST… YOU HAVE THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

  E-89    He knowed what His army needed. That's the reason He equipped them with the Holy Ghost. They knew they'd have to... He'd have to have them, they'd have to have Him. Yes, sir. He knowed to be an effective witness, they--to witness His resurrection they would have to have the Holy Ghost.

Now, He said, Mark 16, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. (In other words, demonstrate the power.) And these signs shall follow them that accept the Gospel." See? Not just say intellectual words, no, no. They couldn't do that with intellectual words. That Word has to be made flesh, manifested. See? "These signs shall follow them that believe; in My Name they shall cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, drink deadly things, lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost, the Word made manifest. "These things I'm telling you will come to pass (like quickening Word), come to pass." You have the power of the Holy Spirit in you. It's not you; it's the Holy Spirit doing it. See?

*YOU CAN TAKE THE SWORD OF GOD WITH FAITH AND CUT YOUR WAY THROUGH TO ANY PROMISE THAT GOD MADE YOU.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

  E-90    Now, to be an effective witness of God you have to have the Holy Ghost, because without the Holy Ghost you can't make that live. And you know what you'll do? You'll take some intellectual giant's idea about it, and bypass it, and say, "That was just for the apostles."

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

  E-91    Oh, I'm glad of that. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. You'd have to have the Holy Ghost to manifest these evening lights. That's right. To make Mark--Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever, real. That's right. Put on the whole armor of God. Don't use it for a dress, or just to parade up and down. But what is it? Put on the whole armor of God, and so that when you got the armor of God on, you can take the sword of God with faith and cut your way through to any promise that God made you.

If sickness stands in your way, cut it out of the way: God's promise. If sin stands in your way, cut it out of the way. That's right. The whole armor... If the devil shoots a dart at you, knock it off and keep on cutting. That's right. "Onward Christian soldiers marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before." Hallelujah.

***LIKE PETER WAS. HE WAS A GOOD WITH HIS SWORD… BUT WHEN IT COME TO REAL CHRISTIAN COURAGE, HE DIDN'T HAVE IT.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

  E-78    Like Peter was. He was a good with his sword. When Jesus got in trouble, he pulled out his sword. He could flop any way, cut the high priest, his servant's ear off with a sword. But when it come to real Christian courage, he didn't have it. Yes. But the spiritual courage, he denied the Word made flesh standing right among them.

He was good with his sword. That's right. He could duel the creed just as good as anybody could. But he, when it come to spiritual courage, he didn't have it. So he failed right there. Now, why? He only knowed one thing, his creed. But brother, after he went up to Pentecost, he put on the whole armor of God. Now, watch him. He's a different person now. He put on the whole armor.

***THAT'S GOD'S PROVIDED ARMOR… HE IS WITH US, IN US. THAT'S THE ARMOR. IT'S HIM. HE IS THE WORD, AND HE IS THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IN US

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

  E-79    What was it? That Word that he'd walked with was in him, burning him up with fire in his flesh and soul. He had the whole armor of God on. That's God's provided armor. He had the baptism, filled with the Holy Ghost. What is it? God makes Himself ever present in His own army. God, on the day of Pentecost, sent down the full armor of God for His army. That was Himself among you.

"Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me because I will be with you, even in you, until the end of the world." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and forever," Matthew 28. All right. That He has... He is with us, in us. That's the armor. It's Him. He is the Word, and He is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is in us, which is the Word making the promise manifest. This is the promise. Christ is the Word, and He makes It manifest.

***THE SPIRIT QUICKENS THE WORD, MAKES THE... IN OTHER WORDS, HE'S THE POWDER THAT SENDS THE BULLET OUT THERE WITH IT.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

  E-80    The Spirit quickens the Word, makes the... In other words, he's the powder that sends the bullet out there with it. Like it was the powder when David met Goliath with a slingshot with a rock in it. He only had one place to hit, and that was right between the eyes. Rest of it was armored. But God got in that spirit.

What was it? He had five stones and a slingshot. Look. F-a-i-t-h in J-e-s-u-s. Here He comes. Something's fixing to happen, 'cause there's the Word, the promise, and the power to sling it. That's what we need today, is a man that'll take God's Word with the power of the Holy Ghost behind him to press it out there and watch it come to pass. That's God's army. Amen. His Word of fire, His army is all dressed with the ever Presence of Himself in there, going with us. "I'll go with you, be in you. Not you that speaketh; the Father that dwelleth in you, He doeth the works."

***THAT'S HIS ARMY; THAT'S HIS SOLDIERS; THAT'S HIS COMMANDING OFFICERS, ALL WITH THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

  E-81    In His army... He presents His army in the form of five offices, first, apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, evangelists. That's His army; that's His soldiers; that's His commanding officers, all with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, waiting out there to meet the enemy on any grounds he comes upon; to meet the enemy with the Word of God (Amen.), each one backing one another up, with Him the Chief Captain, not out there in front, up here, above, back behind; but in them. That's the army. Vindicating, vindicating what? His resurrection, by the proof of His works.

***THE GREAT WORD GENERAL TRIUMPH IN US.

  E-82    John 14:12, Jesus said, "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also." What is it? It's God in the church in these five predestinated offices, backing up every Word that He said with the Holy Spirit Himself in there, which is the Word made manifest, proving His resurrection, proving that He lives.

All other religions are dead. Their forms are dead. There's only one that's right, and that's Christianity, because Christ is a living in the church of Christ (Amen.), making His Words manifest, for He is the same. If it's the same Word, It'll do the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs. Matthew 28 says so. Be with His army, in them, securing them... Think of it. The great Word General triumph in us.

***THERE'S NOT ONE WORD GOD'S PROMISE BUT WHAT WILL COME TO PASS. TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

  E-84    The great triumph General who came down, and was made... the Word made flesh took that Word and defeated Satan on every ground, and said, "You destroy this temple, I'll raise it up in the third day." And why? David in the Word said that "I'll not suffer My holy One to see corruption, neither will I leave His soul in hell." And He knew that that was one promise of God, that He'd be raised up. And He took that Word, and went to death with it, and knowing that that Word had to come to pass.

There's not one Word God's promise but what will come to pass. Said, "Heavens and earth will pass away, but My Word shall not fail." Every promise is perfect. And on that one promise in the Scripture, "I'll not leave My holy One to see corruption, not suffer Him to see corruption, neither will I leave His soul in hell."

***HE WAS THE WORD, FORTIFIED BY THE WORD.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

  E-85    Now, Jesus knew that corruption sets in the body after seventy-two hours. The nose falls in. Undertaker, if present, would know that. Now, the corruption sets in the body. And David said, by the Holy Ghost, a man, inspired, the Word of the Lord coming to this prophet, said, "I'll not suffer My holy One to see corruption." And He knowed before one cell would corrupt, He'd be up out of the grave.

Why? He was the Word, fortified by the Word. And He rose up. He conquered death, hell, and the grave; and Himself come back in the form of the Holy Ghost to fortify His army for this last day, in this big onslaught, where these great intellectual giants rising up, reasoning against the Word. But "I'll not leave you comfortless. I'll come again, and be with you, in you."

***AND WE ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR THROUGH HIM THAT LOVED US. AMEN.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

  E-86    Again, He said, "I'll pray the Father. He will send you another Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost. He will abide with you forever." What is it? The Word, God's Artillery in the human being, manifesting the resurrection. Think of it. That great Conqueror, Who conquered every sickness, conquered every superstition, conquered every giant, conquered everything there was to be conquered on earth, died, conquered hell, conquered death, conquered the grave, conquered the atmospheres, ascended up on high, come back in the form of the Holy Ghost. And we are more than a conqueror through Him that loved us. Amen.

Psa 91:1  He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psa 91:2  I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Psa 91:3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Psa 91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psa 91:5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Psa 91:6  Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Psa 91:7  A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

Psa 91:8  Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

Psa 91:9  Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

Psa 91:10  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Psa 91:11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psa 91:12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Psa 91:13  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Psa 91:14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

Psa 91:15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

Psa 91:16  With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
