23-0331A_PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD PT-6 (GOD PUT INTO THE HAND THE STRONGEST WEAPON)

23-0331A_PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD PT-6 (GOD PUT INTO THE HAND THE STRONGEST WEAPON)

Eph 6:10  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Psa 28:7  The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

Psa 28:8  The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

Psa 28:9  Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

2Ti 2:1  Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

2Ti 2:2  And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

2Ti 2:3  Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2Ti 2:4  No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Isa 59:17  For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.

Isa 59:18  According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

Isa 59:19  So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Isa 59:20  And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.

Isa 59:21  As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Isa 40:25  To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

Isa 40:26  Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.

Isa 40:27  Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?

Isa 40:28  Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Isa 40:29  He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

*GOD IS ETERNAL, AND HIS WORD IS ETERNAL WITH HIM, BECAUSE IT'S PART OF HIM.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-32    Now, they had muskets in them days, knives. That's the best they had. Any nation... They had the best we could give them. And today look at the difference in our army today than there was then.

But you know, when God... Being infinite, infinite He cannot change. There's where my faith rests, is on God's Word, because It is God. And Himself...

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-33    See, a word is a thought expressed. And when God thinks anythings in His mind, and then when He expresses it, it's eternal. Because no man is any better than his word, and God is eternal, and His Word is eternal with Him, because it's part of Him. And you are part of your own word, and God is part of His own Word.

Now, I can say anything, or the nation can say anything, in a year or two they have to keep improving it. But God is perfect, and His first decision is... He cannot change it any more, because it's perfect; 'cause God would not do anything unless it was perfect.

GOD KNOWED THERE WAS GOING TO BE A BATTLE. TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-34    So when God... The first battle that was ever fought was not fought on the earth; it was fought in heaven, Michael and his Angels against Lucifer. And they were kicked out of heaven. And then that great army of the devil and all of his imps fell upon the earth, and God knowed there was going to be a battle. I believe He knowed from the very beginning everything that would ever be. If God's infinite, He knowed every flea that would be on the earth, every gnat, how many times it would bat its eye, and how much tallow they'd all make together. He's infinite.

*SO THE INFINITE GOD'S GOING TO CHOOSE FOR HIS ARMY THE BEST WEAPON THAT COULD BE GIVEN.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-35    So the infinite God's going to choose for His army the best weapon that could be given. And He chose it, and it was His Word. God gave His army the best equipment that it could ever use, and ever could use, and would never have to be changed. And He's never changed it since. You don't improve it; it remains the same all the time. It's God's Word that He fortified His people with.

No matter how many things Satan ever gets, how many things any other army ever gets, or anything, it can never take the place of God's first choice, His Word. He gave them His Word, His promise, and said, "Stay with it," the best that could be known.

***GOD FORTIFIED HIS FAMILY ON THE EARTH, HIS ARMY, IN THE FORT OF HIS WORD.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-36    Now, the enemy knowed as long as the human race stayed with that Word, he'd never be able to touch them. (Now, I'm beginning to feel religious right now.) As long as the human race stayed with the Word... God fortified His family on the earth, His army, in the fort of His Word. That is our Fortress. "The Name of the Lord is a mighty tower. The righteous run into it and are safe." They're fortified.

The Lord is the Word. They are in there fortified and safe forevermore, as long as the human race stays in the Word. As long as the church stays in the Word it's fortified. There's nothing going to bother it.

***GOD'S PURPOSE CAN NEVER BE DEFEATED.

I.KNOW.MY.REDEEMER.LIVETH_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  58-0406S

E-13  …..God's purpose can never be defeated. There is nothing can defeat it. So how happy ought we to be today, resting upon that beautiful revelation of the Word of the living God, that there is neither things present nor things that can come; there's no sickness, no sorrow, no death, no perils, nor nothing can separate us from the purpose of the living God.

What God has imagined in His mind, what God has purposed in His heart to bring to pass, there is no demon, there's no power, there is nothing can ever separate God's great immortal inter--eternal plan. It must be as God has said.

E-14    Then we find that in the day that all of the world was going to be destroyed by a flood that God made a preparation. A preparation for what cause? To preserve His purpose. He did it in the days of Noah, and He's doing it today. He has made a preparation to conserve to His own purpose. He will conserve a church. He will conserve a people. He will conserve subjects for His great domain that death cannot destroy.

***GOD'S WORD WILL DEFEAT SATAN ANYWHERE, ANY PLACE, ANY TIME.

E-8    And now, God's Word will defeat Satan anywhere, any place, any time. Now, when Jesus was here on earth, I--I believe He was, well, He was Emmanuel. God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. So all the great qualities of the Father was in Christ Jesus the Son when He was here on earth. All the Father has was His. And all the fine gifts that's in God, and all that was, was in Christ. But when He met Satan, He never used any of those gifts. He, just to be your example, He brought it to where the very weakest of Christians... He said... Now, He--He had the power right then to rebuke Satan and send Him away. But what He did, He never referred to any of His power.

MY.ANGEL.SHALL.GO.BEFORE.THEE_  TALLAHASSEE.FL  MONDAY_  53-0216

***THAT'S GOD'S PROVIDED ARMOR… HE IS WITH US, IN US. THAT'S THE ARMOR. IT'S HIM. HE IS THE WORD…

E-79    What was it? That Word that he'd walked with was in him, burning him up with fire in his flesh and soul. He had the whole armor of God on. That's God's provided armor. He had the baptism, filled with the Holy Ghost. What is it? God makes Himself ever present in His own army. God, on the day of Pentecost, sent down the full armor of God for His army. That was Himself among you.

"Yet a little while, and the world seeth Me no more. Yet ye shall see Me because I will be with you, even in you, until the end of the world." Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and forever," Matthew 28. All right. That He has... He is with us, in us. That's the armor. It's Him. He is the Word, and He is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is in us, which is the Word making the promise manifest. This is the promise. Christ is the Word, and He makes It manifest.

***AND THEN WHEN YOU CAN HIT SATAN WITH THE SCRIPTURE, HE'S JUST AS POWERLESS AS HE CAN BE.

Satan said, "If thou be the son of God..." There's always a question mark across God's Word by Satan. So he said, "If thou be the son of God, command these stones to be made bread.“ Now, Jesus said, "It is written, in the Father's Word, man shall not live by bread alone."

He taken Him up on top of the--the temple and said--told Him to cast Hisself down. Jesus said, "It is written..." right back to the Scripture. Then He taken Him up on a mountain, showed all the kingdoms of the world, and said, "I'll give to you if you'll bow down and worship me."

Jesus said, "It is written..." See, constantly, "It is written; it is written."

E-9    And then when you can hit Satan with the Scripture, he's just as powerless as he can be. See? Well, if anything, I don't care what it is... Now, it isn't with in me or your pastor to pray... It's for us to pray with you, But it'll have to be your own individual faith that does the healing.

MY.ANGEL.SHALL.GO.BEFORE.THEE_  TALLAHASSEE.FL  MONDAY_  53-0216

*CHRIST PUT INTO THE HAND OF MAN THE STRONGEST WEAPON THAT WAS EVER PUT TO HUMAN BEINGS…..

E-66    Men and women, what we need today is not our names on a church book, which is perfectly all right, but we need to pick up that powerful weapon of the Holy Spirit in our hearts, which changes our innermost beings, and makes us new creatures in Christ Jesus, and fights the way through the sinful world by the righteousness and power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

That's what we need. That's what the church needs, not a face-lifting or a bunch of new members, but revive that what we've got, and fill with the Holy Ghost, and set out to fight the enemy, to pray for the sick, heal the sick, cast out devils. Freely you receive; freely give. These signs shall follow them that believe. Christ put into the hand of man the strongest weapon that was ever put to human beings, was the baptism of the Holy Spirit: a new heart, a new spirit. "And I'll put my Spirit in there." And then fight with what's in you until death shall set you free. Let us pray.

*BEING INFINITE, HE KNOWED WHAT IT TOOK TO DEFEAT SATAN ANY TIME, ANY PLACE, ANYWHERE…..

THE.CONFLICT.BETWEEN.GOD.AND.SATAN_CLARKSVILLE.IN  THURSDAY_  62-0531

E-21    And if we knowed... God knew this great warfare was coming on between right and wrong, and He knew what the enemy was going to do, He knowed just exactly how to equip His people. So if we notice, the very first thing that God equipped His children was... Being infinite, He knowed what it took to defeat Satan any time, any place, anywhere, on any condition. Now, He wouldn't say, "I will give them something here, and then a few years later I may study out something better to give them. And then, after a few years later..."

Like we, in military force, the old bow and arrow, and sledge rock hammer, and then the next was a... After the bow and arrow come the musket, and after the musket come the Springfield, and--and now the--the atomic weapons and things. See, we keep growing more; but God at the beginning gave His children the atomic weapon, because He's the infinite God.

THE.CONFLICT.BETWEEN.GOD.AND.SATAN_CLARKSVILLE.IN  THURSDAY_  62-0531

***GOD EQUIPPED HIS CHILDREN WITH THE RIGHT KIND OF AMMUNITION…..

E-22    Now, seeing there was going to be a conflict, and there was going to be a battle, God equipped His children with the right kind of ammunition, the right kind of attack, the right kind of everything that they had need of that would sweep them all the way from Eden to the rapture. What was it? The Word. The Word. That's what defeats Satan is the Word. It'll defeat him anywhere, any place.

Now, why do we want to substitute something else when we've already got the best thing that there is: the Word?

And we find Jesus on earth (just to prove this was the best equipment), when Satan come in hand-to-hand combat with Jesus, He never just reached over with His power and tied his hands; He just took the same weapon that God gave in the garden of Eden, His Word, and said, "It's written. It's written." And He punched him right out of the ring with it. That's right, because it's God's best.

HE EQUIPPED HIS CHILDREN WITH THE WORD FOR THEIR PROTECTION AGAINST THE ENEMY.

THE.CONFLICT.BETWEEN.GOD.AND.SATAN_CLARKSVILLE.IN  THURSDAY_  62-0531

E-23    And look where it is. It's not just for one or two in a church; it's for every one of us. Every believer has a right to take this Word and fight the enemy anywhere you meet him. Anywhere you meet the enemy, this Word is what you have to use. And Jesus proved it when He come. So He equipped His children with the Word for their protection against the enemy.

When the all-out warfare comes and the battles and--set in array, then there's only one thing a real soldier can use, a real Christian soldier, that's THUS SAITH THE LORD. Walk right out there and meet the enemy with the assurance that nothing... "Thousand may fall at your right and ten thousands at the left, but it won't come nigh thee." Just remember that God made this statement and give this to His children, and it's the best that's ever been yet.

*
PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD WHEN YOU GO TO FIGHT AGAINST THE ENEMY, LIKE OUR LORD DID

THE.IDENTIFIED.MASTERPIECE.OF.GOD_  YUMA.AZ  SATURDAY_  64-1205

27    ….. God's Masterpiece has stood the test. How did He do it? By the Word. "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'"

Oh, Christian friend, put on the whole armor of God. Don't stand back with some little idea of some creed, or something that you're standing by. Put on the whole armor of God when you go to fight against the enemy, like our Lord did. He showed that how the weakest of Christian can defeat Satan just with the Word. He had powers, He could have smote Satan any way He wanted to, but He didn't use it. He just took the Word and defeated him with it. "It's written. It's written." Everywhere, "It's written." So He defeated Satan by the Word of God.

23-0327P_HE SWORE BY HIMSELF PT-7 (IF WE COULD THINK WHAT KIND OF COVENANT WE'RE LIVING UNDER)

Heb 6:10  For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Heb 6:11  And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

Heb 6:12  That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Heb 6:13  For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

Heb 6:14  Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

Heb 6:15  And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Heb 6:16  For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

Heb 6:17  Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

Heb 6:18  That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Heb 6:19  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

*COULD YOU IMAGINE WHAT KIND OF A COVENANT WE'RE LIVING UNDER?

HE.SWORE.BY.HIMSELF_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-11  SUNDAY_  54-1212

79    Now, we start over here on the 13th verse.

For whom God has promised... For when God had promised... (rather)... when God had made a promise to Abraham, because he could swear by none greater, He sware by himself,

Could you imagine what kind of a covenant we're living under? Now, every... Let's read just a little farther.

Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I'll multiply thee.

And so, after that he had (uh... uh)...

*HE GAVE ABRAHAM THE COVENANT, BECAUSE GOD HIMSELF CHOSE ABRAHAM AND ELECTED HIM BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD

HE.SWORE.BY.HIMSELF_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-11  SUNDAY_  54-1212

81    Give Abraham this promise, and promised that He would--He would bless him and multiply him and whatever He would a done, now, look. God also, after this took an oath to it, swore that He would do it. Now, God swore by Himself, that He would--that He would confirm the oath that He had given to father Abraham. And what did He confirm to father Abraham? He told Abraham... He gave him the covenant, unconditionally, not because Abraham was Abraham. We went through that a few weeks ago, you know. He gave Abraham the covenant, because God Himself chose Abraham and elected him before the foundation of the world. Abraham, before he ever was born on the earth, God knowed all about him, knowed what he would do. And by grace He choose Abraham; and not only Abraham but Abraham's seed after him. Oh, my. If you...

How firm a foundation have we got, that when the Prince of all princes, when the God of all gods, when the King of all kings, the Lord of all lords, the Beginning of all beginnings, Himself took an oath by Himself, for where there's none greater, that He would confirm this covenant with Abraham and with His seed.

***GOD MADE A COVENANT WITH THE CHURCH. GOD MADE A COVENANT WITH US.

BELIEVEST.THOU.THIS_  MINNEAPOLIS.MN  SUNDAY_  50-0716

E-32    Them days, when they made a covenant, they would take a lamb or a beast. They'd write a covenant out, two men between them. They would write it out what it was. And then they would kill a beast. And over this beast, they would tear this thing in two. One man would take one part and one the other. And then, in order to confirm this covenant, that man had to take this same piece of paper and bring it back, and it had to perfectly... Now, here it is. It had to perfectly dovetail with the piece that was tore off from.

Now, God made a Covenant with the Church. And He wrote It out--the Bible. And on the day of the atonement, God killed His Son. You believe it? Tore Him apart, and He took His body up to the right hand of His Majesty, and sent His Spirit back as a Covenant to us. And at that day, unless we have that same Holy Spirit in us, we can't go in the Body.

That's just old sassafras preaching, but it'll save you. That's right. We have to have the Spirit of Christ in us, the same Spirit that come out of that Body, to make up His Body, to go back again with Him. Oh, my. That's right. God made a Covenant with us.

COMMITMENT TO THE LORD GOD.

THE.EVER.PRESENT.WATER.FROM.THE.ROCK_  JEFF.IN  V-14 N-6  SUNDAY_  61-0723M

19    Now, last night when I got all the kiddies away, my wife and all, from the house, I made a commitment to the Lord God. And I said to the Lord God, "If You will bless me in the way that I go, I'll serve You. But You will have to show me where to go, and how to go, and what to do." So I committed myself to the Lord. With the--with the ministry and all, I committed it to the Lord. And I said, "Wherever You open, whatever You do, I'll walk in that way. Until You make a way, I'll just continue on as I am until You make the way." And I asked Him to make it so clear that I would not be deceived then, for I truly believe that we're right at a crossroads of something to happen.

THE.EVER.PRESENT.WATER.FROM.THE.ROCK_  JEFF.IN  V-14 N-6  SUNDAY_  61-0723M

21    You see, many times, people thinks that a prophetic gift, that God just says, "I'll pick you up right here, and set you down here. Now, you just go right over here." And He doesn't tell you all those things. If He did, then what overcoming faith did you have? See? See, you, He lets you stand alone more than anybody else. See? You all can come to me and ask for certain things, and He's never failed yet but what He's give you the answer. That's right. Yeah. But I can ask Him for things for myself, and many times He just let's me alone (See?), just let me go ahead and walk into it.

I have things now that I have to solve out myself, and decisions I have to make. And this is such a vital one, till I cannot exactly make it until I'm sure that it's Him speaking to me. And I--I... He won't give me a vision. He just lets me alone. So I'm just setting as an orphan like this morning; I--I don't know which way to turn. So I have committed it to the Lord.

RESPECT TO THE BIRTHRIGHT AND COVENANT OF GOD.

  155-1    SMYRNAEAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.4

See, it was the THOUGHT, and then that thought became expressed, and God bought back Jacob, because Jacob alone was SEED. Jacob, alone had the seed; that is why he had respect to the birthright and covenant of God. If you are true seed, you will hear that Word; the Spirit will baptize you into the body of Christ, filling you and empowering you, and you will receive the Word for your day and age. See how clear the true evidence becomes when the Word is revealed to you? Again, note, Jesus was the Royal Seed. He lived in a human body. When the Spirit called to Him (the Word-Manifested Thought), He went to Jordan and was there baptized in water. Upon obeying the Word, the Holy Spirit came upon Him and the voice said, "This is My beloved Son, hear ye Him." The voice did not say, "This has become My Son," Jesus WAS the Son. The Holy Ghost positioned Him as that Son before them all. Then having been filled thus (and the same pattern holds at Pentecost and ever after), He went in demonstrated power, receiving the full revelation of God and from God, for that day.

  155-1    SMYRNAEAN.CHURCH.AGE  -  CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.4

Now we have been constantly saying that the true evidence of being baptized with the Holy Ghost is for the believer to receive the Word for the age in which he lives. Let me show you most clearly.

*IF IT WAS THE ANGEL OF THE COVENANT, THEN IT WAS THE LORD JESUS; IT WAS GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.

MY.ANGEL.SHALL.GO.BEFORE.THEE_  TALLAHASSEE.FL  MONDAY_  53-0216
E-5    And that Pillar of Fire, or the Angel, was the Angel was the covenant. I believe all ministers would agree with that, that that was the Angel of the covenant. If it was the Angel of the covenant, then it was the Lord Jesus; It was God the Holy Spirit. For Moses chose to--to suffer the reproach of Christ, and counted it greater riches than the treasures of Egypt. You see? Of Christ... That was Christ the Logos, the Angel of the covenant that led the children of Israel out of Egypt to the promised land which was just a foreshadow. As He did in the natural then, He does in the spiritual today.

Now, He promised to supply all their needs. When they needed water, they got it from the rock. When they needed food, God rained it down out of heaven, blowed it in by the wind. And when the waters was bitter, they made it sweet. And He provided everything they had need of.

*HE PROMISED TO BE THE GOD IN THE TIME OF TROUBLE, A PRESENT HELP.

MY.ANGEL.SHALL.GO.BEFORE.THEE_  TALLAHASSEE.FL  MONDAY_  53-0216

E-6    When sickness came into the camp he had an atonement made. He promised to be the God in the time of trouble, a present Help. He promised to do these things and to see them through. And now, as He was then in the... so is He today. The same spirit of God that led Israel leads the church today, bringing us through as it was the wilderness to the promised land. We have a promised land, you believe that: "In My Father's house are many mansions; I go and prepare a place for you, and will come again and receive you unto Myself." We're on our way. We're going to this glorious promised land that God has promised us.

***HE GAVE US THE STRONGEST WEAPON THAT THERE IS IN ALL THE WORLD, AND THAT'S PRAYER.

MY.ANGEL.SHALL.GO.BEFORE.THEE_  TALLAHASSEE.FL  MONDAY_  53-0216

E-7    Now, along this journey He's promised to supply everything that we have need of: "Whatsoever you will ask the Father in My Name, that will I do. Whatsoever things (Mark 11:24)... Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray, believe you receive it, you shall have it." Now, He gave us the strongest weapon that there is in all the world, and that's prayer. Prayer is what changes things. The Christian doesn't realize what a force he has when he kneels on his knees before Almighty God in the Name of Jesus Christ. He doesn't realize what--what power that is. If the people could only realize that the--that what is given right unto them, anything that you ask for will be given if you can appropriate the faith to believe it. For God's Word is true.

***GOD'S WORD WILL DEFEAT SATAN ANYWHERE, ANY PLACE, ANY TIME.

MY.ANGEL.SHALL.GO.BEFORE.THEE_  TALLAHASSEE.FL  MONDAY_  53-0216

He, just to be your example, He brought it to where the very weakest of Christians... He said... Now, He--He had the power right then to rebuke Satan and send Him away. But what He did, He never referred to any of His power.

***AND THEN WHEN YOU CAN HIT SATAN WITH THE SCRIPTURE, HE'S JUST AS POWERLESS AS HE CAN BE.

MY.ANGEL.SHALL.GO.BEFORE.THEE_  TALLAHASSEE.FL  MONDAY_  53-0216

Satan said, "If thou be the son of God..." There's always a question mark across God's Word by Satan. So he said, "If thou be the son of God, command these stones to be made bread."

Now, Jesus said, "It is written, in the Father's Word, man shall not live by bread alone."

HE.SWORE.BY.HIMSELF_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-11  SUNDAY_  54-1212

85    …..If necessary, we can go back and pick up the Abrahamic covenant that God made with him, and how that God swore by Himself. Anybody ever know where God ever swore by Himself? Let's turn now; that's Genesis the 22nd chapter, I believe, and about 16. Let's take a look at Genesis the 22nd chapter and the 16th verse, and we'll see here where God swore by Him--Himself. All right, I believe this is it now, if I'm not mistaken, right to the place, 22nd, 16. Yes. Look, 15th verse.

And the angel of the LORD called unto him Abraham out of the heaven the second time,

And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thine only son:

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I'll multiply thee, thy seed shall be as the stars of the heaven, and as the sands upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gates of his enemies;

***I'LL HONOR FAITH. AND BECAUSE YOU DID THIS WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT WOULD BE THE OUTCOME, I'VE SAVED YOU.

HE.SWORE.BY.HIMSELF_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-11  SUNDAY_  54-1212

87    God swore it by Himself. Hallelujah. If that don't make a fellow feel like hollering, "Hallelujah," there's not--you're dead. Right.

Oh, God said, "Abraham, because you've did this, not what somebody else will do, but because you have did this. By faith you walked, and I've honor that thing there, not honor works any more; I'll not honor this. I'll honor faith. And because you did this without knowing what would be the outcome, I've saved you. I'll save your seed. I'll take an oath by Myself." Amen. "And your seed shall possess the gates of their enemy." Amen. That settles it to me. That's just... That--that's all that has to be done.

Isa 42:21  The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

1Jn 3:1  Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

Ecc 7:13  Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked?

Ecc 7:14  In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

Ecc 7:15  All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.

Ecc 7:16  Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?

Ecc 7:17  Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

Psa 33:15  He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.
Psa 33:16  There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

Mat 5:34  But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

23-0324A_PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD PT-5 (THE GREAT WORD GENERAL TRIUMPH IN US)

23-0324A_PUTTING ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD PT-5 (THE GREAT WORD GENERAL TRIUMPH IN US)

Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

2Ti 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2Ti 1:8  Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

2Ti 1:9  Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2Ti 1:10  But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

2Ti 1:11  Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

2Ti 1:12  For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

2Ti 1:13  Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

2Ti 1:14  That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

1Sa 17:14  And David was the youngest: and the three eldest followed Saul.

1Sa 17:15  But David went and returned from Saul to feed his father's sheep at Bethlehem.

1Sa 17:16  And the Philistine drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.

1Sa 17:17  And Jesse said unto David his son, Take now for thy brethren an ephah of this parched corn, and these ten loaves, and run to the camp to thy brethren;

1Sa 17:18  And carry these ten cheeses unto the captain of their thousand, and look how thy brethren fare, and take their pledge.
1Sa 17:19  Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.

1Sa 17:20  And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.

1Sa 17:21  For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in array, army against army.

1Sa 17:22  And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren.

1Sa 17:23  And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.

1Sa 17:24  And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.

1Sa 17:25  And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up: and it shall be, that the man who killeth him, the king will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father's house free in Israel.

1Sa 17:26  And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

1Sa 17:27  And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.

1Sa 17:28  And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle.

1Sa 17:29  And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?

1Sa 17:30  And he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.

1Sa 17:31  And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul: and he sent for him.

1Sa 17:32  And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.

1Sa 17:33  And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.

1Sa 17:34  And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:

1Sa 17:35  And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.

1Sa 17:36  Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.

1Sa 17:37  David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

Php 4:4  Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Php 4:5  Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Php 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Php 4:7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Php 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Php 4:9  Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Php 4:10  But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

Php 4:11  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Php 4:12  I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Php 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

*THAT'S WHY THE ALL-WISE GOD EQUIPPED HIS ARMY WITH THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

E-84    That's why the all-wise God equipped His army with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. He knowed these intellectual giants would stand in this last days. Hallelujah. He knowed they'd stand, and they'd be able to explain by their great wisdom, powers of Satan. Peter said, "They're like a roaring lion, devouring what he will." Yes.

But He said, "I'm not going to leave you comfortless. I'm coming again. I'm going to be with you." He equipped His army with the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Said, "Go up there, every one of you and wait. (Luke 24:49) Behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until--until you're endued with power from on high. After this, the Holy Ghost is come upon you, then you shall be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, Judaea (Acts 1:8), plumb on down to the utmost parts of the world."

***GOD DRESSED UP IN HIS CHURCH…THAT'S GOD'S DRESS-WEAR, GOD'S PRESENCE, GOD'S SPIRIT (AND IF...) WORKING THROUGH MAN.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

E-76    Now, God fortified His army. What with? Himself, in the form of prophets, apostles, teachers, pastors. What did He do? What was God doing? Listen, did you ever think what that offices of the church is? It's God's dress, inside dress, an apostle, a prophet, a seer. Foresee, before Satan ever gets to it, done told it. What is it? God dressed up in His church. These offices is God's dress-wear. When you see those offices, pastors, teachers, evangelists, what is that? That's God's dress-wear, God's Presence, God's Spirit (And if...) working through man.

And if that office denies any of this Word, then it's not God-dressing...?... No, not that. That's that wolf in sheep's clothing. Watch that fellow. Beware of him.

But when he just takes what the Word says, remember, that's God, 'cause He's speaking His Word. See? But if He says, "Well, it isn't..." Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, my, get going, sheep; get going.

***THAT'S THE REASON HE EQUIPPED THEM WITH THE HOLY GHOST… YOU HAVE THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

E-89    He knowed what His army needed. That's the reason He equipped them with the Holy Ghost. They knew they'd have to... He'd have to have them, they'd have to have Him. Yes, sir. He knowed to be an effective witness, they--to witness His resurrection they would have to have the Holy Ghost.

Now, He said, Mark 16, "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. (In other words, demonstrate the power.) And these signs shall follow them that accept the Gospel." See? Not just say intellectual words, no, no. They couldn't do that with intellectual words. That Word has to be made flesh, manifested. See? "These signs shall follow them that believe; in My Name they shall cast out devils, speak with new tongues, take up serpents, drink deadly things, lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost, the Word made manifest. "These things I'm telling you will come to pass (like quickening Word), come to pass." You have the power of the Holy Spirit in you. It's not you; it's the Holy Spirit doing it. See?

*YOU CAN TAKE THE SWORD OF GOD WITH FAITH AND CUT YOUR WAY THROUGH TO ANY PROMISE THAT GOD MADE YOU.

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

E-90    Now, to be an effective witness of God you have to have the Holy Ghost, because without the Holy Ghost you can't make that live. And you know what you'll do? You'll take some intellectual giant's idea about it, and bypass it, and say, "That was just for the apostles."

PUTTING.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  S.PINES.NC  THURSDAY_  62-0607

E-91    Oh, I'm glad of that. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. You'd have to have the Holy Ghost to manifest these evening lights. That's right. To make Mark--Hebrews 13:8, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever, real. That's right. Put on the whole armor of God. Don't use it for a dress, or just to parade up and down. But what is it? Put on the whole armor of God, and so that when you got the armor of God on, you can take the sword of God with faith and cut your way through to any promise that God made you.

If sickness stands in your way, cut it out of the way: God's promise. If sin stands in your way, cut it out of the way. That's right. The whole armor... If the devil shoots a dart at you, knock it off and keep on cutting. That's right. "Onward Christian soldiers marching as to war, with the cross of Jesus going on before." Hallelujah.

***LIKE PETER WAS. HE WAS A GOOD WITH HIS SWORD… BUT WHEN IT COME TO REAL CHRISTIAN COURAGE, HE DIDN'T HAVE IT.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-78    Like Peter was. He was a good with his sword. When Jesus got in trouble, he pulled out his sword. He could flop any way, cut the high priest, his servant's ear off with a sword. But when it come to real Christian courage, he didn't have it. Yes. But the spiritual courage, he denied the Word made flesh standing right among them.

He was good with his sword. That's right. He could duel the creed just as good as anybody could. But he, when it come to spiritual courage, he didn't have it. So he failed right there. Now, why? He only knowed one thing, his creed. But brother, after he went up to Pentecost, he put on the whole armor of God. Now, watch him. He's a different person now. He put on the whole armor.

***THAT'S GOD'S PROVIDED ARMOR… HE IS WITH US, IN US. THAT'S THE ARMOR. IT'S HIM. HE IS THE WORD, AND HE IS THE HOLY SPIRIT, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IN US

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

***THE SPIRIT QUICKENS THE WORD, MAKES THE... IN OTHER WORDS, HE'S THE POWDER THAT SENDS THE BULLET OUT THERE WITH IT.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-80    The Spirit quickens the Word, makes the... In other words, he's the powder that sends the bullet out there with it. Like it was the powder when David met Goliath with a slingshot with a rock in it. He only had one place to hit, and that was right between the eyes. Rest of it was armored. But God got in that spirit.

What was it? He had five stones and a slingshot. Look. F-a-i-t-h in J-e-s-u-s. Here He comes. Something's fixing to happen, 'cause there's the Word, the promise, and the power to sling it. That's what we need today, is a man that'll take God's Word with the power of the Holy Ghost behind him to press it out there and watch it come to pass. That's God's army. Amen. His Word of fire, His army is all dressed with the ever Presence of Himself in there, going with us. "I'll go with you, be in you. Not you that speaketh; the Father that dwelleth in you, He doeth the works."

***THAT'S HIS ARMY; THAT'S HIS SOLDIERS; THAT'S HIS COMMANDING OFFICERS, ALL WITH THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-81    In His army... He presents His army in the form of five offices, first, apostles, prophets, teachers, pastors, evangelists. That's His army; that's His soldiers; that's His commanding officers, all with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, waiting out there to meet the enemy on any grounds he comes upon; to meet the enemy with the Word of God (Amen.), each one backing one another up, with Him the Chief Captain, not out there in front, up here, above, back behind; but in them. That's the army. Vindicating, vindicating what? His resurrection, by the proof of His works.

***THE GREAT WORD GENERAL TRIUMPH IN US.

E-82    John 14:12, Jesus said, "He that believeth in Me, the works that I do shall he do also." What is it? It's God in the church in these five predestinated offices, backing up every Word that He said with the Holy Spirit Himself in there, which is the Word made manifest, proving His resurrection, proving that He lives.

All other religions are dead. Their forms are dead. There's only one that's right, and that's Christianity, because Christ is a living in the church of Christ (Amen.), making His Words manifest, for He is the same. If it's the same Word, It'll do the same thing, and show the same works, and the same signs. Matthew 28 says so. Be with His army, in them, securing them... Think of it. The great Word General triumph in us.

***THERE'S NOT ONE WORD GOD'S PROMISE BUT WHAT WILL COME TO PASS. TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_  SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-84    The great triumph General who came down, and was made... the Word made flesh took that Word and defeated Satan on every ground, and said, "You destroy this temple, I'll raise it up in the third day." And why? David in the Word said that "I'll not suffer My holy One to see corruption, neither will I leave His soul in hell." And He knew that that was one promise of God, that He'd be raised up. And He took that Word, and went to death with it, and knowing that that Word had to come to pass.

There's not one Word God's promise but what will come to pass. Said, "Heavens and earth will pass away, but My Word shall not fail." Every promise is perfect. And on that one promise in the Scripture, "I'll not leave My holy One to see corruption, not suffer Him to see corruption, neither will I leave His soul in hell."

***HE WAS THE WORD, FORTIFIED BY THE WORD.

TO.TAKE.ON.THE.WHOLE.ARMOR.OF.GOD_ SANTA.MARIA.CA  SUNDAY_  62-0701

E-85    Now, Jesus knew that corruption sets in the body after seventy-two hours. The nose falls in. Undertaker, if present, would know that. Now, the corruption sets in the body. And David said, by the Holy Ghost, a man, inspired, the Word of the Lord coming to this prophet, said, "I'll not suffer My holy One to see corruption." And He knowed before one cell would corrupt, He'd be up out of the grave.

Why? He was the Word, fortified by the Word. And He rose up. He conquered death, hell, and the grave; and Himself come back in the form of the Holy Ghost to fortify His army for this last day, in this big onslaught, where these great intellectual giants rising up, reasoning against the Word. But "I'll not leave you comfortless. I'll come again, and be with you, in you."

Psa 91:3  Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Psa 91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Psa 91:5  Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Psa 91:10  There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Psa 91:11  For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Psa 91:12  They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Psa 91:13  Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Psa 91:14  Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

Psa 91:15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
