24-1014P_FAITHFUL SERVICE UNTO THE LORD PT-6
Jud 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
Jud 1:2 Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Psa 89:24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
Rom 4:16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
Rom 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Rom 4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
Rom 4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:
Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Pro 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Pro 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
Pro 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Pro 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Pro 4:24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
Pro 4:25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
Pro 4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
Pro 4:27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
*ABRAHAM WAS JUST AN ORDINARY MAN, BUT HE
WAS CALLED OF GOD AND HE WAS FAITHFUL TO THAT CALL.

21 Our scene opens at one of the most marvelous scenes in Abraham. You
know that Abraham is the father of the faithful. And the promise was made to
Abraham. And only being heirs with him, through Christ, is the only way we
receive the promise, is through Abraham. Now, Abraham
was just an ordinary man, but he was called of God and he was faithful to that
call. When God spoke to him, Abraham never one time doubted that voice.
He stayed right with it. No matter what the difficult
was, he stayed right with it.

24 Now, there was two seed of
Abraham. One of them was natural seed; the other one was a spiritual Seed. One
of them was natural, by his flesh; the other one was the Seed of his faith, the
faith, that we also might be Abraham's Seed by the promised Word.
THE.PATRIARCH.ABRAHAM_ BAKF.CA V-22 N-7 FRIDAY_ 64-0207
15 He promised to heal the sick, to raise the dead, to cast out devils. He
promised to do it. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. How? I don't
know. He promised to do it! We believe it; that settles
it. When a man believes God, he believes all He says.
*AND BECAUSE ABRAHAM WAS FAITHFUL, AND KEPT THE--THE WORD OF GOD THAT GOD PROMISED HIM, AND KNOWED THAT GOD COULD RAISE UP THIS CHILD.
THE.PATRIARCH.ABRAHAM_ BAKF.CA V-22 N-7 FRIDAY_ 64-0207
17 Now, not only did He give this
great promise, He give it to his Seed, also. And
because Abraham was faithful, and kept the--the Word of God that God promised
him, and knowed that God could raise up this child. And he spared not
his own child; but (God) was a type of God giving His Son, of course; as he
packed the wood up the mountain, and so forth; as Christ later packed His Own
sacrifice block, up the hill, to where He was crucified.
*…IT PLEASED GOD SO WELL TO SEE THAT ABRAHAM LOVED HIM ABOVE EVERYTHING ON EARTH, EVEN HIS ONLY SON.
*…IT PLEASED GOD SO WELL TO SEE THAT ABRAHAM LOVED HIM ABOVE EVERYTHING ON EARTH, EVEN HIS ONLY SON.
THE.PATRIARCH.ABRAHAM_ BAKF.CA V-22 N-7 FRIDAY_ 64-0207
18 We realize that in this, in
doing this, it pleased God so well to see that Abraham
loved Him above everything on earth, even his only son. He loved Him
above what anybody could say, anybody could do, he still loved God enough to
believe His Word.
19 All Abraham's Seed believes God like that. They are believing God. And we know that it pleased God so well that here is what He said, "Thy Seed shall possess the gates of its enemy. Thy Seed shall possess the gates of its enemy." Remember, that's THUS SAITH THE LORD. Abraham's Seed believes that. If you are genuine Seed of Abraham, the faith that Abraham had in God, it's in you. And you believe, that what God has said, God keeps His promise.
*THE SEED OF ABRAHAM MUST FIRST BE TESTED, TO SEE IF THEY REALLY BELIEVE THE WORD.
THE.PATRIARCH.ABRAHAM_ BAKF.CA V-22 N-7 FRIDAY_ 64-0207
20 And He said it, now remember, He
only made this promise to Abraham after He had give him a test. The Seed of Abraham must first be tested, to see if they
really believe the Word. Remember, the only way that he could keep the
promise of God, because he believed the promise of God, and was tested whether
he believed It or not.
*REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCES WAS, HE STILL BELIEVED THE WORD WAS RIGHT.

177-1 PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5
Now if a man is born of the Word (Being born
again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which
liveth and abideth forever. I
Peter 1:23) he will produce the Word. The fruit or
works of his life will be a product of the kind of seed or life that is in him.
His works, therefore will be Scriptural. Oh, what an indictment this
truth is going to be against the Pergamean Age. There stands that Matchless
One, and in His hand the sharp sword with the two edges, the Word of God. And
that Word will judge us in the last day. In fact the Word is judging even now,
for it is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It cuts
asunder the carnal from the spiritual. It makes us
living epistles read and known of all men to the glory of God.
*THE WORD OF TRUTH WAS THE CRITERION THEN; IT IS THE CRITERION NOW. THERE ISN'T ANOTHER STANDARD; THERE ISN'T ANOTHER PLUMB LINE.
*THE WORD OF TRUTH WAS THE CRITERION THEN; IT IS THE CRITERION NOW. THERE ISN'T ANOTHER STANDARD; THERE ISN'T ANOTHER PLUMB LINE.
177-1 PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5
"I know thy works." If a man fears that he
might not please God, then let him fulfill the Word. If a man wonders if he
will hear those words, "Well done, good and faithful servant," let
him fulfill the Word of God in his life, and assuredly he will hear those words
of praise. The Word of truth was the criterion then; it
is the criterion now. There isn't another standard; there isn't another plumb
line. As the world is going to be judged by one Christ Jesus, even so it
is going to be judged by the Word. If a man wants to know how he is making out,
let him do as James suggested: "Look into the mirror of God's Word."
178-1 PERGAMEAN.CHURCH.AGE - CHURCH.AGE.BOOK CPT.5
"I know
thy works." As
He stood there with the Word, examining their lives in the light of the blue
print He had laid out for them, He must have been pleased in a goodly measure, for they, like the others who had gone on before, were
enduring the persecution of the unjust and still joyfully cleaving unto the
Lord. Difficult though it was at times to serve the Lord, yet they served Him
and worshipped Him in Spirit and in truth. But with the false vine it
was not so. Alas, they had repudiated the life that is built upon the Word and
were now going further and further away from the truth. Their actions bore
witness to the depths to which they had sunk.
*FOR GOD CAN KEEP ANYONE AND USE ANYONE THAT WILL FOLLOW AFTER HIM, FOR IT'S GOD'S BUSINESS.

6 For God can keep anyone and use anyone that will follow
after Him, for it's God's business. But when we turn to aside away from the things of God,
then God cannot use us any longer. When we'll walk
steadfastly after the commandments of God, when we'll stay in the pages of the
Bible and worship by the written Word, worship Him in the Spirit and in the
Truth of the Word, then God can use any individual. But when they take a
notion to turn aside after something else, then God cannot use that person any
longer.

7 So Samson makes a--a very
outstanding representation of the church of today. When
the church started, God could use the church, for the church walked diligently
after the commandments of the Lord, kept all of His judgments and His statutes,
and done all of His commandments. And God was with the church. But it
seems to be that there is such a weakening place amongst the church.
*AND WE CAN ONLY DO THAT AS THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL REVEAL IT TO US.
*AND WE CAN ONLY DO THAT AS THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL REVEAL IT TO US.
A.DECEIVED.CHURCH.BY.THE.WORLD_ JEFF.IN CH 67 SUNDAY_ 59-0628M
8 Remember, we are not on a
picnic, but we're in a battlefield. Many people just think that when they
become a Christian that that's all they need to do, that that settles it
forever, as they are a Christian and everything's going to come easy. Don't
never get that in your head. For I become a Christian
to fight, fight the good fight of faith. I become a Christian to get in the
battle lines. We are Christian soldiers, and we got to be trained, and
brought up, and know all the techniques of the enemy, to know how to fortify,
to know how to--to fight the fight. And we can only do
that as the Holy Spirit will reveal it to us. We cannot take what some
other nation tells us when we go to war, some of their ideas. But we got to take our own ideas, the way the Holy Spirit
would direct us, and what ideas He would give us, because He is the
Commandering Chief of the army of the Christians.
