24-1007P_FAITHFUL SERVICE UNTO THE LORD PT-5 (HE STANDS FAITHFUL)

Jud 1:1  Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
Jud 1:2  Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Jud 1:3  Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Jud 1:4  For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Jn 1:5  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1Jn 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1Jn 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
1Jn 1:8  If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1Jn 1:10  If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us
Isa 55:10  For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
Isa 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

*BUT IT'S BY HIS MERCY THAT WE'RE BOUGHT, THAT GOD WANTED TO MAKE SONS AND DAUGHTERS. GOODNESS NEVER MAKES THEM. THE SPIRIT OF GOD MAKES THEM.

THE.DEITY.OF.JESUS.CHRIST_  JEFF.IN  V-20 N-12  SUNDAY_  49-1225

113    And look here in the Old Testament, as I've referred to it many times, when the contract was made, it was tore apart over a dead beast's body. And those two contracts had to be come together, them contracts had to dovetail one with the other.

And today God's made a contract, not because you were good, not because you joined church, not because you been a good member of society. You can be ever so good; you can live a clean life; you can go to church every day; you can sacrifice every day; you can give a part of your money; you can give up all the sins of the world, and everything, and live just as true and faithful as you can, and you'll miss heaven just as far as east is from the west. That's right. It isn't by goodness that we are saved, but it's by His mercy that we're bought, that God wanted to make sons and daughters. Goodness never makes them. The Spirit of God makes them. If it wasn't so, He wouldn't have had to send the Holy Ghost.

How could the Holy Ghost be complete unless--or how could the--the contract be complete? Jesus said, "I go away, yet I'll come again and be with you, even in you. Pray the Father, and He'll give you the Holy Ghost. He will abide forever."

*AND HE'S GOING TO HAVE A BODY THAT'S PURE, AND HOLY, AND FILLED WITH HIS SPIRIT, WALKING IN HIS SPIRIT AND DOING THE WORKS THAT HE DID.

HEAR.YE.HIM_  PHOENIX.AZ  SUNDAY_  60-0313

E-44   …..Look, it's come to a place, friend, where the world is so awful, it's going make you prove every inch of ground you stand on; Satan's going do it. And it's coming to a time where impersonations and carnal thinking is going to be circumcised from the real true body of Christ. And He's going to have a body that's pure, and holy, and filled with His Spirit, walking in His Spirit and doing the works that He did. Be faithful to that.

E-45    Want something real... They're hungering and thirsting to find the real thing. They don't want psychology; they don't want some intellectual speech; they want something that gives them the assurance, something that makes this Bible live again.

*SO THE WORD IS GOD, AND THE WORD BECOMES OUR STRENGTH.

THE.CONTEST_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-7  MONDAY_  62-1231

10    Now, this great contest has been going on for many years. It started in heaven, and Satan was kicked out into the earth, and then he become a enemy to God's people. And since then, he's used all of his strength and his strategy to try to pull God's people across the fires, or, into his fires.

And we know that Who has the most power: God does. And God, when He gave His people the best Thing that He could to combat Satan with, was His Word. Now, because the Word is God, and who's stronger than God? So the Word is God, and the Word becomes our Strength. God in the church, becomes its Strength to pull Satan to his own fires that he has made. And the tug goes on.

THE.CONTEST_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-7  MONDAY_  62-1231

12    Now, Jesus said, in Mark 16, "In My Name they shall cast out devils." Now, I know that's an old saying that people--or, there is an old saying that... And it's not so old either. People don't believe in demons in this day. But the thing to do, to my opinion, is know your enemy. And--and know your enemy, and train for the contest that you're going to have when you meet him, because you're going to meet him. And know him, know his, know what his strength is, and then train for this contest when you do meet him. For it's one thing sure, you're going to meet him. And so you train for the contest.

Now, training for a contest is just like a boxer. His--his enemy that he's going to meet out there in a contest to fight, a real good fighter usually knows and studies his opponents, studies his licks, knows where he fights for, whether he leans forward, hangs back, fights right-handed or left-handed. He studies all this. And then if he's a good, smart fighter, he gets him a sparring partner that'll fight just like his opponent fights, for he'll know all of his licks when he gets to that place.

THE.CONTEST_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-7  MONDAY_  62-1231

14    And I think that's a very good thing for Christians to do. That's right. And now if you want to start training, start with John 3:16, the Golden Rule. Start right out with that, and that'll get you on the floor. And then train for the--for the knockout punches, because you're going to have to use them. Everybody knows that. You have to train to hit your enemy. And always, God uses His Word. We must remember that God uses His Word to defeat His enemy. If God could think or could've give His people anything better to defeat the enemy with, He would've done it. So as I've always said, "When God makes a decision, that's the best that there is. He never has to alter His decisions." So the first decision God gave His people in the garden of Eden to combat the enemy, was His Word. They were fortified with His Word.

THE.CONTEST_  JEFF.IN  V-10 N-7  MONDAY_  62-1231

15    And now, the enemy is going to study the--our a-strategy with the Word. And now, Satan studied that all out so perfectly, till when he come to Eve, he had the--the best a-strategy he could use upon her, and that was to reason with the Word. Now, you never want to reason with God's Word. Just believe It. Don't try to explain It. Don't try to figure It out. Now, you cannot figure out God, so God is the Word, and It's just made to believe. And that's our Strength, just accept the Word. And anyone knows that a seed in the right kind of ground will produce its kind. And we just take the Word.

*HE WAS A PROPHET ON EARTH. NOW, BECAUSE HE WAS WHAT? THE FAITHFUL WITNESS OF GOD'S WORD. AMEN. HE WAS GOD'S WORD MADE MANIFEST: SAINT JOHN THE 1ST CHAPTER.

THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 9-67  SUNDAY_  60-1204M

94    He said here, "I am He that was, He that is, and shall come, the Almighty."
Sure, He had a threefold Being on the earth. When He was on earth He was a threefold Being. On earth He was a Prophet. He's also in heaven, a Priest. And when He comes back to the earth again, He'll be a King: Prophet, Priest, and King; He that was, which is, and shall come. "He that was," was Jesus, a Prophet, "He that was now," is a Priest, making spiritual sacrifices, a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities, and disclose Himself and proves that He's in the midst of us: Prophet, Priest, and King, but One God.

THE.REVELATION.OF.JESUS.CHRIST_  JEFF.IN  ROJC 9-67  SUNDAY_  60-1204M

196    When He was on earth He was a prophet, the Word; "the faithful witness," the Bible calls Him, a little later; a faithful witness is the prophet. He was Priest, and when... He's Priest now. And when He comes, He'll be King.

If you'll get over and read Revelation 15:3, you can see in Revelation 15:3. Let's turn over and see what He--if He's going to be King, if He is King when He comes. Now, we're going to Revelations the 15th chapter and the--the 3rd verse.

And they sang a song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are Thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

198    What was He on earth? Prophet. How did the people know He was a prophet? He done the sign of the Messiah, which was a prophet. Oh, blessed be the Name of the Lord. How did they miss Him? Because they were looking for something else. And He done the sign of the Messiah, and they wouldn't hear it. He was a prophet.

Moses said, "The Lord your God will raise up a prophet like me. And it'll come to pass if they not hear this Prophet, they'll be cut off from amongst the people."

He was a Prophet on earth. Now, because He was what? The faithful Witness of God's Word. Amen. He was God's Word made manifest: Saint John the 1st chapter.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us...

He was the true and faithful Witness to God's eternal Word. He was the Word, was God's Word; and being the Word, He was a Prophet. For the Word of God flowed through Him; He'd say only the things. "I can do nothing within Myself, but what the Father shows Me to do. Not Me that doeth the works, but the Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works. I and My Father are One. My Father's in Me," said Jesus, the Man, the Tabernacle.
