24-0513P_THE TESTIMONY OF A TRUE WITNESS PT-12 (THY HOUSE)

Act 16:28  But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

Act 16:29  Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

Act 16:30  And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Act 16:31  And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Act 16:32  And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

Act 16:33  And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

Act 16:34  And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

*AND THAT'S HOW YOU WOULD COME IN THE FAMILY OF GOD… BUT YOU'RE BORNED IN THE CHURCH OF GOD.

OUR.HOPE.IS.IN.GOD_  NEW.YORK.NY  SATURDAY_  51-0929

E-6    …..I've been in the Branham family for forty years; they never asked me to join their family. I was borned in the Branham family. And that's how you would come in the family of God. It's not by joining church; I have nothing against that; that's all right; and you should do that. But you're borned in the Church of God. That's your birth. And you become a child of God by being reborned again, regenerated, and become a new creature in Christ Jesus, then you are a son or daughter of God. Regardless of what denomination church you belong to.

LAW.OR.GRACE_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-7  WEDNESDAY_  54-1006

119    Look in the parable of... Went to the wedding supper, and everybody at the wedding supper had to have on a certain garment. And he met a man there who didn't have on that kind of garment. And he said, "Friend, what are you doing here? How'd you get in?" Now see, if you know the parable. In the orients over there in the eastern country, when they make a wedding (till yet today), the bridegroom has to invite ever who he will.

And God can... "No man can come to God, or come to Christ, except God calls him first." See, it's election of God. Now, watch close.

LAW.OR.GRACE_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-7  WEDNESDAY_  54-1006

121    And then the bridegroom, if he's giving the invitation, he has to furnish the robes. And no man... Because he invites poor; he invites rich. But to make every man look the same, he has to have the same kind of robe on, the poor does, that the rich has. You get it?

Now, when God gives a poor man the Holy Ghost, it's the same Holy Ghost He gives the rich man. See, they all have to be the same, that when they come in the Presence of God, no one can say, "I'm dressed better," because it's the same Blood, and the same grace, the same Holy Ghost making you act the same way. The rich and poor has to come alike. That's exactly the parable. Notice.

And then when they come with their invitation, they... The robes was given out at the door. The man stood there; he showed his invitation, that he come and he presents it. They do it in India right now. And so, they're coming into the wedding. The porter's standing there at the door, the house man, and you give your invitation. "Yes, sir." They'll reach back here, get a robe, just a robe, and put it on him. He walks in. That shows that he has officially been invited; he's officially been accepted, and now he's a member. Amen. There you are.

LAW.OR.GRACE_  JEFF.IN  V-26 N-7  WEDNESDAY_  54-1006

124    Now, God the Father, the Holy Spirit, goes out and gives you an invitation to the Wedding Supper. See? Now, it's up to the Bridegroom, then, to furnish the robes. And He did by His own Life, giving out the Holy Ghost. And you come to the door (Amen.) with your invitation. Jesus said, "I am the Door to the sheepfold." And when you come through Jesus' Name, you receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost (Is that right?), receive the Holy Spirit, then you enter in and you become a member, a member of the family of God: A member.

You say, "A member?" Sure. "Will I become a servant?" No, you don't. You become a member. You're not servants. You're sons and daughters. We are now sons and daughters of God, a member of God's family. My, oh, my. I might live in a shack, but I'm of Royal Blood. There you are, a member of the household of God. That's Scripture. That's what the Scripture says. "What manner of love the Father has bestowed on us (See?), that we should be called the sons of God." Oh, my. There they are, the membership.

BUT WHEN THE SON OF GOD DIED, THE LIFE THAT WAS IN HIM WAS NONE OTHER BUT GOD, TO COME BACK AND ADOPT US INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD.

THE.ENTOMBMENT_  JEFF.IN  ER 55-72  SATURDAY_  57-0420

44    Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Job, all the prophets, they trusted and believed that there was coming a resurrection, that the Redeemer was coming. They prophesied of Him. Enoch prophesied of Him, rested solemnly, sealed his testimony with it. Isaac, Jacob, Daniel, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, they rested solemnly upon the time that the Messiah would come. And they died and their souls went into Paradise. They could not go in the Presence of God, because (We had it last night.) that the blood of bulls and goats could not forgive sins; it only covered sin, speaking of a day when the perfect Sacrifice; 'cause the blood in the animal could not come back to the worshipper, for then he would have not ceased to offer sacrifices of that type.

But when the Son of God died, the Life that was in Him was none other but God, to come back and adopt us into the family of God. And now we are children of God, the Life from His Blood.

THE.ENTOMBMENT_  JEFF.IN  ER 55-72  SATURDAY_  57-0420

47    Now notice quickly as we follow. When back in the Old Testament, and those who believed and worshipped, and died in the faith, waiting for that time... The reason those prophets did that, and wanted to be buried in Palestine, they knew that the resurrection was not going to be in Egypt. It was going to be in Palestine alone.

That's what I say tonight. I've got all kinds of names; I don't care what people call me; that doesn't mean a thing to me. The only thing that I want to do is know this: that I have been dead, and my life is hid in Christ, through God, and sealed by the Holy Ghost; that when He calls from among the dead, I'll answer on that day. Bury me in Christ, for those that are in Christ will God bring with Him at that day.

THE.ENTOMBMENT_  JEFF.IN  ER 55-72  SATURDAY_  57-0420

49    How do we get in Christ? I Corinthians 12:13, "By one Spirit we are all baptized into one Body, and become fellow citizens of the Kingdom of God." We profess to be pilgrims and strangers on this earth any more, not seeking these worldly things, but looking for the coming of the blessed King to take over the domain from sea to boundless sea, when He comes in His glory. Certainly, we look for His coming.

THE.ENTOMBMENT_  JEFF.IN  ER 55-72  SATURDAY_  57-0420

50    And then no doubt in my mind, but that's what Jesus had in His mind when He was here on earth, was that infallibility of God's eternal Word. For we know that in Him dwelt the Fullness of the Godhead Body. The entire Godhead was in Him. He was both Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, but dwelt in a human form; the theophany of God, the great image of God that He made man in, then placed him in the earth... He had a body. God isn't without a body. God's got a body, and it looks like a man. Moses saw it; others saw it, and it looks like a man.

And it's just an impression, this is, of what that is. And everything on earth, the beauty, the sweetness, the beauty of the earth, is nothing else in the world but an answer to a far better than that, that waits us when we leave this world. For everything in earth is just a pattern of that which is in heaven. Everything that's good, everything that's righteous, everything that's beautiful, trees, birds, everything is just a pattern of what's in heaven.

Our own life is just a pattern. It's just a shadow, and not the real thing. It's the negative side. It takes death to develop the picture, to put us back in the theophany we come from. Then in the resurrection we come in His likeness, a resurrected body. What a beautiful; not only beautiful, but it is the real solemn truth of God's eternal Word, that we'll be like Him.

THE.ENTOMBMENT_  JEFF.IN  ER 55-72  SATURDAY_  57-0420

53    Notice. Now, Jesus, invested with all the powers of God, but when He met Satan, He never used any of His powers. He only referred to the Word. He did. He said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.'"

Then how can you say you can stay home and be just as good a Christian as you would be at church? You can't do it. Read the Word. The Holy Spirit feeds on the Word. The Bible is God's spiritual diet for His church. And the Holy Spirit is the One Who brings It to you and places It in the heart; and with thanksgiving you water It. And every Divine promise will produce just exactly what God said it would do. It's got to. It's His Word, and It's Life.

Heb 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Heb 11:2  For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Heb 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Heb 11:4  By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
Heb 11:5  By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Heb 11:8  By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Heb 11:9  By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
Heb 11:10  For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Heb 11:11  Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
Heb 11:23  By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
Heb 11:24  By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
Heb 11:25  Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Heb 11:26  Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
Heb 11:27  By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Heb 11:28  Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
Heb 11:29  By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
Heb 11:30  By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
Heb 11:31  By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
Heb 11:32  And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
Heb 11:33  Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
Heb 11:34  Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
Heb 11:35  Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
Heb 11:36  And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
Heb 11:37  They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
Heb 11:38  (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
Heb 11:39  And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Heb 11:40  God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
