22-1017P_PERFECT STRENGTH IN PERFECT WEAKNESS PT.17 (OUR SUFFICIENCY NOW)

2Co 12:7  And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

2Co 12:8  For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

2Co 12:9  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2Co 9:6  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

2Co 9:7  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

2Co 9:8  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

2Co 9:9  (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

2Co 3:1  Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

2Co 3:2  Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

2Co 3:3  Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

2Co 3:4  And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward:

2Co 3:5  Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

2Co 3:6  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

2Co 3:7  But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

2Co 3:8  How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

2Co 3:9  For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

2Co 3:10  For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.

2Co 3:11  For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious.

2Co 3:12  Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

OUR SUFFICIENCY NOW

276    God is your joy. God is your strength. Knowing the Message, knowing the Truth, that's our sufficiency now. He is my all-sufficiency. In Him, all things I have need of is in Him. That's our strength. "My help cometh from the Lord." You Christians, look to Him for your joy, look to Him for your strength, look for Him for your happiness. He is my peace. He is my joy. He is my love. He is my Life. That's a Covenant, the Token upon the door!

HE IS OUR ALL-SUFFICIENT STRENGTH.

God won't be undersold on anything. No, sir. You can't do this, because God sees to it. His Son became sin offering that He might buy--now take sinners and make sons of God out of them. What a beautiful thing that is. Now. Yes, sir.

E-70    He--He gave his strength. He became weak that He might be our strength. He is our all-sufficient Strength. We don't need no other strength but the strength of the Lord Jesus. "He is my Strength from day to day. Without Him I would fall," said the poet. How wonderful.

What you forsake... What you receive for what you have forsook, my... Forsake the world. Forsake your own ideas. Forsake your doubts. Forsake your flusterations. Forsake it, and receive Him. Believe Him.

THE PRESENCE OF GOD BEING RECOGNIZED AMONG US. THAT'S WHAT WE OUGHT TO LIVE FOR.

112    We got better churches, better buildings and everything, but where is our strength, spiritually speaking? Oh, we could take a vote in the nation. Sure, we could do these things, but that--that ain't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the Presence of God being recognized among us. That's what we ought to live for.

57-5    What do we do? Take the Sword, which is the Word of God, pull It with what? A hand of faith, strong hand of faith, the two-edged Sword. The Bible said in Hebrews 4, It's--It's a two-edged Sword, cuts both coming and going.

Brother, what does he do? Take the Word... Take the Spirit, let the Spirit come into your heart, open up your mind, say, "Thy Word is Truth." (And you do this, sister.) "Thy Word is Truth. Lord, I ain't going to pay attention to how I feel, what anybody else says; I'm stopping up; I'm blowing out every one of my avenues. All the flusterations, and doubts, and unbeliefs that I've ever had; every feeling you ever had; all the sickness I ever had; everything else I ever had; I'm blowing them all out; I'm bypassing all them and coming right straight to my Spirit."

58-1    "Oh, Lord, come down; You said, You made me a free moral agent?"

"You are, My Son."

"All right, I open up my heart and my mind. Come in, Lord Jesus"; and grab the faith, that Sword of the Spirit, THUS SAITH THE LORD. Scream, Hallelujah. Amen. Then cut down every enemy in front of you. Amen. There it is. Cut every enemy. If a--a old spooky spirit making you feel all... Cut that thing away with the Word of the Lord. Our strength is, the joy of the Lord is my strength. Get away from me. Whack him and cut him with the Word.

REGARDLESS OF HOW THE WIND BLOWS, HOW IT SEEMS THIS WAY, OR THAT WAY, OR HOW MANY THREATS COMES FROM THE OUTSIDE WORLD, KEEP YOUR MINDS ON WHAT JESUS SAID.

FAITH_  CHICAGO.IL  SUNDAY_  53-1213E

To you dear Philadelphian people, regardless of how the wind blows, how it seems this way, or that way, or how many threats comes from the outside world, keep your minds on what Jesus said. He give us a promise; it's already ours. I don't care how great the opposition looks. God will fulfill His Word. Let's look to the Word of God. It's here for us.

E-41    "I have give it to you already. Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe you receive it, you shall have it. Whatever you ask the Father in My Name, that will I do. (Yes sir.) Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. The things that I do shall you also."

Here it is again, "If ye abide..." oh, I like that word, "Abide," not run here, and run there, and run here, and run there. But, "If ye abide in Me and My Words abide in you, then ask what you will, and it'll be given unto you." That's right. "If ye abide..." I like the abiding Church, don't you? Constantly abiding, Jesus is mine. You sing the old hymn. God has promised it; it's ours. Every man and woman in here has a right right now to claim your healing.

77    Mechanics ain't what runs the automobile. It's the dynamics that runs it.

78    The mechanics don't run the church; it's the dynamics, the Holy Ghost that gets into this Word. It's not a seminary that teaches you all the theology and the Greek interpretations. But it's the dynamics of the Holy Ghost in there, to set That afire and to bring it to pass, and to make it live just exactly what the promised Word is for this hour. Not the mechanics; the dynamics! It takes mechanics and dynamics, the Word and the Spirit, they are the One that gives Life.

79      What God promised for the hour, look for it to be fulfilled. You must look to Him, because He is the Word. And the only way you can look to the Word, is look to Him. Look to Him, He is the Word, and the Word promised for this day is to be fulfilled this day. Noah's time could not be filled this day; it was only a type, Moses' time, and so forth. But this is the day that God has promised these things that we're now enjoying, these things that we're now seeing, that the world is laughing at, this great momentous power of the Holy Spirit that can change a sinner's heart, that can take a lukewarm church member and give him a testimony that will set the church afire, from where he come out of. It's the dynamic that got into the Word.

156      Now the stabilizers has been put on the ship. Great fearful waves are out here before us; but we know, just beyond that wave yonder, we're nearing the shore. See? We're nearing the shore. Just stay stabled. Just stay in the Word. Stay with God. No matter how you feel, what anything else; stay right with the Word. Let--let--let it stay stable, when you see all these great big old clouds around us, and storms a coming, and atomic bombs, and everything else they're talking about. But our stabilizer is right straight in the Word. God said it would be here; we'll crest every one of them. Yeah, we'll go right over the top of them. Yes, indeed! They, they can't sink us. They can't drown us. You put us in the grave; we'll come out again. That's just all there is to it. There ain't no way in the world to keep it down there. We'll crest every one of them, 'cause our great Chief Captain is calling at the other side.
