22-0718P_PERFECT STRENGTH BY PERFECT WEAKNESS PT.6_(HE IS GOD OF OUR PHYSICAL & SPIRITUAL STRENGTH)
2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2Co 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1Co 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
1Co 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
1Co 1:22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
1Co 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
1Co 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
1Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
1Co 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
1Co 1:31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

OUR STRENGTH FOR OUR PHYSICAL.
• God taken the body of Christ and set it on His right hand of power
above, and He sent the Holy Ghost back. And It's going around, looking out the Church. And
when they come together, it'll have to be the same body, same signs, same
wonders, same baptism, same signs and wonders, same Gospel. Amen. That's
right.

And after that experience he really had the victory then. He
got to be ninety and nine years old, almost a hundred. God appeared to him in

• The word comes from the word, the Hebrew word, "El

Shaddai, the Almighty, the Strength Giver, the Nourisher.
Like the mother to the baby. When the little baby is fretting and sick, the
mother pulls it up to her bosom, and it nurses her strength and her life into
it. And another thing it does, it means He's a Satisfier. While
the little baby is nursing, it's satisfied while it's a nursing. It ain't
well yet, but it's satisfied as long as it's a drawing from the mother. And
God is El Shaddai, the Bosom, not one breast, two breast.
• He was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes we were healed. He is God of our strength
for spiritual. He's God of our strength for our physical. And no
matter which one you need of it, move up to the breast and take a hold of it,
God's Word, and go to nursing from It, you'll come back to health and strength.
The strength of the Holy Ghost lays in God's promise...?... Take up
there one time and take a hold.

***HE COULDN'T
USE ONE THING MOSES HAD.
• 151 Look
at Moses, the young intellectual man. Oh, he was a scholar. He was so trained
in all the wisdom of the Egyptians till he could teach the Hebrews. He could
teach the Egyptians. He could teach anybody, because Moses was a great man,
smart fellow. Oh, he was powerful man.
• 153 We
know he was strong and well trained, so he took upon himself, seeing the need
of the day... Oh, may God let this sink home. Seeing the need of the day, Moses
with his intellectual powers and his ability that he had to do it with... He
was a smart man. He was the coming Pharaoh. He had psychology. He had--he had
power. He had physical strength. He had--he had everything. So he said,
"I'm well equipped. I know all of it. And if there's a man in the land
that's able to do it, I am. So I'm the man of the hour, so I'll step out."
And he went out to accomplish a work that was right and in the will of God, and
he offered his natural abilities. And God refused it. He couldn't use one
thing Moses had.
• He couldn't use it then, nor He--neither can He use it now. God cannot
use our natural abilities. We've got to get ourselves and our abilities out of
the way and surrender to the will and power of God.
BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS OUR TEACHER. SURE IT IS. GOD SENT THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BE
TUTOR OVER THE CHURCH.
• 155 Say,
"Well, brother, I can preach." He can't use that as long as you can

know. I'm a teacher." Well, as long as you're the teacher, why, He won't
get very far. But the Holy

Church.
• Some people go to school for years and
years and years. What do they do? Read articles out of the "Upper
Room," and so... (Oh, that's good.) You take the "National Sunday
School Lesson." I have nothing against that. That's Words of God, and
things, but it's put together with intellectuals. It's got to come by the power and the resurrection
of Christ, and you cannot depend on your natural abilities.

I... Glory to God. I just received the Holy Ghost the other night. Hallelujah.
You're going to make me to do so-and-so." God can't use a bit of that. No.
Whenever you get licked and realize you're licked, and then come on back and
humble yourself. Get weak, find out you're human. And there's none of your
intellectuals can do to... Human
weaknesses will never be used of God; God by the human weaknesses pours Himself
into you, then He uses Himself. You just become an instrument. Certainly.

appeared as God to the human race in the beginning, He has to continue on under
those Names and under that provision. If He didn't, He certainly told something
was wrong when He appeared to the human race and said that's what He was.
And look what you'd make God then: just a man. You'd make Him a liar.
And if the redemptive Names did not apply to Jesus, then He isn't the Saviour.
And if all these redemptive Names was in Jesus, well, then He's the same
yesterday, today, and forever. And so there's no way out of it. And you
have--can't... They're inseparable. If Jehovah appeared as Jehovah that--that will provide
the sacrifice, then He appeared Jehovah that will heal, Jehovah that is our
banner, Jehovah that is our shield, Jehovah that is our strength.
And Jehovah is our
praise, and all these different names that he appeared in, He has to remain
that, because He introduced Himself to the human race by those Names.
You see it?

* GOD CAN
MAKE STRENGTH OUT OF WEAKNESS.
110
Now, bound... God passes the nobles and gets the weakness. God
passes those who thinks they're something to take somebody that don't know
nothing to order to work His purpose in their life. That's what we get.
God said to Paul, "My strength is
perfect in your weakness. My--My strength becomes more perfect as you become
more weaker. More you can yield to Me the better I can use you.
The more you can forget about your education, the more you can forget about
your denomination, the more you can forget about your stuff and yield yourself
to Me, the more I can use you. 'Cause you become weak,
I'll--I'll make My own purpose strong."
God can make strength out of
weakness. That's the reason He always does it. When He chose His
disciples...
*HE IS OUR
STRENGTH. WE RELY UPON HIM
• 141 Them who is standing for Him and
with Him, this great Spirit (Holy Spirit that's prophesied) will be the
strength of him that stands at the gate in the battle. He is our Strength. We
rely upon Him; not upon culture, not upon education, not upon things of the
world: "Not by power, not by might, but by My Spirit, saith the
Lord." The Church rests solemnly in that. "He will be the
Strength of him that stands in the gate." Not his
theological background, not his denomination, but the Holy Ghost will be his
Strength. He'll be the one that'll stand at the gate. He'll rely upon the strength of
the Holy Spirit to turn the alien away.

*BUT HE
CHOSE TO MAKE CHRIST THE EXAMPLE OF US, FOR US, AND HE BROUGHT HIM IN HUMILITY.
113
Who would
think of the humility of His own Son when He was born in a manger, in a manured
barn, in the cow stall, and was wrapped in swaddlings cloth? See, He could've come
through a palace, He could've come down the corridors of heaven, and all--a
full Angel salute. But He chose to make Christ the Example of us, for us, and
He brought Him in humility.
He never trained Him in the schools of this world, but He
trained Him by His Own power to--so He could completely yield Himself, not to
the thoughts of man or the strength of the world, but yield Himself to the
power of God.
1Co 2:1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 1Co 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
1Co 2:3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
1Co 2:5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
1Co 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
1Co 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
1Co 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
1Co 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
1Co 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Psa 118:5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.
Psa 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
Psa 118:7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.
Psa 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Psa 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
Psa 118:10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
Psa 118:11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
Psa 118:12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
Psa 118:13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
Psa 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
Psa 118:15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
Psa 118:16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
Psa 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
Psa 118:18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
Psa 118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:
Psa 118:20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
Psa 118:21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
Psa 118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
Psa 118:23 This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
Psa 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psa 118:25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
Psa 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
Psa 118:27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
Psa 118:28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
Psa 118:29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

1Co 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

perfect in your weakness.

He never trained Him in the schools of this world, but He trained Him by His Own power to--so He could completely yield Himself, not to the thoughts of man or the strength of the world, but yield Himself to the power of God.
