26-0427P_HIS UNFAILING WORDS OF PROMISE PT-4
Mat 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
*HE'S INFALLIBLE. HE'S OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT, OMNIPRESENT.

E-15 Before it could be a Word spoken; it has to be a thought.
Because a--a word is a thought made manifest when God speaks. Now, back in the beginning when God looked down through
the corridors of heaven and saw all the things that were going to happen on the
earth... Did you ever set and just draw a picture out in your mind? Now,
that's the way God did it, perhaps in the beginning. And then it seemed good to
Him, so He spoke it, and as soon as it was spoken it became a Word. The thought was expressed in a word. Now listen, once God
expresses His thought and makes it a Word, He can never take It back.
Oh, my. You see it? He
can't backup on it. He can't say, "Well, I'm sorry, I made a
mistake." He can't. He's infallible. He's
omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent. See, you and I, as we grow along,
we become educated and smarter and everything. We
advance, the human race advance; everything advances but God. He was perfect to
begin with; He will be perfect when it's all over; He's still perfect. He
can't say, "Well, I got a better way of doing it, because I've learned
more." He was perfect to start with. So there--therefore--therefore,
teaching Divine healing, how could someone say that God wasn't a Healer. When
in the beginning back under the Old Testament, in the old days which were
shadows, God could've made it perfect then. But
He--He spoke His Word it would this way and it has to be that way. He--that's
the best way out. That's the best way to bring people to it, for He knows what
is.
*IT BELONGS TO YOU. ANY
PROMISE BELONGS TO YOU, IF YOU HAVE FAITH TO APPROPRIATE IT.
123 And
if we get ourself lined up with the Word of God,
and hold on to it! “What can I, Brother Branham, what can I do to be
lined up with the Word of God?” Just take It in
your heart and believe It. Every promise is yours. It’s yours. You can
have it. It belongs to you.
124 “Every
promise in the Book,” you sing, “is mine. Every chapter, every verse, every
line. I’m trusting in His love Divine, for every promise in the Book is mine.”
See?
125 No
matter what the promise is, it’s yours anyhow, because God gave it to you.
“Whosoever will, let him come and drink from the fountains, the water of Life,
freely.” It’s yours. It belongs to you. Any promise
belongs to you, if you have faith to appropriate it. And it’ll do it, if
you’ll just believe it.
62-0120 — The Unchangeable God Working In An Unexpectable Way
*YOU MUST COME WITH AN
UNFAILING FAITH, BELIEVING THAT GOD MADE THE PROMISE.
Perfect Faith_ 63-0825E
28 Abraham
had to believe just what that Voice told him. And when he was a hundred years
old, twenty-five years later, he was stronger believing It than he was
twenty-five years ago when It was give to him. See? He believed It. And “He
staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong, giving
praise to God, knowing that He was able to perform what He had promised.” And
that’s the way, every one must be that way. You
must come with an unfailing faith, believing that God made the promise. But now,
you have to be in a position to have that faith, and that’s what we’re going to
talk on; see, to receive that faith.
*NOAH... HE BUILT AWAY ON THE
ARK, IN THE TIME OF CRITICISM. HIS.UNFAILING.WORDS.OF.PROMISE_ PHOENIX.AZ
V-15 N-3 MONDAY_ 64-0120
48 Noah. It was hard for the people to understand Noah in
his days. He heard God speak. He knew it was the Word, because he was God's
prophet. God sent him forth, to claim, "A great flood coming!" He built away on the ark, in the time of criticism. Made
no difference to Noah, how many criticized. He was the light of that day. He
was the Word of God manifested for that day; for, God destroyed the people.
49 Moses, a great, highly polished
theologian, great man, borned to be a prophet; yet, in all of his theology and
his--his book knowledge of God, could not deliver the children of Israel by
knowledge.
50 You see, the
prophet cannot go by knowledge. He's got to go by inspiration. Inspiration!
*GO RIGHT DOWN. IF YOU HOLD
THE WORD, YOU GOT HIS HAND.
FELLOWSHIP_ GREEN.LAKE.WI SATURDAY_ 62-0519
E-30 And after while... Oh,
God's always faithful when we're coming God's
provided way. Job said, "I've made my confession. I have burnt the
offering." That's exactly what God required. He worshipped God under the
shed blood. And all of a sudden then the Spirit come upon the prophet, and the
thunders roared, and the lightnings flashed, and he said, "I know my
Redeemer liveth. And in the last days... Though after the skin worms destroys
this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Whom I shall see for myself."
See, under the blood...
There set the rest of
them as far away as anything. But Job stayed under the blood with the Word
(That's it.), under the blood with the Word. No
matter how dark it gets, just keep going on. Hold to God's unchanging Word. Go
right down. If you hold the Word, you got His hand. Go on down.
THE.INFALLIBLE.WORD.OF.GOD_ CHICAGO.IL FRIDAY_ 56-0406
E-19 And a man's character is shown in his works. Or
a man shows his--his character by his works. We know that. Just like a
contractor, a contractor shows what he is by his work. For instance, if we was
going to have a great building built here in the city of Chicago, the first
thing the officials of the city board would do, they would try to select a
contractor. Just not any one that run in and said, "Well, I can do the
job, all right," they're going to get a contractor that's got a
reputation. And now, because if they didn't, maybe another contractor would
underbid that contractor. But he would put in the building bad material, and
perhaps he would build it thousands of dollars less. And then we come to find
out that the building collapsed. The first storm hit it, it went down. What do
you think the city would think about that contractor? It would ruin his
reputation forever. That's right.
Perhaps, what if it
would have been a school building, or something where many little children was
seated in the school, and the--the bad material that was put in the building
gave away and collapsed and killed hundreds of little children? What would
those parents think of that contractor, for the love of money, caring not about
his reputation, and done a job like that? Oh, my, they'd think he was a
horrible person. And he would be. No doubt he'd have to be what we would call a
scalawag, that would do a trick like that, put such a goods in a building that
had such a great price that it was to hold up. And then, with so much in common
of little children, that had to be seated in here, and would go and put bad
materials in it, and the first thing you know the foundations would give away
and away it would go. He would be an awful person to do a thing like that.
What do you think the
Los Angeles people thought of that contractor who built the Saint Francis Dam?
About twenty-five million dollars was put in it, a little lower than any the
other bidders. But all at once, when the flood waters begin to press against
the dam, the sandy conditions beneath it wasn't fit right, and the material
that went into it was not the right kind of material, and while the valleys
laid silent with sleeping people trusting in that dam, the whole thing gave
away, and hundreds of people's lives was destroyed when the waters swept down
through that valley, taking the lives of the people.
* GOD IS A GREAT ARCHITECT.
HE'S A GREAT BUILDER AS GOD PUTS IN HIS BUILDING NOTHING BUT THE VERY BEST.
THE.INFALLIBLE.WORD.OF.GOD_ CHICAGO.IL FRIDAY_ 56-0406
E-20 Now, in this we would liken the Word of God. God
is a great Architect. He's a great Builder as God puts in His building nothing
but the very best.
And I would liken this
to the story I read of the great Sydney Bridge in Sydney, Australia. Many years
ago when the--they had decided to build a bridge across the great strait of
water there, that connected North and South Sydney, many come to bid. But up
into England, came down a renowned contractor who had a reputation behind him
that he would... He wanted to build this bridge. Though his prices was high,
the people of Sydney didn't mind that; they wanted the bridge built right.
And I think every Christian ought to take the same attitude. That's right. We want to know where we're standing. We don't want our eternal destination built upon the shifting sands of some church theology, but on the eternal Word of the living God. Right. 'Cause remember, every one of you setting here tonight, stormy times is going to hit that building you're setting in tonight. That's right. Death's going to strike it, and you'd better know what kind of a sand it's built upon, or what kind of a foundation it has.
THE.INFALLIBLE.WORD.OF.GOD_ CHICAGO.IL FRIDAY_ 56-0406
E-21 God building the foundation would put nothing else but
the best that there is, 'cause God is thoughtful of His reputation. He's a God of eternity. He's a
God of heavens and earth. He will never put nothing in His architect plans
here, but what will stand the time test for eternity. Amen. Say, I better leave
that text, that... We'd get to shouting, we get to thinking that. For that's
just as true as God is true.
And now, He puts the
best, and that's His Word. And that's where I rest my hopes on tonight. My hopes is built on nothing less, than Jesus Blood with
righteousness. When all around my soul gives way, this Rock will stand forever
(That's right.), God's eternal Word.
