25-0331P_PREPARATION PT-3

Luk 2:25  And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 

2Th 3:4  And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you. 

2Th 3:5  And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ. 

Heb 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 

Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 

*THE PREPARATION OF THE CHURCH SHOULD STAND IN THAT STATUS AT ALL TIMES, THAT WE SHOULD CERTAINLY BE WATCHING FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD.

E-22    …..I just wished all the church of the living God could feel that way about it tonight. We'd just be in such a grand unity for the coming of the Lord, which I believe is near at hand now. I believe we're living in the very shadows of it.

And if He doesn't come today, I'll be looking for Him tomorrow. And if He doesn't come this year, I'll be looking for Him next year. Just whenever... I want to be looking every minute for Him coming, carrying on, just doing what I can; but still believing that He's coming any time, being prepared for it. And I think the preparation of the church should stand in that status at all times, that we should certainly be watching for the coming of the Lord.

*IT'S THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING, THOSE WHO HAVE A--A PULSATION IN THEIR HEART--BEATING, WAITING, LONGING FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN.

E-17    And for myself, I'm expecting something to happen. It is written, "When the people that are called by My Name shall assemble themselves together and pray, then I will hear from heaven." And I've been praying today, and I know that others has been praying, and I'm expecting something to happen.

There may be things happen will go right over the head of people. Many who are not ordained to life will never be able to see it.

When Jesus came, there were tens of thousands, yes, millions looking for Him to come, and He just revealed Hisself to a little handful. See, it's those who are looking for something, those who have a--a pulsation in their heart--beating, waiting, longing for something to happen. It's those who believe it'll happen, and is waiting for the event, that's who Jesus will come for, for those who love His appearing. If you love anybody, and you're expecting them to appear, you're making every preparation for it.

That's the way the Church should be tonight, making every preparation for the coming of the Lord, watching every sign post. And when you see God do something, rejoice, because it's pointing to His coming. And we're down to the--about the last sign post now. He could appear before morning.

*I WANT TO BE LOOKING EVERY MINUTE FOR HIM COMING, CARRYING ON, JUST DOING WHAT I CAN; BUT STILL BELIEVING THAT HE'S COMING ANY TIME, BEING PREPARED FOR IT.

E-8    …..Lord Jesus, forgive us of our--our ways, that maybe we fail somewhere, maybe to get the message just the way it should be. But, Father, I pray that where we have made a mistake, that the great Holy Spirit will take the words, and wind them around, and fix them into the hearts in the correct way, that they might understand that it's preparation time now before the going away of the church.

  E-9    Let us all live for that hour, Lord, live today like it might be today. And if He's not here today, we'll be looking for Him tomorrow. Keep our hearts clean from sin and selfishness. Keep our hearts clean, our souls undefiled by the Blood of Jesus Christ, that we might walk with Him and live with Him forever.

  E-71    ….. Do you believe that God is preparing now mercy before judgment is going a strike the nations? His merciful arm's stretched out over each one of you here tonight. I declare to you, in the Name of Jesus Christ, that Jesus has risen from the dead. And the things that He said in His Word, takes place here and goes just exactly the way He said. The same resurrected Lord from Calvary is here tonight to give eternal life to every one; to give eternal blessings to every one; to give to eternal peace to every one; to give salvation; to give Divine healing; to give any redemptive blessing that He died for, He's here tonight to do it to you.

*HE'LL STAND FOR TRUTH AND ONLY TESTIFY OF THE TRUTH. IF I TELL THE TRUTH, GOD WILL SAY IT'S THE TRUTH.

  E-72    And surely, Christian friend, if I was such an impostor and such an awful person, how would God confirm His Word by it? Around the world, how could it happen? God would never back up an error. God will never have nothing to do with error. He'll stand for truth and only testify of the truth. If I tell the truth, God will say it's the truth. If I tell a lie, God will back it up as a lie. He'll have nothing to do with it. He'll say nothing with it. But I never fear, because that I know it's the truth, and I speak the truth. And surely I have some conception of what I'm talking about, if God has let me do these things by His grace.

*HE SENDS MERCY, AND IF THEY SPURN MERCY, THERE'S NOTHING ELSE LEFT BUT JUDGMENT. BUT THE MERCIFUL FATHER WILL SEND MERCY FIRST.

E-31    …..But just before His--His birth, God always makes a preparation for things. Don't you believe that? I want you to listen close. I believe today with all my heart... Now, this is just Brother Branham speaking. You see? I believe that the things that you see are taking place now, is a preparation. God is preparing something just before a climax. God always warns the world, and then if they won't--will not receive warning, then there's only one thing left; that's judgment.

Noah warned the world, and they would not receive it. And all through the age, God's always warned. He sends mercy, and if they spurn mercy, there's nothing else left but judgment. But the merciful Father will send mercy first.

  E-32    Now, this time just before the coming of the Lord Jesus they had men... The church had got down to a place till it was very few that was looking for it, just unconcerned about like they are today. Just... But God always has had a remnant of people who believed him.
