23-0825A_GOD MAKING HIS PROMISE
Joh 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Joh 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
Joh 1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
E-14 And Abraham was just an ordinary man just like you and I, and he wasn't any extra good man, reason that God called him, but God called Abraham by election…..
E-15 Now, you can be a mentally worked up or emotionally worked up and just imagine your faith, but when your spirit bears record with His Spirit, and your life compares with God's Bible, you've got a pretty good conception it's all as at peace. That's right, but if it don't compare with that, then you better come back again. See? If you don't love Him with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, if sin doesn't just make you tremble at the thoughts of it, you'd better come back (see?) and be sure. No matter…

WE'RE--WE ARE ALREADY BOUGHT. THE PRICE IS PAID FOR. NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.
You might've danced in the Spirit. You might've spoke with tongues. You might've put your name on every church book in this city. You might've been baptized three times forward, backward, sprinkled. That won't have one thing to do with it, not one thing. You've got to be borned again (See?), something that takes place, a regeneration, and you become a new creation. Old things is passed away, and all things become new. You're a new look on everything. The birds sing different. Your enemies that you once couldn't stand, you love them. See? You really love them, and everything's changed. Then you know you've passed from death unto Life.
E-16 Now, not by keeping a code, not keeping creeds, not doing this: not by good works are we saved but by His grace, His mercy. We're--we are already bought. The price is paid for. Nothing you can do about it. You can no more save yourself than a leopard could cleanse his spots. All the washing and going through would just make them brighter. Yes, sir. It's a work of God. You never chose God and never did seek God. God seeks you. It's against human nature.
ABRAHAM. 56-1208
GOD KNOWS JUST EXACTLY WHAT HE'S GOING TO DO.
1-2 God has a time and a reason for that time to fulfill all His work. God knows just exactly what He's going to do. We don't. We just have to receive It as He gives It to us. But He knows, and there's nothing going to go wrong with what He--He's planned to do. It's all has to come about. There has to be sometimes rugged and hard things to only bring out the real true nature of the object.
A seed must die, rot, corrupt, smell, and go back to the dust of the earth in order to bring forth new life.

It takes the pounding of gold, turned over and over, back and forth, and pounded until all the dross is taken out of it. Not because it shines, 'cause iron pyrite, what is known as fool's gold, shines like real gold; but you put the two together... You set them out to one side, you can hardly tell them apart; but put them together, you can tell it. And the beater always has to beat till he--he sees his own image reflecting in the gold.
11-6 And God sets a time and has a purpose for everything that He does. There's nothing happens just accidentally to those who love the Lord and are called according to His calling. See, we are predestinated. And everything works just right for that; because He cannot lie, and He said that was so, that everything has its time, its season, and it has its way; and God is behind every move. And sometimes you think that everything's going wrong. It's up to us. Those things are put upon us, trials and wonderings; it's testing to see how we will react on a action.

WE FIRST WE HAVE TO THINK OF THIS THAT EVERY--EVERY WORD OF GOD IS TRUE.

E-12 I would not want to say that they were not Christians. We have no way to judge that. And God is the sole Judge of who is Christian and who's not. And we can only judge ourselves as we weigh ourself in God's bowels (That is His Word.) and see how our life compares with what His requirements is, and our desires towards that, our attitude towards what He has required us to do. So noticing that, this came on my mind: Why did the people who had the Holy Spirit in their heart would drift away from God?YOUR FAITH DOES IT AND THEN YOUR LIFE PROVES WHETHER YOU RECEIVED IT OR NOT.
GOD.MAKING.HIS.PROMISE_ BROOKLYN.NY SUNDAY_ 56-1209A
E-16 But I've noticed that His Word, how that He always keeps His Word to the person. Now, if truly you have received Christ, then there's nothing can take that away from you. It's a gift of God: Eternal Life. Now, that is, if Christ has received you. And if Christ gave you Eternal Life here and lost you down here, and Him infinite, knowing all things, He defeats His own work: He saved you when He knowed He was going to lose you, 'cause He... So He doesn't do that. See?CHRISTIANITY IS SOMETHING THAT HAS TO COME FROM THE HEART.
GOD.MAKING.HIS.PROMISE_ BROOKLYN.NY SUNDAY_ 56-1209A
E-17 ….. Christianity is something that has to come from the heart. Jesus speaking to the Pharisees, said, "Ye hypocrites, how can you say good things when out of the abundance of the heart speaketh the mouth?" Then if the heart thought one thing and the mouth spoke something else, it becomes hypocrisy. See?And now, if the church ever gets to practicing that, they'll have--they might have fewer members for a while, but they'll have better members while they're having it. God grant the day that when every man or woman will be and express just what they are.
*GOD KEEPS HIS WORD. HE'S GIVE US THE WORD FOR PATTERN.

E-18 If I didn't believe in God, I'd be here this afternoon against Him. And if I'm for Him, He's more than my life. I'd--I'd give my life for Him. See? 'Cause if it's a worthy purpose, it's worthy to live with, live for and die for. That's right. It's Christ. Now, He's--He's... Either He is the living Christ or He is not the living Christ.*BUT GOD IS OBLIGATED TO HIS WORD.

E-19 In our lesson last night, where we'll take up again tonight, the Lord willing, on Abraham, how He gave him a promise when was just a--at seventy-five years old and Sarah sixty-five; what they were going to have, this baby... And he waited twenty-five years before God ever fulfilled that promise.*GOD'S WILL IS PERFECT. AND EVERYTHING WILL FALL RIGHT INTO ITS PLACE IF YOU'LL STAY IN GOD'S WILL.
Joh 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
