Luk 1:73 The oath which he sware to our father
Abraham,
Luk 1:74 That he would grant unto us, that we being
delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
Luk 1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all
the days of our life.
Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are
in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they
be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were
created by him, and for him:
Col 1:17
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Col 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the
firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might
have the preeminence.
Col 1:19
For it pleased the Father that in him should all
fulness dwell;
Col 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of
his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I
say, whether they be things in earth, or things in
heaven.
Eph 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the
world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to
himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us
accepted in the beloved.
Eph 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:8
Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph 1:9
Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good
pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph 1:10
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather
together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are
on earth; even in him:
Eph 1:11
In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated
according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his
own will:
Eph 1:12
That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in
Christ.
Eph 1:13
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the
word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye
believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Eph 1:14
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the
purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Eph 1:15
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and
love unto all the saints,
Eph 1:16
Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
Eph 1:17
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Eph 1:18
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what
is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints,
Eph 1:19
And what is the exceeding greatness of his
power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
Eph 1:20
Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own
right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and
every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to
come:
Eph 1:22
And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to
be the head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23
Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
MY
WHOLE LIFE MUST BE BROUGHT INTO HIS PURPOSE AND TO HIS PROGRAM. EACH OF US IS
THAT WAY.
E-29
Then what should we be this morning? We are the children of His promise.
We, being dead in Christ, we're Abraham's seed and are heirs with him with the
promise.
Then no matter how much sickness comes,
how kind of a death we die, how much poverty we go through, God's purpose
cannot be defeated. He will raise us up again. "Because I live, ye shall
live also." That's our hope.

E-30 And I know today, being my birthday, that
I'm getting to be an old man. I looked at myself in the glass, and I see
that that little boy that built this tabernacle is not that little boy any
more. He's becoming an aged man, stooping shoulders, the beard turning gray,
the hair going out. But nothing can defeat the purpose of God; nothing
can. Therefore, I rest assured upon the promise, "Because I
live, ye shall live also."
I join
with Job of old, "I know my Redeemer liveth. And at the last day He
will stand on the earth." It's a purpose that God has. I must serve
this purpose. My whole life must be brought into His purpose and to His
program. Each of us is that way.
God has a purpose to where, old Abraham
could--could endure a-seeing Him Who is invisible because it was a purpose of
God that he knowed, that God gave him the Promise.
It--no matter how contrary everything
seemed, God gave Abraham that promise. So God fulfilled His promise. He did to
Abraham. He did to all of His children and He will keep His promise.

AND
IF YOU CAN FIND OUT WHAT YOUR PLACE IS IN THE PLAN OF GOD, EVEN THOUGH YOU BE
SICK AND NEARLY DEAD...
E-31
And if you can find out what your place is in the plan of God, even
though you be sick and nearly dead... You say, "I'm a Christian.
How could that be in the plan of God?" It might be in God's plan to
heal you and give you a testimony that will shake souls to the Kingdom of God.
Certainly. He lets those things happen. Maybe you had your ups-and-downs
and the enemy scorching you from side-to-side. It might have been that way. That's
all in the plan of God.
Look at Job, when he was afflicted,
sores all over him. It was all in the plan of God. But Job too, was perseverant
because he knowed that he was keeping God's Word. Nothing was going to bother
him.

*THE WORK AND THE COMPLETE PLAN OF GOD, EVERY REDEMPTIVE BLESSING WAS COMPLETED
AT CALVARY…
E-13
Now, all redemptive blessings to us, the
human race, was paid for, for us, at Calvary when Jesus died for us. We believe
that the work and the complete plan of God, every redemptive blessing was
completed at Calvary, that all of God's promises was made possible to every
human being that would accept it, when Jesus died to clear the human before God
at Calvary. I believe that every man in the world, was saved
when Jesus died at Calvary. Every sick person in the world, was healed
when Jesus died at Calvary. But now, it's a
finished work.
Now,
the thing to do is, can we get the people to see it and accept it. Therefore, Divine healing doesn't
lay upon some magic something, that someone has in their hands, or some holy
oil, or water that they sprinkle on the people. I do not believe in those
things. I--I believe that the Blood of Jesus
Christ is sufficient for every thing we have need of. See? And I believe
it's something has already been paid for.
E-14 Now, the initial and original way to
receive any redemptive blessing is by hearing the Word of God, because faith
cometh by hearing, hearing the Word of God, like the ministers preach. If
that were you and I, that would be sufficient. If the people didn't want
to believe us, why we just let them go on. But God is so good, and so
full of mercy, till after all that He sent His Word, then He sent gifts into
the church.
We all
believe that. I Corinthians 12, there is nine spiritual gifts in the
church. That's in every local body, or should be in every local body, the gifts
of healing, the gift of wisdom, the gifts of knowledge, the gift of a--a all
these other gifts is in the church. Nine different spiritual gifts is in
every local body.
Then God has gifts that He has
foreknown for each age and has placed them into the church. Now, we
find out there's five of those gifts. The first of them is missionaries
or apostles. The word "apostle" means "one sent." The word
"missionary" means "one sent." A missionary is sent, and
apostle is sent. God sends His missionary; God sends His apostles.
E-15 First is apostles, prophets, teachers,
evangelists, pastors, those five God-given gifts in the church. So each
of you people, who has a godly pastor, has a gift from God in your church, a
shepherd. "Pastor" means "a shepherd," to watch over
the flock, to teach them the Word of God.
Then these other nine different
spiritual gifts should be operating in the church to keep the church clean.
Like the Ananias and Sapphiras and so forth, the Spirit of God rise up and
call somebody out and tell them they're living wrong, and--and rebuke that sin
openly, and that's what the Holy Spirit is in the church for, to keep the
church clean and ready for the coming of the Lord. We believe that.

*FOR IF THERE WAS NO HEAVEN
TO GO TO, I'D STILL MAKE MY CHOICE TO SERVE THE LORD JESUS.
E-40
[Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] What He is, my friend, if He turns me
down at that day and tells me, says, "William Branham, you
can't come in." And if there is such a thing as having this, and I have to
go away to the lower regions of the lost, I--I--I believe that that love that's
anchored in my heart will live on, and I'll look up and say, "I love You,
Lord Jesus," just the same. For if there was no heaven to go to, I'd still
make my choice to serve the Lord Jesus. For even what remunerations
there is here on earth from His blessings, I still long to serve Him.
…..
E-41
Now, here He's more willing to do it, than you are to receive it. See?
Could you imagine Brother Bosworth expressing to this ocean out here piled
up in one tube about two foot high, or two foot across? What a
pressure there would be trying to find one little crevice to leak through. Now,
divide that by ten thousand times, and you'll find the pressure of the Holy
Spirit, trying to find that little crevice in the heart, that true faith can
leak into there and to heal you. How to glorify the Father for the death of
the Son of God...

BUT
WE WHO ARE BOND SLAVES TO JESUS CHRIST, WE ARE SLAVES OF JOY.
E-30 And
that was so at the beginning, and it's so now. Because he was deceived by
trying to sew fig leaves together to make hisself a way, and reject God's way.
And that's what he's still doing: sewing his creeds together, and making
this and that, and big churches and places to try to deceive man by. The
Bible said he would do it: "Have a form of godliness and deny the
power thereof..." So you see, it's... You've got to be a
slave one way or the other.
But we who are bond slaves to Jesus
Christ, we are slaves of joy. I'm so glad that I
got shackles on me, that shackles me away from the things of the world, that I
could become a slave to Jesus Christ, to serve Him in love. And you, my brethren and sisters, who are like precious faith, who's been
borned of the Holy Ghost, that's had the Blood of Jesus Christ to sanctify and
cleanse you from all the filth of the world, that die daily to the flesh,
crucify it, putting it away, and becoming a slave to your own body to serve
God, we look for a City to come. Blessed be the Lord.
AND IT'LL NOT BE SLAVERY ANY MORE,
BUT WE'LL BE IN THE ARMS OF HIM, AND IN THE CARE OF HIM
E-31 We are looking
for a City whose Builder and Maker is God. When this old robe of flesh we'll
drop and rise and seize the everlasting prize, and shout while passing through
the air, "Farewell, farewell, sweet hour of prayer." That's
what we look for. We look for the day that when we'll be delivered from this
old body of corruption. And it'll not be slavery any more, but
we'll be in the arms of Him, and in the care of Him, and in the image of Him
Who loved us and gave His life for us, that He might wash us by the Waters
through the Word to make us presentable in the Presence of God. His
presence goes with us; the Angels of God are encamped about those who fear Him.
And we know
that He's here tonight. And if we, all the days of our life, we serve Him
in holiness, but we're slaves to Him. If you haven't become a
slave to God yet, to Christ, a bond slave in His love, let us bow our heads,
and you think it over just a minute.
IT'S
A PLEASURE TO SERVE THE LORD JESUS, TO COME INTO HIS COURTS WITH THANKSGIVING,
TO MAKE KNOWN HIS-- HIS BLESSINGS TO THE PEOPLE.
E-2 It's a pleasure to serve the Lord
Jesus, to come into His courts with thanksgiving, to make known His--His
blessings to the people. And I don't think there's anything greater to talk
about in the world today, than Jesus Christ. Do you think so? Someone
said, not long ago, said, "Brother Branham, you brag too much on
Jesus." I don't think so. I think He's worthy of
everything I could say about Him. I just can't say enough about Him, for I know
that He's worthy of everything that I would say. And I praise Him. We... And
pray to Him. Love Him. We just can't love Him enough.
