All The Days Of Our Life Pt-6
(PURPOSE AND GOODNESS OF GOD)
Luk 1:73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
Luk 1:74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
Luk 1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
BUT LOOK AT THE GOODNESS OF GOD. HE SENDS SOMETHING ELSE. THEN HE SENDS HIS SERVANTS, PROPHETS AND SO FORTH… AND VINDICATES HISSELF AMONGST HIS PEOPLE BY BLESSINGS, AND POWERS…
E-35 Now, I want you to be just as reverent as
you can. Now, I want to ask you this vital question right now. If Jesus Christ was here, wearing this
suit that He give me, and standing with my shoes that He gave me, He couldn't do no more for you than what He's doing right
now. For His... When He was here on earth, He already with His Blood,
purchased your healing and asked you to believe it. Is that right? All He can do. See, He can't heal you
twice. He's done healed you once, so He can't do the same thing twice. He
healed all your diseases when He died.
Now, the only thing that I, or any
other minister could do, would be point you to that all sufficient Sacrifice. Is that right? A minister can
teach it out of the Word and say, "Here it is." Then after that, that
ought to enough, oughn't it?But look at the goodness of God. He sends
something else. Then He sends His servants, prophets and so forth and with the
discernment of spirit, and so forth. And--and vindicates Hisself amongst His
people by blessings, and powers, and--and resurrection powers, and by His great
works.

I LIKE TO GO PLUMB OVER MY HEAD,
DON'T YOU? JUST GET OUT THERE TO WHERE YOU CAN SWIM IN IT. THE GOODNESS OF GOD…
E-41
Right in the desert, right in the midst of the sand where there's not a
drop of water anywhere, the prophet said, "Start digging."
And right in the place where you
think it's the worst, there's where God's asked you to start digging. May be
right in your own home; start digging. May be right in your own church; start
digging.
After
while, I can see one of them hit a great big old tin can down there. "What
is this?" That's old sister so-and-so says, "There is no such a thing
as divine healing?" Kick it out; make room for water. Keep on digging.
After while,
you hit an old greasy skillet down there. That might be the pastor; kick it
out. Don't believe in Divine healing, the power of God. Get room in there so
you can get some more water. The deeper you dig, the more
water you'll have. Get all the old doubt and unbelief and things away from you,
that when the shower begins to come down through the valley, you'll get a big
portion of it.You just got a little well like that,
that's all you can have.
E-42
I like to go plumb over my
head, don't you? Just get out there to where you can swim in it. The goodness
of God... Get all the old kettles and things out of the way and... Some
of you people say, "Well, now, if I get saved, what will I have to
do?"
Well, you got saved, went over and
got the Holy Spirit; the first thing you know you dug down and say, "Ten
percent in the church." Oh, my. Throw it out of the way. Get room for more water;
just keep on digging. Make a big well,
where God can really baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fix you right.

REALIZE THE GOODNESS OF GOD.
Oh, it's simple. But if you only
knowed the blessings that you possess comes from the hand of God: the clothes that
you wear, the food that you eat.
If
you'd once mission those fields and see those little babies with their little
bellies all swelled up, laying on the street, dying with hunger, and you rake
off enough in the garbage can to feed them, you'd get on your knees and say,
"Oh, God, I've been so cruel."Realize
the goodness of God.
How many people, that would be in
hell tonight, that's set in these seats where you're setting, that would give
anything if they could take their seat back again tonight and have the
opportunity to come.

THE GOODNESS OF GOD, WE JUST TAKE IT
FOR GRANTED.
E-25
The goodness of God, we just take
it for granted.He's
so good to come to us in this last dayswhen denominations, and great moves against God, and all kinds of mechanical devicities, and everything of entertainmentto take the place
of the church. All kinds of entertainment, and yet they
turn their back on Christ. And yet He comes to us in His
goodness to reveal Himself to us as the same yesterday, today, and forever.
It's beyond anything. As those dear people sung awhile ago, it goes beyond the highest star and
reaches to the lowest hell to know His goodness, standing knocking, trying to
get in. Think of it
just a moment as we bow our heads for prayer.
E-26
Are you guilty of eating good
food, enjoying good sight, wearing good clothes, driving a good car, living in
a great nation, going to a--a good school, and all the blessings that we are
enjoying, and yet you've never looked up to see where they come from? Are
you guilty?
Won't you
tonight, while He's knocking at your door, do just enough to reach up with your
right hand, and say, "Lord, I now un--open the door. Come in, O King of
glory, and save me and open up the doors of my heart. I do my door of faith, my
door of pride, my door of indifference, my door of selfishness. All the doors
of my heart I swing open to You, oh, Lord Jesus, Who is standing present
now." Will you do it by just raising up your hand while everybody's
praying? God bless you, all over the church. There's many hands. I can't count
them all. But God sees every one.

(PURPOSE AND GOODNESS OF GOD)
UNTIL YOU BECOME A SON OF GOD, YOU
FAIL TO ANSWER THE PURPOSE THAT GOD PUT YOU ON THE EARTH TO BE.
No, matter how honest, how decent, how
moral you might be, how good you might be, what a fine sociable fellow you
might be; you still miss the calling unless you serve
the Lord Jesus and become a son and daughter of God. No, matter how good
a neighbor you might be, how good a anything you may be, that's all good and we
appreciate that. But my brother, until you become a
son of God, you fail to answer the purpose that God put you on the earth to be.
That's right.

WHEN
WE COME TO CHURCH- WE OUGHT TO LAY ASIDE EVERY THOUGHT, EVERY THING OF THE
WORLD…
E-16
Oh, if we didn't have so many other things on our mind. You know,
sometimes we'll come to church, thinking about, "Tomorrow I gotta do
this; the next day, I've got to do this." When we come to church, we
ought to lay aside every thought and every thing of the world, and enter into
fellowship with Christ and worship: meditating, worshipping in our hearts, and giving songs and praises to Him, thinking of His goodness, and what He means to us, worshipping
in the Spirit, singing spiritual songs, making melodies in our heart.
Even the Bible said, "If there's any afflicted, let them sing songs." Be happy; be in meditation, always expecting God
at any moment to appear to you…

SERVE
THE LORD FOR ONE PURPOSE, BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM
E-27 Now, Daniel said, "I'm going to purpose in my heart. No
matter how much pressure they put on me, how much they laugh and say I'm a
holy-roller, that won't bother me a bit. That won't phase me one bit. I'm going
to stay true to God no matter what comes through bad." That's the way. Then you're going to get
somewhere when you start with that attitude.
Remember, it's
the motive that you have towards anything that determines what you're going to
get out of it. It's your motives. If your motives is right,
you'll be all right. But always make your motives right. Serve the Lord for one purpose, because you love Him, not
because you're afraid of hell, not because you're afraid of dying, but because
you love Him, Who loved you when you were unlovable. That's it. THE.HANDWRITING.ON.THE.WALL_ JEFF.IN

WE
WANT TO KNOW THAT IT'S ALL THE GOODNESS OF GOD.
So now, we--we want to know
that it's all the goodness of God. And
as our gracious brother Oral Roberts has well placed it, "God is a good
God." He certainly is. And now, we know He's a good God, but we don't
want to depend too much on that. Remember, He's a
God of justice too. Because His holiness
makes Him justice, and His laws must be met, His requirements.
And so then, if He is a good God, He has to be good.
E-5
Many times we get mixed up on what goodness is. We get mixed up on
what sympathy is, compassion. Watch this just a moment for compassion. How
many believes that Jesus Christ was compassion? Why, certainly He was.
Now, He went down to the
pool of Bethesda, and there laid multitudes. It takes two thousand to make one
multitude. So there was multitudes of people laying there, lame, blind, halt,
withered, waiting for the moving of the water. And Jesus looked around through
that multitudes of people until He found a man that was, well, he wasn't
crippled. He said, "When I'm going down to the pool, somebody steps
in ahead of me."
He... His disease, he'd had it for
thirty-eight years; it wasn't going to kill him. It was retarded, perhaps TB,
or prostate trouble, or something. And he was laying on a pallet. And Jesus
made him whole, and walked away, and left that great mass of people withered,
and halt, and lame, and blind (Is that right?), and yet had compassion, a
compassionate Saviour.
E-6 Did you notice
what He said when they asked Him about it in the 19th verse? He
said, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the
Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing, that doeth
the Son likewise."
Compassionate
is to do the will of God. And that's what real Christian compassionate is, is
do the will of God. We
mix it all up today. We try to put the human element to it.
