24-0830A_CHRIST REVEALED IN YOU

24-0830A_CHRIST REVEALED IN YOU

Rev 5:1  And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

Rev 5:2  And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

Rev 5:3  And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

Rev 5:4  And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

Rev 5:5  And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Rev 5:11  And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Rev 5:12  Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
Rev 5:13  And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

THE.BREACH.BETWEEN.THE.SEVEN.CHURCH.AGES.AND.THE.SEVEN.SEALS_  JEFF.IN  SUNDAY_  63-0317E

But John wept. Here's what I think he wept for: because if no one was worthy and could open this Book of Redemption, the whole creation was lost. Here is the Book; here is the title deed; and It will be offered to the Kinsman Redeemer that can meet the qualifications. That's God's own law, and He can't defile His law--can't defy His Law, rather. See, God required a kinsman redeemer who was worthy, who was able to do it, who had the substance to do it. And the Angel said, "Now let that Kinsman Redeemer step forward."

And John looked, and he looked all over the earth; he looked beneath the earth, and there was nobody. Their creation and the--everything was lost. Of course, John wept; everything was lost.

THE.SIXTH.SEAL_  JEFF.IN  SATURDAY_  63-0323

That's the reason John wept, because if no one could get that Book, all creation, everything was gone. She'd just simply turn back to--to--to atoms and molecules and so forth and cosmic light, and not even be creation, person, nothing else, 'cause Adam lost the rights of that Book. He forfeited it when he listened to his wife, and she listened to Satan's reasoning in the stead of the Word of God. See?

It was forfeited. Then it couldn't go back into the dirty hands of Satan who tempted her out of the way; so therefore, it went back to its original Owner like any abstract deed would do (See?), goes right back to its original Owner, and that was God the Creator Who made it, and He holds it.

CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_JEFF.IN  V-3 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0728

His Presence, in the individual, with a personal vindication of Himself expressing Himself, the living Word that's promised for the day, expressing Itself through you, a vindication of the great revelation of God. Look, only in an individual, never in a group! An individual; not in a group! His identification is with an individual. You get that? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.] Not with the Methodist, not with the Baptist, not the Presbyterian, not the Lutheran, not the Pentecostals, but as an individual!

485    "I'll take one, and leave one; I'll separate them." That's right. "There'll be two in the field; I'll take one and leave one. There'll be two in bed, and I'll take one and leave one."

486    It's not a group. It is a personal vindication of a pregnated child of God, filled with the Holy Ghost, so surrendered to God that he don't care about anything else. And the Holy Spirit living Its Life, pulsating through him, showing the personal--personal vindication of the Word, Itself, expressing Itself to the people and to the world.

ACCEPTING.GOD'S.PROVIDED.WAY.AT.THE.END.TIME_PHOENIX.AZ  TUESDAY_  63-0115

176      But let that one get there and cry out, like Buddy Robinson. He stopped in the middle of the corn field. He tied up his mule. He said, "Lord, if You don't give me the Holy Ghost, when You come back you'll find a pile of bones laying right here. I'm going to stay here till I get It." That's business.

177    God always recommends to His people, His believing children, to always go in His provided way. That's God's idea, to recommend to His children, His provided way. Cry for what you have need of. He wants you to cry out.

CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_JEFF.IN  V-3 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0728

It's a personal, individual affair with the person, that Christ is revealed to them.

298    And if you say, "He's been revealed to me," and then the Life that Christ produced here in the Bible, that same Life is in Him, does not produce Itself in you, then you've got the wrong revelation.

Heb 12:2  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

24-0826P_ACCEPTING GOD'S PROVIDED WAY AT THE END-TIME PT-6 (THE LORD IS THY KEEPER)

24-0826P_ACCEPTING GOD'S PROVIDED WAY AT THE END-TIME PT-6 (THE LORD IS THY KEEPER)

Gen 22:7  And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?

Gen 22:8  And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Gen 22:9  And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

Gen 22:10  And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.

Gen 22:11  And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.

Gen 22:12  And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

Gen 22:13  And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.

Joh 12:24  Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Joh 12:25  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
Joh 12:26  If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
Phm 1:1  Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ,

*BUT YOU'VE GOT TO SURRENDER SOUL, BODY, SPIRIT, STRENGTH, EVERYTHING YOU ARE, TO THE WILL OF GOD, BECOME A PRISONER TO HIM.

ONCE.MORE_  CHICAGO.IL  V-21 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0804A

44    If God can only find one man, that's all He needs, one man that can fully surrender to Him. He don't take an army; He never did use that. He only uses a man.

ONCE.MORE_  CHICAGO.IL  V-21 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0804A

45      Now, Samson gave God His strength to use, but he didn't give God his heart. He gave his heart to Delilah, and gave his strength to God.

46    But you've got to surrender soul, body, spirit, strength, everything you are, to the will of God, become a prisoner to Him. You're going to be somebody's prisoner. You don't belong to yourself. You are somebody's prisoner. You're either a prisoner of the devil, knowing this Truth and won't surrender to it, or a prisoner to--to the world, and surrender to God, one or the other. You're either the devil's prisoner, to sin, or you're God's prisoner, to righteousness. You're one or the other.

ONCE.MORE_  CHICAGO.IL  V-21 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0804A

47      And now Samson thinks of the great victories that he had won. No doubt it come to his mind of how, that when he was a little boy, that God had vindicated him, told his mother that how that she must do; not drink strong drinks, or--or watch her diet, that she was bringing forth a Nazarite. How she combed his hair, and told him, "Son, through these locks, it's a covenant with God, that your strength will lay in there. Don't, never give it away. Don't, never give away your secret. Don't, never surrender it. Whatever you do, stay with it."

ONCE.MORE_  CHICAGO.IL  V-21 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0804A

48      Jesus Christ told the church, that, "Heavens and earth will pass away, but my Words shall never pass away. And whosoever shall take one Word from It, or add one word to It, his part will be taken out of the Book of Life." The church ought to think of that now as we stand in this chaos, in this hour just prayer... prior the Coming of the Lord Jesus, at any moment, for a Rapture.

*YOU SEE THE REST OF THE PEOPLE LIVING THE WAY THEY DO, BUT YET YOU DO NOT DO IT. YOU'RE A PRISONER. YOKED WITH CHRIST, WITH HIS WORD

CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0728

188      And to be sure, that, the whole Rapture now; Luther was a part, Wesley was a part, the prophets was a part. If they're--aren't a part... Just in the revelation that they was making up, the body, feet, toes, arms, and so forth, until the Head (which we get to that in a few minutes), see, that makes the entire Rapture. It's the Body of the Word, which is Christ. Amen!

189    Outside of That, you're lost. I don't care how good you are, or what your relationship is, or what your fellowship is, or what your organization is, you're lost, outside of that Word being in you.

190      "If ye abide in Me, the Word, My Word abide in you, then you ask what you will," because you and the Word are the same. He has the preeminences. He's got the rulership. You're a... you're a prisoner to Him. The world is dead. You have nothing more... You see the rest of the people living the way they do, but yet you do not do it. You're a prisoner. You're yoked with Him. "My yoke is easy." Yoked with Christ, with His Word. "I do that only which the... pleases the Father. And if you can't believe that I am He, then believe the Word." So perfect! Notice.

*…A PRISONER TO THE WORD AND WILL OF GOD; HE COULDN'T EVEN MOVE UNTIL GOD MOVED HIM.

PERFECT.FAITH_  JEFF.IN  V-6 N-11  SUNDAY_  63-0825E

72      Now, the identification of a Scripture Christian, these Words said Jesus: "These signs shall follow them that believe." Now, how can you call yourself a believer, a people, and deny those Words? How can you call yourself a believer and deny any of this Word? See? You can't do it. You're not a believer, therefore signs can't follow, because you just accept what you want to believe and let the rest of It... you won't--don't believe It. But you got to take the whole thing, and believe It. And when you truly believe (not make believe, but really believe), then these signs follow them that believe.

73    Oh, could you compare a Christian today with them Christians of long ago? How them disciples walked in the power of the Spirit, moved by the Holy Ghost, do it. Just a prisoner, as I preached on the other night, a prisoner to the Word and will of God; he couldn't even move until God moved him. Wouldn't you like to see a Church rise like that? It's going to; going back. It's--it's got to come. That's right. It's go-... It's on its road now, I believe.

PERFECT.FAITH_  JEFF.IN  V-6 N-11  SUNDAY_  63-0825E

74      For the Word identified, identified Himself, what He was; and the same Word identifies us. See? "If a man loves Me, he keeps My commandment. And if he says he loves Me, and keeps not My commandments (that's all of them), he's a liar, and the Truth's not even in him."

*IT'S A LIFE THAT YOU DON'T LIVE YOURSELF, BUT HE COMES IN YOU AND LIVES BY HISSELF, AND YOU BECOME A PRISONER

CHRIST.IS.THE.MYSTERY.OF.GOD.REVEALED_  JEFF.IN  V-3 N-7  SUNDAY_  63-0728

218    It's not expressions of some church that we should express something. It's a life that you don't live yourself, but He comes in you and lives by Hisself, and you become a prisoner; to any human intellectual being at all. You're led by the Spirit. And how do you know?

219      Now, you say, "I might know I was losing my mind. Maybe a man that loses his mind does that."

220    But if you have the mind of Christ, Christ expresses Himself through you, shows that it's Him and not... you've not lost your mind.

221    Some people, under illusions of things, goes out and becomes insane. Well, that, we know that's wrong. That's the devil trying to impersonate the real thing before it gets here. See? They're always a bogus. See?

222    But a real man, and to lose his own thoughts and his own thinking! Not come up blindly like that. No, sir. You come up with your right senses, and Christ takes you over and expresses Hisself. And now, to the world, you're an insane person.

223    Now, if you're insane, you're actually insane, then there's nothing, the devil can't take you in complete control. He'll make you do everything contrary to this Word.

224    But when Christ takes you over, He'll express that Word right through you, because it's Him. He is the Word! See? And then you can see the expression of Christ. Not some illusion of some sort, but a real genuine Christ expressing Himself right through you. How beautiful!

*YOU ARE A--YOU ARE A LOVE PRISONER TO THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, AND DUTY BOUND.

INFLUENCE_  CHICAGO.IL  V-21 N-6  SATURDAY_  63-0803E

115      But it's becoming to us that we fulfill all righteousness. It's got to be said somewhere. You don't look at your fame and popularity here. You are a--you are a love prisoner to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and duty bound. You're a prisoner to Him, and you can say nothing else but what the Holy Ghost says, and preach the thing that's right. Right. You become a love prisoner to Him. Then you don't care what it is, you've got to fulfill all righteousness. A minister should speak that, you Pentecostal people especially, that--that knows better than--than to let that get by like that.
WE ARE IN A REFLECTION.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

20      The physical has to die. But if you are reflecting, by your mortal life, the Light of Heaven, then you're reflecting the Eternal Life, God. Then when you die, you can no more than go to that Light, because That's what you've reflected.

21    If you are of the dark world, you reflect that, and you can do, go no other way but to darkness. See? So we are in a reflection. So, we see that. And sure as the Holy Spirit reflects Light and Life, so does death reflect darkness.

1Co 15:31  I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
Psa 140:4  Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.
Psa 140:5  The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
Psa 140:6  I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.
Psa 140:7  O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.
Psa 140:8  Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.
Psa 140:9  As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
Psa 140:10  Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
Psa 140:11  Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.
Psa 140:12  I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.
Psa 140:13  Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

24-0823A_THE MESSAGE OF GRACE PT-7 (CALLED INTO THE GRACE OF GOD)

24-0823A_THE MESSAGE OF GRACE PT-7 (CALLED INTO THE GRACE OF GOD)

Zec 4:1  And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

Zec 4:2  And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:

Zec 4:3  And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Zec 4:4  So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

Zec 4:5  Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Zec 4:6  Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Zec 4:7  Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.

Eph 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Eph 1:4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Eph 1:6  To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Eph 1:7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Eph 1:8  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Eph 1:9  Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
Eph 1:10  That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Eph 1:11  In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
Eph 1:12  That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

*HE'S ALREADY DID IT. JUST LOOK AT THE SOVEREIGN GRACE OF GOD.

THE.PROPHET.ELISHA_  CHICAGO.IL  FRIDAY_  54-0723

E-56    …..Could you imagine what He would do if He was standing here now? As far as healing people, he'd say, "I've already did that when I died at Calvary."

You say, "I'm a sinner; I want you to save me."

He'd say, "I did that when I died at Calvary. Do you accept it, now? See? I healed you when I died at Calvary. I was wounded for your transgressions, with My stripes you were healed." He can't do it doubly: He's got to do it once. And it's already finished; it's settled forever.

Now, the only thing that He can do now--or I can do, rather--is point you to Him. That's all. He's the Healer. He's already did it. Just look at the sovereign grace of God. What He's already did.

THE.PROPHET.ELISHA_  CHICAGO.IL  FRIDAY_  54-0723

E-57    Now, if it would be me or you, you would say, "If they can't take my word for it, let them go on. But not God. He sends gifts into the church. He--He persuades. He's not willing for any to perish. See? And He sends then, signs of healing, and miracles, and everything among the people, trying to get them to believe.

*…CALLED INTO THE GRACE OF GOD, BY THE HOLY GHOST

THE.UNCONDITIONAL.COVENANT.THAT.GOD.MADE.WITH.HIS.PEOPLE_  PHOENIX.AZ  SATURDAY_  54-0306

E-45    Watch! God was then in Spirit. How could God be tore apart? But one day God was made flesh and dwelled among us, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Emmanuel. And then there at Calvary, the covenant God wrote with us, He took the Christ to Calvary and tore Him apart, soul and body. And He took His body up to set at the right hand of His Majesty, and sent the soul back here, or the Spirit on earth to make a covenant to carry out the Gospel.

And the same dovetail power that Jesus Christ had, He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And the Church is given a covenant. The covenant is the baptism of the Holy Ghost which is the Seed of Abraham, bringing Him to us. And then God making this covenant that every man that's called into the grace of God, by the Holy Ghost, has the same promise that Abraham had of Eternal Life...?... Look.

THE.UNCONDITIONAL.COVENANT.THAT.GOD.MADE.WITH.HIS.PEOPLE_  PHOENIX.AZ  SATURDAY_  54-0306

E-46    Now, you can't have a piece of paper that just impersonates it. You can't have a piece of paper that makes just something like it. It's got to be the same piece of paper. And the same Spirit that was on Jesus Christ has come back on His Church, doing the same signs, the same wonders, the same Holy Ghost, the same power. It's the covenant that God has given to them.

And Jesus died there in the evening time when the sun was going down, confirming this covenant. And the Holy Ghost is on the Church tonight leading the Church, just like that He was here when He was leading Christ. The same way... The same ministry Christ had is in His Church tonight: same signs, same wonders, same Spirit. Same kind of works that Jesus did here on earth the Church has to do the same thing. If it's not, it is not the Seed of Abraham; it's not the Church of Jesus Christ: can't be.

*THE GRACE OF GOD HOLDS US. BUT HE WANTS TO GET A CHURCH THAT'LL OBEY HIM, A PEOPLE THAT'LL TAKE HIS WORD AND SAY IT'S THE TRUTH…

And neither does this church come to its full value. The grace of God holds us. But He wants to get a church that'll obey Him, a people that'll take His Word and say It's the Truth, regardless of your organization. He wants a people that'll not say, "Well, I'm just as good as you are. I'm Presbyterian; I'm Methodist; I'm Catholic; I'm as good as you are." That's not grace; that shows there's something wrong.

95    But a person, regardless, that'll read God's Word and see that you've got to be borned again and filled with the Holy Ghost, they'll believe that; they'll take it by the Word. They'll take the Word exactly what It says.

*LET'S PUT OUR AFFECTIONS ON CHRIST AND LOOK TO CHRIST AND HIM ALONE (AMEN.), AND HAVE FELLOWSHIP ONE WITH ANOTHER…

FATHER.THE.HOUR.HAS.COME_  CHICAGO.IL  TUESDAY_  56-1002A

E-39    Now, to think a church being built on that, let the world creep in. Now, certainly it'll rise the indignation of a real true servant of God. Sure, it's wrong; let's get the thing out of there. Get away from this old lukewarm, halfway, say a little prayer of a morning, little prayer at night, and go to bed, and get up the next morning. No wonder we're getting worldly. No wonder world sneaks into this church. Because we don't say a prayer; there's no more agonizing; there's no more staying before God. There's no more digging out, cleaning up. We need a old fashion revival. We're just fooling ourself... "We're the Assemblies. We're the Pentecostals. We're the Oneness. We're the Trinities. We're this, that, or the other. We don't have anything to do with that other group."

There's where the Holy Spirit leaves you, right there. When you get that in your mind, brethren, you just might as well go back to the altar, because that's the place you belong. That's right. Amen. That's how worldliness creeps in. Let's forget about it. Let's put our affections on Christ and look to Christ and Him alone (Amen.), and have fellowship one with another, while the Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin. If He'd come to mark today, every one of us without a fault, who would He mark?

*BUT NOW, WHAT YOU ARE, YOU ARE BY THE GRACE OF GOD, WHAT GOD HAS.

THE.RESURRECTION.OF.JAIRUS.DAUGHTER_LOUISVILLE.KY  WEDNESDAY_  54-0331

E-9    What is it? It's the Lord Jesus, that loves us all. He loves all you. He's right here tonight. See? He might not--He might deal with you in another way, but it's the same Lord. And He might deal with you in a loving heart. That's the same Lord. He might give you a--a passion for lost souls. It's the same Lord. See? "But He sets some in the church: teachers, apostles, prophets, gifts of healing, working of miracles; and all those things are set in the church. Do you believe that? I never did say where they'd be set out of the church. He set them in the church for the perfecting of the church and to be in the church until He comes again. Now, in those things...

Now, many times, of course, I know Christian friends, we have a lot of impersonations on those things. That's to be expected. It's always. We said, other night in one of our lessons, when Israel went up, a mixed multitude went with them. That's true. But now, what you are, you are by the grace of God, what God has. You're a Christian, not because you sought God, but because God sought you. That's right. See?

Man can't seek God. He just can't: it's--it's his nature to be a sinner. So he... Just like the pig; tell him he's wrong eating slop, you couldn't do it. He's a pig to begin with. So you couldn't change that. He's just the begin... But God seeks after man. And man comes to God. And when he comes to God, He gives him Everlasting Life.

*ANY SEED OF ABRAHAM EVERY HEARS THE WORD OF GOD, THAT SATISFIES THEM.

 JEHOVAH.JIREH_  PHOENIX.AZ  TUESDAY_  55-0222

E-39    Oh, sick people, you setting here tonight, cots and stretchers, and wheelchairs, come up to El Shaddai, take a hold of the Word, there go to drawing, go to smiling. "I'm the Lord that healeth thee. All heavens and earth shall pass away, but My Word shall never pass away." See it? Start drawing from there, and watch what happens. Feel if your strength doesn't begin to come back. The first thing you know, you'll be satisfied. "Yeah, I believe He's going to do it." He will do it. Just lay right with it. Stay with it. God will do it, for He's El Shaddai, the strong One, the all-sufficient One, the Satisfier. Amen.

Any seed of Abraham every hears the Word of God, that satisfies them. That's right. If God said so, don't argue about it. Just believe it. That's all. I love that, don't you? God, the Satisfier, how that we draw from Him and are satisfied, while we are drawing.

*BY THE GRACE OF THE LORD, TO A LOST SINNER, UNBELIEVER

SPEAK.TO.THIS.MOUNTAIN_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  57-1215

E-17    Just some time ago, about four months, I guess, Brother Wood, that lives next door to me; he was a Jehovah Witness, forbidden to go to the church. He had a boy that had a paralyzed leg from--from polio. And at Louisville, Kentucky (where we go next), there was a--a meeting out there at the high school gymnasium. And there was great things the Lord did. His wife is Methodist, or, no, I believe the Anderson Church of God, called the First Church of God. And you probably get the program up here: "Shady Green Pastures." It's a nationwide broadcast, Brother Meekler the pastor.

Then... Brother Wood did not believe in no such stuff. But when come to the meeting, he seen something take place; his heart was strangely warm. I went overseas, come back. And one night, at Cleveland, Ohio, him setting a city block from me, the Holy Spirit turned and said, "You, your name is Wood, and you're from a certain city in Kentucky. You're Jehovah Witness by faith. And you've got a boy there that has a paralyzed leg, drawed up underneath. And your wife suffers with a horrible tumor. THUS SAITH THE LORD, they're healed. They didn't know what to do. They turned and looked at each other, and went on with the meeting. Of course, I followed on.

In a few moments she put her hands down to her side and said, "Banks (that's her husband), look here; there's no knot left. Said, "David get on your feet." And the little boy jumped up, both legs just as normal as they could be.

E-18    They live next door to me. His father, being a reader in the Jehovah Witness... Now, if there's any Jehovah Witness here, no reflection. But he's excommunicated his son from their fellowship, and then said he had gone off and gone mad. Then a few years, about two years passed, Mr. Wood living next door to me, a wonderful neighbor. One day I was out cutting some grass in the backyard for a little while. And then a car drove in at Brother Wood, and he called for me to come down.
He said, "Meet my brother Lyle."

Oh, I had a very cold handshake. Said, "Howdy." And just like that, walked on, great big, strong man.
And I said, "How do you do, Mr. Wood? I'm certainly happy to meet you. I am certainly a great friend to your brother here."

And he said, "Yes," and set down. And real dyed-in-the-wool Jehovah Witness... So just a little bit, he begin... Banks begin to tell him about the things he'd seen in this meeting. And he just turned his back to us.

SPEAK.TO.THIS.MOUNTAIN_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  57-1215

E-19    Just then, by the grace of the Lord, to a lost sinner, unbeliever, said, "Mr. Wood, your wife is a black-headed woman, and you're running around with a red-headed women. You have two little boys."

He said, "I guess Banks told you that," Turned his back back to me.
But I said, "Last night when you was with her in the house, and there was a man beating at the window, and you sent her there. It's a good thing you didn't go; he would've shot your brains out.

He said, "Oh, God be merciful to me," and fell in the floor and gave his life to the Lord Jesus: Simplicity. Hundreds of sick children waiting for the vision...

SPEAK.TO.THIS.MOUNTAIN_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  57-1215

E-20    Down on the river, we went fishing with his old daddy, come down, it alarmed his father. And his father said, "If anything like that, I could see it happen, I'd believe it." On the road, he said, "Will you go fishing with me?"

I said, "If I can get a chance to get my calls all up this afternoon, I will go in the morning." On the road down it'd been raining. I said, "Every (seeing a vision)," I said, "Every stream that we cross will be muddy, but when we come to the...?... Dock, it's going to be beautiful and blue." I said, "We're going to fish, and we're not going to catch anything until the evening. I'm going to catch about twenty-five fish, weighing eight or ten pounds. You're going to catch one, and Mr. Wood, your son, is going to catch one. In the morning I'm going to catch a scale fish, large for its size. And by that you'll know that God lives and reigns."

He looked over, and winked at his son, and went on. Every word of it happened just exactly the way God said it would take place. What is it? Just simplicity, that God works in.

SPEAK.TO.THIS.MOUNTAIN_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  57-1215

E-21    Two weeks later Mr. Lyle, and Mr. Banks, and I were back again. Some of my relatives own the dock. We had fished all night with our lines, and we'd caught several big fish. And the next morning we had nothing. That day we baited our lines, was staying away, was kind of getting just a little mental rest. I was catching sunfishes to put on the line. And all of a sudden, while setting on the side of the boat with the little fly line, pulling up the little sunfish for bait, the Spirit of the Lord came down. And I said, "THUS SAITH THE LORD; it shall come to pass that there you'll see the glory of God, for there is a little animal somewhere that will be raised from the dead." And when I come to, I wondered what I had said.

Mr. Wood laid his line down, say, "Repeat that Brother Branham?"
I said, "What did it say?"
He said, "About the little animal."

SPEAK.TO.THIS.MOUNTAIN_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  57-1215

E-22    Well, I had in my mind that something was going to take place at home. I have a mixed audience, but I want you to understand this. We're a little skeptic of kitties. I guess they're all right, but I--I just don't care too much for cats: none of the Branhams. So we... all--all... We never had one around the house. So my little girl and little neighbor girl come up.

And she said, "Oh, daddy, someone has poisoned a poor cat." And said, "It's frothing out here. Won't you let us keep it?" Said, "We've got it in a box."

And I looked. I seen the condition. So I said, "All right. Just put it in the shed. And of course, the next morning we had a bunch of kittens. And my little boy, Joseph, kinda--kind of a rough, little fellow, he picked one of the little kittens up and squeezed it so hard till he squeezed the breath from the little fellow. And he threw him down, didn't know what to do with him.  And I thought, "You know, maybe the Lord's going to raise that little kitten. It's probably died, and He's going to raise it up."
Well, Brother Banks said, "That would be wonderful." And the other Brother Wood said, Brother Lyle, had just been converted, and I had just baptized him, and he had received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

SPEAK.TO.THIS.MOUNTAIN_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  57-1215

E-23    And so, we let it go, and all of that night and caught no fish. The next morning we pulled into a little cove, and were going to try to catch some large sunfish to go home. While I was setting there casting a line, couldn't get a bite. And Mr. Lyle Wood pulled real hard till he let his line lay too long, and a little sunfish about that long, little green-looking fellow... You call them here "bream," I believe. Oh, he had swallowed that big hook all the way down in his little belly.

And so Mr. Wood looked up and said, "Looky there, all the way down." And he just got a hold of the line wrapped around and pulled. And when he did, the little belly come out, the stomach; part of the gills come out. He pulled the hook out. He looked at him and throwed him over in the water. He flopped two or three times and turned his little fins out, turned over sideways.

He said, "Little fellow, you shot your wad." And the winds a blowing, floated the little fellow back to the...?... We set; we fished for some, oh, I guess to say, half hour.

And I was... I said, "It's strange, we better move to another location, because the fish are not biting here."

And Brother Bank Wood said, "Let me just try once more." He threw--threw his line over behind some pad.

SPEAK.TO.THIS.MOUNTAIN_  BROOKLYN.NY  SUNDAY_  57-1215

E-24    And I was setting there, looking at that little fish laying back in the trash there on the water, been dead for some half hour, with his little belly out of his mouth and his gills had done turned white. And I was fishing there.

Now, this may seem fiction, but truth is more stranger than fiction. And as I looked at the little fellow, just then coming down the hollow in those mountains, I heard like a wind. And it come swooping down. And all a sudden It covered me over. And I'd just been talking on this Scripture with them. And just then Something said to me, "Call for that little fish." And before I knew...
Brother Banks said, "What's the matter, Brother Branham, you're white?"

And I said, "Little fishy, your creator, Jesus Christ, makes you alive. And as I'm standing in this sacred pulpit, over the Holy Bible as my witness, God, if that little fish...?... to hisself, swam through the water just as hard as he could go, perfectly well.

Mr. Lyle just pitched plumb over in the boat. He said, "Brother Branham, that's a rebuke to me because I said to the little fellow, 'You shot your wad.' I...?... for that."

I said, "No, Brother Wood. He just showed how simple He can work here. He's concerned about everything: the fishes, the...?... He's the God of the harvest. He's the God of all eternity. It's His Word.

24-0819P_ACCEPTING GOD'S PROVIDED WAY AT THE END-TIME PT-5 (THE LORD IS THY KEEPER)

Gen 22:6  And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.

Joh 12:27  Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
Phm 1:1  Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ,

*…EXPERIENCE ALONE ISN'T ENOUGH. IT'S GOT TO BE EXPERIENCE ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF THE LORD.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

78      See where he was. What a--what a thing it must have been for Paul! See? All that he had been trained to do was vice versa. So now, with--with all the education he had, it--it was just become naught to him.

79    Now, he knew that he had an experience. So here is another good lesson for us, that, experience alone isn't enough. It's got to be experience according to the Word of the Lord. So, him seeing this, and know that It was a great Something, then, that somebody else had received It before him, he took three years and six months down in the--the desert in Arabia; taking the--the Bible, as It was then, the Old Testament, and going down there, to--to compare this experience that he had had, and see if It was Scriptural.

*THE LOVE OF GOD HAD BEEN SO TREMENDOUS, AND SUCH A--A REVELATION, THAT HE COULD NOT GET AWAY FROM IT.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

80      Now what if he said, "Well, I guess that was just a little blowover," and went on? "I'm going to follow my intellect"?

81    Now, he had to become imprisoned to something, a prison. So after comparing it, and seeing, no wonder he could write the Book of Hebrews, in a type. See? Three years and a half down there, laying in the Word, and finding out that the very God that called him was taking him back, and changing all of his intellects, changing all that he ever thought, all that he trained to be. All his ambition, just wiped it away from him, and he became a prisoner. The love of God had been so tremendous, and such a--a revelation, that he could not get away from It.

82    That's the true experience of every real believer who meets God. You--you come in contact with Something that's so great, that you... that--that you become a--a prisoner, to everything else. See? You--you get away from everything, to imprison yourself to This.

*…BUT WHEN IT COMES TO A TIME THAT WHEN YOU--YOU--YOU REALLY FIND THE REAL THING, YOU--YOU JUST SELL OUT EVERYTHING ELSE, AND YOU CLOSE YOURSELF IN TO THIS.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

83      It's expressed one time where Jesus said, "The Kingdom of Heaven is something like a man buying pearls. Then when he finds that great Pearl, he sells all that he's got, to get that One."

84    And that's the way here. You--you have an intellectual conception, you have a--a--a--a theological experience; but when it comes to a time that when you--you--you really find the real Thing, you--you just sell out everything else, and you close yourself in to This.

*HE--HE FOUND OUT THAT HE WAS HARNESSED TO SOMETHING. THE SPIRIT, ITSELF, HARNESSED HIM.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

85      Paul knew what it was. He--he found out that he was harnessed to Something. Like we put a--a--a horse in a harness, it's to--it's to pull something. And Paul knew, after this experience, and three years and a half of typing the--the experience he had, with the Bible, he realized that God had chosen him and had harnessed him by the Holy Spirit, the experience that he had, to pull the Gospel in the presence of the Gentiles. The Spirit, Itself, harnessed him.

*YOU BEEN YOKED UP WITH IT, BY THE HOLY GHOST, HAS YOKED YOU TO THE WORD. NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS, IT'S THE WORD.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

86      And, today, as servants of Christ, we become harnessed, hooked up. We can't go. We're logged in with It, harnessed to the Word. No matter what anyone else says, you're harnessed to It. There is something about It, that you just can't get away from It. You been yoked up with It, by the Holy Ghost, has yoked you to the Word. No matter what anyone else says, It's the Word. That's always harnessed up with It, put in the yoke with It. To the Word, by the Spirit, he was harnessed.

*BUT YOU'VE GOT TO ABSOLUTELY BE STRIPPED OF EVERYTHING, AND JUST BORN AGAIN, AFRESH. AND TAKE UP FROM THERE, LET THE HOLY SPIRIT LEAD.

87    He had learned on the--the back side of the Arabian desert there. When, all his former things, and experiences, and ambition, that, he had been stripped of those things.

88    Now, that's where we find, today, that we must be stripped, first. And people don't want to be stripped. The Methodist brother wants to hold to a little bit of his Methodist teaching. Uh-huh. The Baptist brother wants to hold to a little bit of his Baptist teaching. See? But you've got to absolutely be stripped of everything, and just born again, afresh. And take up from there, let the Holy Spirit lead. You can't say, "Well, now, my--my daddy said, when he got in, went in the church, he shook hands with the pastor. He, he's a good loyal member." That might have been all right for his race, but we're another race. See? Now we must come back to the Bible times for this day.

*AND REMEMBER, HE IS THE WORD. SEE? NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS, IT'S THE WORD.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

92      Maybe somebody could say, "Brother Saul, Brother Paul, we want you to come over here, because we got the biggest church. We got the biggest congregation. Your offerings will be great, and so forth."

93    But being pressed in the Spirit, he thought, "I got a brother over there. I'd like to go over and save this brother, get him to the Lord." But, yet, the Spirit pressed him to go somewhere else. He was a prisoner. Correctly.

94    O God, make us prisoners like that, from our own selfish ambition, and from our own judgments and our better way of thinking, to be a prisoner of Jesus Christ. I think that was a great statement, that, "I'm a prisoner to Jesus Christ."

95    And remember, He is the Word. See? No matter what anyone else thinks, it's the Word. See? If you're a prisoner to the Word, no denomination can sway you from It. It's--it's the Word. You're just... You're a prisoner to It, that's all. You must act the way It acts.

*…THAT WE COULD COMPLETELY SURRENDER OURSELF AND BE YOKED TO HIM, NO MATTER WHAT THE REST THE WORLD THINKS, WHAT THE REST THE WORLD DOES.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

98      Oh, tonight, if we, as the Branham Tabernacle, could only become prisoners; to our own selfish being, to our own ambition, that we could completely surrender ourself and be yoked to Him, no matter what the rest the world thinks, what the rest the world does. We're yoked with fetters of love. We are prisoners. "My feet is so yoked to Christ, it won't dance. My eyes is so yoked to Christ, till I, when I see these modern striptease on the street, It turns my head. My--my heart is so yoked in love to Him, till I can't have love for this world, anymore. My will is so yoked to Him, till I don't even know now what my ambitions are. Just, 'Wherever You lead, I'll follow, Lord.' I'll be a prisoner." See?

*HE WAS TRAINED BY THE HOLY GHOST, AGAIN, TO WAIT ON THE WORD.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

99      Paul was correctly a prisoner. He wasn't making any wrong statement. He was trained by the Holy Ghost, again, to wait on the Word. Now, he had been trained one way, but--but God had trained him another way now. He was trained by the Holy Spirit to wait upon the Lord, no matter what his ambitions was.

100    Now I'm going to, help by the Holy Spirit, show you something. See? Now let's just take an instance.

101    One day, Paul and Silas, coming down the street in a certain city where they was holding a revival. And a little, demon-possessed girl kept following him, crying out after him. And no doubt but what Paul knowed that he had the authority, as an apostle, to rebuke that evil spirit out of that woman. But did you notice? He waited, day after day, until, all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit spoke to him, said, "This is the hour."

102      Then he said, "Thou spirit, come out of her." See? He knowed to wait on the Lord.

*YOU FIND YOURSELF DEFEATED, AFTER WHILE, UNTIL GOD CAN GET A MAN THAT'S WILLING TO BECOME A PRISONER TO HIM.

114    ….. God always has to take any man, that will serve Him truly, to be His prisoner. A man has to surrender every ambition he's got, everything that he is, every--every thing, his life, soul, body, will, ambitions, and everything else, and become a complete, a prisoner to Christ, Who is the Word, to serve God.

115    You might have to walk contrary, in your better judgment. Maybe, in a certain organization, you might think that they could lift you up and give you something great, that you might flash. But what do you find yourself? You find yourself defeated, after while, until God can get a man that's willing to become a prisoner to Him.

*YOU'RE ONLY CONNECTED WITH CHRIST, AND HIM ONLY, THEN GOD CAN USE YOU.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

116      God is looking for prisoners. He's always done it. You might search it through the Scripture. A man has to be a prisoner to Christ, against anything. Therefore, you cannot be connected with anything but Christ; even your father, your mother, your brother, your sister, your husband, your wife, anybody. You're only connected with Christ, and Him only, then God can use you. Until then, you can't.

*AND CUT LOOSE THE WORLDLY LOOKS, ANYHOW, AND BECOME A PRISONER TO CHRIST.

117    Going out, sometimes speaks rough to people. See? I--I am trying to get you to cut loose. You've got to have a starting place, like sometime calls out the women bobbing their hair and wearing these clothes, and hold and maintain their Christian profession. Say, "That's a little thing." Well, you've got to start somewhere. So begin right there, in your ABC's. See? And cut loose the worldly looks, anyhow, and become a prisoner to Christ. And then just keep on, cut loose everything, till finally the last line is cut loose. Then you're--you're... You are a prisoner then. You become in His grip. He, He's got you in His grip.

*HE'S ALWAYS HAD TO TAKE A MAN AND MAKE HIM A PRISONER TO HIM, FORSAKE HIS OWN.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

184      Remember, all other times, what He's done. He's always had to take a man and make him a prisoner to Him, forsake his own. He had to forsake everything that he knowed, forget all of his trainings, everything, in order to know the will of God, and to follow God.

185    He can't follow anything that man has got to do, and God, the same time. It's too contrary, one to another. You can't be going east and west at the same time. You can't be going right and left at the same time. You can't be doing right and wrong at the same time. You can't be following man and God at the same time. No, sir. You're either following God or following man.

186    Now, then, if you are following God and have submitted yourself to God, then you become a prisoner to that God, to that Word, to that will. No matter what anything else says, you become a--a prisoner to It.

A.PRISONER_  JEFF.IN  V-2 N-8  WEDNESDAY_  63-0717

187      Listen. We're at the end time. And I would say this with reverence and respect, as the last couple minutes is floating by. Look. What God, to my opinion, will do and must do, and will do in this last day, is to find a tool for the harvest. He's got to find a tool, to thrash the floor. Any farmer, when he goes to his harvest, he has to have a tool to do it with; certainly, he's got to have a sharp sickle or something, some instrument, to thrash out the grain. And the harvest is ripe.

188    God, take us in Your hand. Make us bond-servants of Your love. Use us for tool, to bring the realization to this sinful, cursed earth that we're living in today, that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

189    For myself, God, let me be a prisoner. If all my brethren turn me down, if all my friends turn me down, I want to be a prisoner of Jesus Christ and His Word, that I might be harnessed to His Word, by the Holy Spirit, to see the Holy Spirit make the Word of God be confirmed by the same things that He said would be done. I want to be a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
